Problèmes Asus N56V, donc Optimus, et Google Earth (encore...)

Bonjour,

j'ai donc un asus N56V, ainsi le plaisir d'avoir deux cartes graphiques, youpi:

Et l'accélération graphique ne fonctionne pas sous Google Earth, évidemment. Mon problème, concrètement, c'est que certains fichiers kmz ne s'affichent qu'en vue très éloignée et disparaissent quand je me rapproche.
J'ai essayé tout ce que j'ai vu passer sur beaucoup de forums et de docs. Dans tous les sens.
Les pilotes propriétaires ne fonctionnent bien sûr pas ....

J'ai essayé Bumblebee. Selon les versions de Google Earth que j'utilise, soit ça ne change rien, il marche aussi mal en le lançant avec ou sans optirun. Soit GE ne fonctionne pas du tout sans, et tout est très pixelisé en haute altitude avec optirun. Ca reste aussi très lent, et je ne peux toujours pas voir mes kmz. J'ai bien sûr essayé optirun glxspheres64, qui fonctionne très bien.

quel est ta version d'ubuntu ?

si tu passe sous la version 14.04 LTS tu peut tenter prime qui est l’implémentation officielle d'optimus par nvida

Ah oui, j'ai oublié de préciser. Je suis sur la 12.04.4 LTS. Le problème, c'est que je suis en plein stage et que je n'ai pas vraiment le temps de passer à une nouvelle version, corriger tous les petits bugs inévitables et me faire mes repères avant fin juin...

tu est sous unity ?
si oui pas grand chose ne change au niveau de l'interface tu ne risque pas de perdre tes repère

avec la 12.04.4 LTS pas de solution si bumblebee ne marche pas.

Non, je suis sous Gnome classic. Et je ne veux justement pas passer à une interface du style de Unity.

Ben zut alors ...

Au passage, j'ai le même problème d'affichage spécifique aux kmz sous Windows, alors je commence à me dire que le problème ne vient peut-être pas de là.

si tu veut garder une interface du style Gnome classic tu peut tester xubuntu 14.04 LTS

cerise sur le gâteau l’environnement est trés léger et donc ca sera un peu plus rapide que ubuntu unity
