Dual boot, windows 7 sur hdd externe
Bonjour à tous,
Il est fort probable que je soit hors sujet voir même hors forum mais je ne savais pas trop ou poser ma question. Et la communauté Ubuntu me semblait un bon point de départ.
Je récemment installé un ssd dans mon laptop, vu l'espace disque limité je n'ai pas pris la peine de le remplir avec une partition windows. L'idée initiale était de le booter depuis l'ancien hdd pour les rares fois ou j'en aurais besoin. De fait si je le branche il boot dessus GRUB charge, aucun problème à lancer Ubuntu. Windows c'est une autre histoire : message d'erreur au sujet du changement de matériel puis il me donne le choix entre réparer l'os ou le lancer. Si je le lance, logo de chargement puis blue screen. Si je choisis "réparer" il ne détecte aucune installation.
Donc oui le problème concerne windows, mais dans un cas assez spécifique que j’espère certain d'entre vous ont déja rencontré. J'ai dans le passé déja boot windows depuis un disque externe sans soucis ( et par hasard) mais il le pc était en dualboot.
Toute piste est bonne à prendre si elle m'évite la pesante réinstallation du système. Une affaire de mbr peut etre ?

N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le disque sdb (320GB) !

ta partition sdb3 (ton disque C: de Win7 selon désignation Windowsienne) est occupée à 98%. Je pense que c'est la raison pour laquelle ton Win7 ne veut plus fonctionner. Il est sans doute possible depuis Ubuntu de copier des fichiers documents qui sont sur sdb3 sur une autre partition puis se supprimer ces fichiers de la partition sdb3 pour diminuer son taux d'occupation. Je sais que c'est faisable parce que quelqu'un l'a fait récemment sur ce forum. C'est toujours potentiellement dangereux de tripoter dans la partition système de Windows mais je ne crois pas que tu aies trop le choix.

Je lancerais la réparation depuis boot-repair ?
Par contre je savais pas que c'était dangereux de supprimer les fichier du c: il m'est arrivé dans le passé de procéder de la sorte sans problème.

J'exagère peut-être en écrivant que c'est dangereux mais je pense qu'il y a toujours un risque de faire des conneries quand on fait des modifs dans Windows depuis Ubuntu.

C'est à dire que je t'ai signalé l'anomalie que j'ai détectée (partition système Windows occupée à 98%) mais à part ça, je ne suis pas spécialiste Windows. Tu devrais pouvoir trouver de l'aide sur un forum Windows.
