dual-boot Windows 8/ Ubuntu : impossible d'éteindre l'ordi sous Ubuntu

Bonjour, j'ai installé Ubuntu à côté de Windows 8 en suivant la procédure expliquée par malbo ici
http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/sau … -amd64.iso

Et bien je ne sais pas si cela vient d'un problème ou si c'est normal, mais il m'est impossible d'éteindre mon ordinateur depuis Ubuntu. Lorsque je clique sur éteindre depuis Ubuntu, l'ordinateur redémarre tout seul après quelques secondes comme si j'avais cliquer sur redémarrer.
Pour éteindre, je dois passer par Windows. Lorsqu'il redémarre, après avoir éteint sous Ubuntu, j'ouvre alors Windows, et de là je peux éteindre l'ordinateur.
Du coup comme j'utilise plus Ubuntu que Windows, je me demandais :
1) Y a-t-il une manipulation à faire pour inverser les choses?
2) Ou, encore, est-il possible de passer de Ubuntu à Windows et inversement, selon le système sur lequel on se trouve ?
3) Je demande cela parce que ce serait plus pratique, mais surtout, comme je suis plutôt nulle en informatique, j'aimerais savoir si cela est le signe d'un problème grave ou quelque chose qui se reconfigure ?

Tu peux toujours essayer sur ubuntu, après avoir fermé toutes tes applis, d'ouvrir un terminal (ctrl+alt+t) puis de taper les commandes suivantes :
sudo  sync
puis
sudo halt

Cela t'éviterait de repasser par W8 pour eteindre.

Bon je viens d'essayer de modifier mon post #1, avec un copier/coller du lien qui m'a envoyé sur la procédure de malbo. Mais ça donne la même chose. J'ai pourtant trouvé ce lien dans la discussion [résolue] "drôle d'installation" dont l'auteur du sujet a supprimé son compte. et dans cette discussion, ce lien fonctionne. Je cite la procédure à laquelle je me réfère et que j'ai suivi :

Ma procédure pour créer une clé liveUSB Ubuntu 12.04.3 64 bits avec LiLi depuis Windows (Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP) :
Télécharger à l'avance le fichier ubuntu-12.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso : http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/pre … -amd64.iso
Télécharger LiLi et l'installer dans Windows. ne pas le lancer tout de suite.
Connecter un clé USB (de capacité supérieure à 1 Go. Tout ce qu'il y a dessus sera effacé). Cette clé, il faut qu'elle contienne une seule partition FAT32 qui occupe toute la capacité de la clé. Après qu'elle soit connectée, vérifier qu'elle apparaît bien dans l'explorateur de Windows et noter la lettre (genre N:) que lui a attribué Windows (ici, moi je prends le temps de faire un "formatage rapide" en FAT32 de la clé USB : ça prend deux secondes.)
Lancer LiLi et le configurer :
Etape 1 : choisir la clé USB dans la liste (on aura repéré sa lettre dans l'explorateur auparavant)
Etape 2 : choisir la source : cliquer sur ISO et naviguer jusqu'à l'iso précédemment téléchargé
LiLi affiche un message tout péteux :

Cet ISO n'est pas dans la liste de compatibilité. LinuxLive USB Creator essaiera quand même de l'installer en utilisant les mêmes paramètres que pour Ubuntu 12.04 "Precise Pangolin" (Unity/Gnome)

Ne pas fuir en courant, c'est sa formule de politesse à LiLi : Pas d'inquiétude, ça marche tout le temps.
Etape 3 : persistance : laisser à 0 Mo (on veut un équivalent véritable du liveCD donc pas de persistance, aucune conservation d'aucun réglage ni d'aucune donnée)
Etape 4 : décocher les options éventuellement pré-cochées (on ne veut aucune option)
Etape 5 : cliquer sur l'éclair

Je viens de le faire et je poste depuis une session live sur cette nouvelle liveUSB.

C'est une procédure pour réaliser une liveUSB Ubuntu. Bon mais quel est le rapport avec tes soucis d’installation de Ubuntu à côté de Windows 8 ? J'ai du mal à comprendre ton raisonnement...

Eh bien, le rapport avec l'installation de Ubuntu, c'est que cela à commencé juste après que je l'ai installation à côté de Windows 8 qui était pré-installé sur mon ordinateur. Avant l'installation, mon ordinateur ne redémarrait pas tout seul après l'avoir éteint, mais évidemment il n'y avait que Windows 8 dessus.
Peut-être n'ai-je pas poster ce sujet dans la bonne rubrique, je l'ai posté là parce que cela est apparu juste après l'installation. Et que la discussion où j'ai trouvé le lien est notée [résolue], du coup je pensais qu'il fallait ouvrir une autre discussion.
Désolée malbo, s'il ne fallait pas, je ne sais pas trop utiliser le forum, ni Ubuntu.
Je n'ai pas encore essayer ton conseil jeanjd63. Je vais le faire, tout de suite.

Bon voilà j'ai essayé, non cela ne marche pas vraiment, cela ferme la cession, mais je me retrouve sur la page violette de l'ouverture de la cession, tu sais la violette avec ubuntu écrit dessus. Mais elle est figée ainsi. Pour éteindre j'ai forcé l'ordinateur avec le bouton de démarrage en le tenant enfoncé quelques secondes.

Re : dual-boot Windows 8/ Ubuntu : impossible d'éteindre l'ordi sous Ubuntu

Bonjour, je vais chercher pour te répondre.
Pour infos, les choses se sont aggravées avec mon ordi, en allant sur Windows pour éteindre hier soir, il m'a annoncé des anomalies et puis il a lancé un truc, du genre "tentative de récupération", j'ai laissé tourner et quand je suis revenue, et bien j'étais sur Ubuntu. J'ai donc éteint, l'ordi s'est rallumé tout seul comme d'hab, puis j'ai demandé Windows (c'est par là que j'arrivais à l'éteindre). Et là oups, plus de Windows, mais une sorte d'alternance de pages bleue puis noir, puis bleu, etc. J'ai forcé l'ordi pour l'éteindre.
J'ai rallumé et demandé Ubuntu, et lui ça allait, il marche comme à l'ordinaire, un peu plus lent pour se lancer après que je donne le mot de passe.
Voilà j'ai trouvé : Aspire V5-571G.

(Par ailleurs, je voudrais revenir, sur cette histoire de lien illisible que tu ne comprends pas, même si rien ne m'y oblige. C'est vraiment gentil de ta part de dire "admettons". C'est normal que tu ne suives pas mon raisonnement, et je m'excuse de cela. Cela a à voir avec le fermeture du compte où je dis avoir trouvé le lien en question. Voilà j'ai beaucoup d'admiration pour tout ce que vous faites, et toi en particulier, et j'ai tourné mes phrases comme cela parce que je ne voulais surtout pas rester sans suite vis-à-vis de toi qui m'a aidé. D'autre part, en m'expliquant plus clairement je craignais de me faire engueuler à nouveau. En fait des personnes de mon entourage m'ont un peu expliqué sévèrement deux trois choses sur l'anonymat, et demandé de fermer le compte. La nuit dernière, j'ai très mal dormi par rapport à eux; et cette nuit-ci j'ai super mal dormi parce que j'avais l'impression de n'avoir pas été assez claire par rapport à toi. Pour ma part, je n'arrive pas encore à avoir un jugement défini sur l'anonymat ou non, je veux juste apprendre des choses sur l'informatique et Ubuntu, sans déranger pour autant ma famille. Je n'ai pas assez réfléchi, obnubilée par réussir à installer mon ordi, et du coup c'est peut-être ce super forum dont j'ai peut-être fait mauvais usage. Le fait de mal faire, me ronge beaucoup. Maintenant en m'expliquant (je sais bien qu'un lien improbable peut se faire) mais je m'en fous par rapport au fait être en quelque sorte mal honnête. Si t'avais le pouvoir de faire disparaître le contenu de cette parenthèse, ce serait formidable, sinon tant pis, car j'approuve trop le besoin de m'excuser, d'ailleurs, aussi par rapport aux personnes qui auraient eu besoin de la suite. Je n'étais pas mal intentionnée, c'est juste que je n'ai pas su comment faire autrement. Quand j'ai demandé au administrateurs du forum de fermer mon compte, il m'ont proposé de changer le nom. Mais comme j'avais lu dans la rubrique "comment fermer son compte", qu'il fallait attendre qu'un administrateur passe par là, et tombe sur la demande, en attendant leur réponse j'ai créé un autre compte. Ils m'ont répondu très rapidement en fait, et expliqué qu'on pouvait seulement changé de nom. Mais je n'osais pas avoir deux comptes, ou leur demander de fermer celui-là. )

Faut pas te prendre la tête avec tout ça. Il y a plus important dans la vie non ?
Pour en revenir à tes problèmes de reboot, pourrais-tu regarder dans le bios si tu n'as pas une option activée type wakeup ????
Pour ton windows, il ne démarre plus ?  As-tu un cd de réparation ? Sinon en choisissant windows puis en appuyant sur F8 lors du boot n'arrives-tu pas à démarrer en mode dépannage?

Non, jeanjd63 pas de DVD de réparation, en tout cas sous la main. Faire F8 lors du boot ne marche pas non plus.
malbo, si c'est compliqué pour trouver, ne perds pas ton temps. Je me dis que je pourrais peut-être viré Windows, avec gparted, en supprimant sa partition. Je ne tiens pas trop à windows 8, de tout façon. Peut-être d'une façon générale, que la cohabitation est difficile entre ces deux systèmes d'exploitation. En plus j'ai lu quelque part, que les ordinateurs Aspire V5-571G, n'était pas de bonne qualité !
Un Ubuntu en forme et qui s'éteint normalement me suffirait largement.
Combien de fois peut-on écraser une partition, re-partitionner, réinstaller, etc. sans abîmer un disque dur du genre du mien ?

Si tu as un moyen de réinstaller Windows 8 le jour où tu le souhaiteras*, ce serait plus simple effectivement de virer complètement Windows 8 de ton disque dur et de laisser Ubuntu occuper la totalité du disque dur. Si tu es d'accord avec cette dernière proposition, il faudrait refaire l'installation en sélectionnant "Effacer le disque et installer Ubuntu" à cette étape de l'installation : http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/23667 … 082239.png
Toutes les partitions du disque seront effacées et Ubuntu s'installera automatiquement sur la totalité du disque dur.

* si tu devais le donner ou le vendre à quelqu'un qui a besoin de Windows 8

Bon eh bien ça y est, un Windows de moins, et un Ubuntu qui a toute la place pour lui !
Pourtant après avoir réinstallé, en supprimant Windows, comme tu me l'expliques malbo, (sans dire que c'était censé réparer le problème), et bien l'ordinateur ne s'éteint toujours pas.
Pour le problème de démarrage, j'essaie donc de réparer avec Linux secure, avec la procédure guidée qui est proposée lorsqu'on tape boot dans la barre des charmes. Il a détecté un "RAID".
D'ailleurs quelqu'un sait-il ce que signifie "RAID" ?

Bon je laisse ça de côté.
A présent, je te prie de coller ça dans le champ de recherche de Google :

Aspire V5-571G shutdown

et de faire une recherche sur les 3 derniers mois (pour choper le maximum de résultats qui concernent Ubuntu 13.10 et pas les versions précédentes de Ubuntu)
En faisant cela, je trouve :

2) http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2188726 (là il est dit que sous Windows il n'y a pas de pb ; c'est sous Ubuntu 13.10 qu'il y a le pb et c'est bien le même symptôme que toi. Il y a une liste de propositions dans ce post mais comme il n'y a pas de réponse, il est possible qu'aucune de ces astuces ne fonctionne)

Si je fais la même recherche sans le critère des 3 derniers mois (date indifférente), je croule sous les résultats qui mentionnent en substance "laptop reboot instead of shutdown". Mais comme il ne s'agit pas de Ubuntu 13.10, je ne sais pas si telle solution qui marche pour Ubuntu 12.04 peut fonctionner pour Ubuntu 13.10.

En conclusion : ton pb de redémarrage au lieu de s'éteindre est bien un bug de Ubuntu avec ton modèle Aspire V5-571G. Mais moi je ne sais pas quoi te proposer comme solution.

Selon l'historique de la situation (changement du bios UEFI vers le mode Legacy), que penses-tu de cette idée ?
Je remets le bios en mode UEFI, et j'installe Ubuntu (celui compatible) en suivant la page "efi: documentation Ubuntu" :

Mais avant cela faut-il faire quelque chose de particulier avec cette partition problématique sur le bios en mode Legacy ? La formater ? La supprimer ? Qu'advient-il de ce qui est sur l'un des modes du Bios quand on passe de l'un à l'autre?
Si c'est une mauvaise idée, eh bien, je devrais peu-être attendre une réponse de quelqu'un qui sait comment réparer la partition actuelle. Mais je me dis que l'absence de réponse peut durer, car il est peut-être peu probable, que des personnes érudites sur ces questions, ne savaient pas que c'est un mauvais modèle ! J'ai bien envie d'essayer plusieurs bidouillages... Si le modèle Aspire V5-571G ne "supporte" pas bien Ubuntu, tant pis s'il en crève, non ?

Je n'en suis pas certain à 100% mais je pense que le pb "redémarrage au lieu de s'éteindre" ne sera pas résolu si tu refais une installation en mode UEFI au lieu de ton installation actuelle en mode non-EFI. Je pense que ce pb ne dépend pas du mode d'installation (UEFI ou non-EFI) mais d'autre chose que je ne connais pas. Cela dit, tu peux le faire si tu veux d'installer en mode UEFI* mais je serais très surpris que ça puisse résoudre le problème.

* pitié si tu te lances là-dedans, ne coche pas "Utiliser LVM" à cette étape, ça me brouille la compréhension car je ne pratique pas LVM.
