Je viens de désintaller ma version des dépots et réinstalle par le CVS sans aucun soucis. Merci à  toi.

Dommage que la config du 41 ne soit entièrement gardée..

Non, ta question n'a rien de "débile", je vais rendre la partie mise à  jour plus visible.

J'ai modifié le guide. Le paragraphe sur la mise à  jour est (je l'espère) maintenant bien visible.

Autre chose... plus fun !
J'ai fait un screencast de mon bureau sous Ubuntu Studio + E17: Capture en haute qualité et plein écran de l'affichage de mon moniteur LCD 22 pouces pendant une session audio (audacious + jack). Avec un son (presque) honnête...

à‰videmment, c'est du lourd: 37 Mo pour une minute d'animation au format 1680x1040  big_smile

Pour les curieux, on récupère la vidéo (OGG theora) avec la commande suivante:

wget http://pagesperso-orange.fr/pinguSODalon/files/Groove_E17.ogg

Je vous conseille gxine (ou xine) en mode plein écran pour la lecture.

J'aimerais savoir comment ça passe sur votre moniteur car je compte proposer un screencast de ce genre pour illustrer la version Ubuntu Studio de ma méthode. Donc, si vous visionnez cette vidéo, merci du retour.

Un peu sombre à  mon goût ton bureau mais pas mal du tout... perso je préfère les thèmes genre milki ou winter.

Tu utilises quoi pour faire la capture? c'est vraiment pas ma spécialité.

Le fond d'écran - ici en grande partie occulté par les fenêtres des applications - est celui par défaut de Ubuntu Studio. Le thème E17 est 23 oz (bien fait et peu gourmand). Je reprends aussi les couleurs de Ubuntu Studio pour les applications non GTK comme les fenêtres du Jack Audio Connection Kit (Qt). Cela donne effectivement des tons plutà´t sombres, mais non agressifs pour les yeux et donc plus adaptés lorsqu'on utilise (à  priori) des programmes de graphisme pendant plusieurs heures... Je trouve que c'est également judicieux pour les applications audio: ça facilite la concentration sur les données (nombreuses et variées) qui évoluent sans cesse à  l'écran.

En fait, mon bureau par défaut au quotidien est constitué d'un fond d'écran nu, plus un ou deux modules dans un shelf transparent. J'utilise le clic droit pour appeler le menu des applications préférées et aussi beaucoup le raccourci [Alt-Echap] -> "Run Command". Je privilégie ainsi la réactivité de l'interface et laisse aux applications qui tournent le maximum de ressources...

...Et E17 cvs sur le noyau RT (temps-réel) de Ubuntu Studio, ça le fait ! cool

Pour la capture vidéo, je me suis servi de gtk-recordmydesktop. On peux voir que ce programme apparaà®t dans la fenêtre de connexion de jack ("recordMyDesktop") et qu'il s'interface donc parfaitement avec ce serveur de sons.

J'ai essayé sans succès byzanz, xvidcap et istanbul: certains refusaient de se lancer ou de capturer l'audio... Je n'ai pas testé screenkast. Quant à  l'application E17 enthrall, elle n'est pas assez sophistiquée.

Salut,

Je viens de tester bang, compile mais ne marche pas "glx_...." erreur (je crois avoir vu un truc la dessus, mais ou?)

Mais malheureusement, après tentative de load de bang, erreur "glx" crash E17 et perte d'une partie de la config: affichage menu et barre de titre.....

D'oà¹: pensez à  sauvegarder le rep .e avant tout test... la commande:

tar -c ~/.e > e17.tar

créera une archive tar de votre répertoire .e

La sauvegarde de la configuration de E17 est une bonne idée... même si, personnellement, je n'en fais plus  lol  En fait, je n'ai rien "perdu" depuis longtemps après un crash de E17. Je dois avoir de la chance...

En ce qui concerne le module bang (version tar gz 0.0.24), pas de problème de mon cà´té, que ce soit sous Gutsy ou Hardy.
Essaie à  nouveau après avoir mis à  jour ton environnement. Regarde aussi dans le fichier xorg.conf et vérifie que tu as les lignes suivantes dans la section "Device" pour ta carte graphique (NVIDIA):

Option         "AddARGBVisuals" "True"
Option         "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"

(C'est inutile pour Hardy)

Un préalable au chargement du module bang: Sois sûr de connaà®tre le raccourci clavier pour redémarrer Enlightenment (créer le raccourci le cas échéant) car l'écran devient noir juste après l'activation et il faut relancer "e".

Une précision à  propos des Screenlets: ça marche si on passe par l'application elle-même (et non par le module E17), c'est à  dire par la commande screenlets-manager :

Salut,

Pour bang, je n'ai pas une Nvidia mais une intel (portable acer intel 945 driver intel), j'y regarde dés que j'ai le temps.

Pour l'instant je joue avec pulseaudio (virer esound et e16), e17 est devenu mon environnement par défaut, c'est le seul qui gère correctement le multi écran avec xrandr et je suis toujours en deux écrans (souvent un projecteur). Avec e16 et gnome l'écran principal était le projo seul e17 laisse tout correctement sur le portable. Un message de pdgin au milieu du projo en pleine présentation c'est pas top; du genre: "dit mon coeur tu peux passer aux courses acheter ...... bisous"

Sérieusement, tu connais pas une commande pour gérer couper le son de pulseaudio en console.

Les enfoirés de chez Orange ont suspendu l'accès à mes pages perso pour une histoire d'index html non conforme yikes

Comme je ne me soumettrai pas à leur diktat et que je n'ai que faire de leurs "services", ma méthode restera donc hors ligne pendant quelques jours, le temps de basculer chez un autre hébergeur.

j'ai installé e17 par les dépots car je n'ai pas le temps de compiler et recompiler régulièrement.

mis a part quelques bugs d'affichage j'en suis fou!! depuis mon install il y a deux mois j'ai pas mal cherché une doc "bien faite" mais ne trouve pas ce que je cherche.

je n'ai pas pensé a demander ici directement et puis je ne sais pas si mon "problème" y serai bien, vu que j'utilise les dépots.

mais si tu pouvais (ou n'importe qui d'autre bien sur) jeter un coup d'oeuil ici ce serai super sympa.

En tant que gentooiste à la maison, ubuntuiste au boulot, j'avais envie de trouver un bon script qui recompile e17 tout seul et celui qui est proposé ici semble bien marcher.

Ma méthode devrait réapparaître en ligne dans la journée ou demain. Elle proposera deux types d'installation: une install minimale avec seulement le gestionnaire de fenêtres "e" et une autre de l'environnement élargi comme auparavant.

je suis passé complètement à Ubuntu Hardy Heron, je ne traite donc plus de Gutsy Gibbon.

Au registre des nouveautés dans le CVS, le gestionnaire de fonds d'écran de "e" peut maintenant récupérer de lui-même les wallpapers sur get-e.org. Ça fonctionne bien et c'est... cool
