[Résolu] EFI, Windows 8 et Ubuntu : erreur dans le GRUB

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai la joie de revenir à Ubuntu après avoir été obligé de travailler sous Windows 8 (beurk). Je viens donc d'installer Ubuntu 12.04.4 sur mon ordinateur du travail, un Aus Zenbook UX31A. L'installation s'est bien passée, une fois que j'ai eu réglé le problème du secure boot, et de l'EFI. Cependant, maintenant, quand Grub se lance et que je sélectionne windows, j'ai un message d'erreur : unknow command drivemap et invalid EFI filepath. Si je réactive le secure boot, j'arrive sur le grub, mais cette fois il y a une troisième erreur : secure boot forbid
Donc pour pourvoir démarrer windows, je suis obligé de repasser par l'efi et remettre windows comme premier choix au démarrage, ce qui est un peu lourd, surtout que je vais devais souvent passer d'un système à l'autre.

Comment réparer ce petit souci de Grub ? Pour info, c'est Grub 1.99-21 ubuntu 3.14 .

Oups, j'ai oublié de faire une petite recherche sur le forum ! Apparemment je ne suis pas la seule dans ce cas (là et là) , mais je n'ai pas vu de solution à mon problème (je préférerai vraiment utiliser la LTS).

c'est normal, si tu changes EFI,  il faut refaire l'installation de ton Windows.

Ah... Pourtant Windows marche bien..Il n'y pas d'autre solution ? Une nouvelle version de Grub ?

Tu n'as pas installé Windows et Ubuntu dans le même mode du BIOS?

Je ne sais pas trop ce que tu veux dire par là. J'ai suivi l'installation standard depuis ma live-usb.

En général, le BIOS est en mode UEFI et Windows 8 pré-installé.

Donc, on installe Ubuntu aussi en mode UEFI.

Ce n'est pas dans ce mode que tu as installé Ubuntu?

Sur ton Ubuntu installé, installe Boot Repair via la commande:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair -y && sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install -y boot-repair && boot-repair

Ne répare rien, donne seulement le rapport de Boot Info.

Ça m'a l'air correct.

Il faudrait que malbo passe par ici. Il est nettement plus calé que moi sur ce genre de problème.

Poste ton Boot-Info depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé. Tu sauteras l'étape 1 et tu attaqueras directement à l'étape 2 : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/boot-info#etape_2
Suivant ce que le Boot-Info révélera, je te proposerai une solution.

Aucun changement n'a été effectué sur cet ordinateur.

Ton install est parfaite (voir EDIT1). Ce qui n'est pas parfait, c'est la version de Grub qui équipe Ubuntu 12.04.4 qui ne sait pas détecter correctement Windows 8 (*), ce qui fait que les entrées "Windows Recovery Environment (loader) (on /dev/sda2)" et "Windows 8 (loader) (on /dev/sda4)" ne sont pas utilisables.
Par contre, tu dis dans ton post #1 : "Donc pour pourvoir démarrer windows, je suis obligé de repasser par l'efi et remettre windows comme premier choix au démarrage, ce qui est un peu lourd, surtout que je vais devais souvent passer d'un système à l'autre." mais je suis surpris que tu sois obligé de faire cela car normalement ton modèle d'ordi est équipé d'une fonction spéciale de choix au démarrage qui est appelée "menu BBS" dans ce post de phiphilou du forum-des-portables-asus.fr : http://www.forum-des-portables-asus.fr/ … ws-8.9375/
Il faut enfoncer la touche ECHAP au démarrage de l'ordi pour y accéder. Je t'invite à utiliser cette fonctionnalité plutôt que de modifier la priorité de démarrage.

(*) depuis Ubuntu 13.10 et versions suivantes, ce Bug #807801 n'existe plus.

EDIT1 : cependant, on voit ceci qui n'est pas dangereux mais qui n'est pas utile :

Si un jour tu décides de remplacer ton installation actuelle Ubuntu 12.04.4 par Ubuntu 14.04 (sortie officielle à fin Avril 2014), tu auras un meilleur fonctionnement : dans le menu Grub, tu n'auras plus les entrées non-fonctionnelles qui donnent "invalid EFI filepath" et au contraire tu auras une entrée fonctionnelle pour démarrer Windows 8. Mais tant que tu restes sur Ubuntu 12.04.4, je te recommande d'en rester à la situation actuelle sans chercher à faire des manips tordues (à ce sujet, je te recommande de rester à l'écart de cette bouse de Grub Customizer)

J'ai ce meme message d'erreur

Je m'explique :

J'ai ubuntu 14.04 LTS sur mon gigabyte P35 (portable)

J'ai envie d'avoir un dual boot avec windows (7 ou 8, peu m'importe), j'utilise donc multi system en usb pour gerer l'installation de windows dans une partition créé a cet effet (NTFS)

Pour booter sur la clef usb, je suis obligé d'aller dans le bios, choisir de booter sur le periphérique usb qui est en uefi et definir le mode de boot en uefi.
Lorsque je vais pour lancer windows, il me sort le meme message d'erreur "invalid..."

J'ai pourtant un 14.04 LTS, quoi ce que c'est pourquoi ?
