Je ne peux pas lire / écrire sur mon EHDD !!!

Bonjour à tous! Mon problème est trèèèès simple a expliquer.
Mon disque dur externe ne monte pas sa partition! J'ai donc essayé Gparted, qui ne le vois pas, quand ) TestDisk il ne le vois pas non plus! Que dois-je faire a votre avis?

Edit : le disk est en NTFS et mon pc tourne sous Ubunut 12.04 LTS.

Si mon disque refuse de se montrer est-ce que ça veut dire que le MBR est fichue?  Comment rétablir la table des partitions tout en conservant mes fichiers ?

1 - Ton disque a-t-il déjà bien fonctionné sur cet ordinateur ?

2 - Ton disque est-il connecté sur un port USB-3 ?

3 - Si tu as un port USB-2 peux-tu le connecté dessus et faire un test ?

4 - Si tu n'as pas de port USB-3 USB-2, peux-tu désactiver le xHCI dans le BIOS et faire un essai ?

Si tu as essayé sur un port USB-2, cela ne sert à rien de vouloir désactiver le xHCI dans le BIOS qui correspond à la désactivation de l'USB-3.

Es-tu sûr d'avoir fait le test sur un port USB-2 ? Si oui alors donne le retour de cette commande, s'il te plait :

sudo sfdisk -luS

Elle donne des informations sur les disques détectés, et le retour de cette commande :

udisks --show-info /dev/sdb1

Cette commande donnera d'autres informations.

J'y pense en lisant plus en détail le message retour de

 udisks --show-info /dev/sdb1

Est -ce que ces trois lignes suivante ne montre pas que le disque se monte bien et qu'il est reconnus qq part dans le système ?

aie aie, il ne me donne pas d'UUID, pas de chemin pour acceder à la partition....aie aie pas cool!
Et il ne detecte aucune partition monté sur le disque.... :-/

Je m'étais trompé dans les branchement et j'avais branché un autre disque dur au lieu de celui malade, c'est pour ça que les info étaient erronées.
voila le retour de la commande (tjr sur le bon disque dur --> le grand malade)

Sans avoir connecter le HDD, peux-tu donner :

dmesg | tail

Ensuite tu connectes le HDD, tu attends une minute puis tu donnes :

dmesg

Edit : attention a ne pas faire de nœud sur le câble usb wink
