[Résolu] Vmware 10 workstation sur ubuntu 14.04 server avec gnome2

Bonsoir,
j'ai mis a jour mon serveur ubuntu 14.04 LTS, apache, Mysql marche et tomcat7, virtualbox marche très bien,
mais j'aimerais pouvoir installer vmware workstation 10.
J'ai lu ce post suivant :
vmware10

pendant l'injection dans le noyau des programmes vmware il me retourne une erreur !

Exactement le même problème chez moi. Apparemment il n'est pas dans le bon repertoire: /lib/modules/3.13.0-16-lowlatency/build/include n'existe pas

... je cherche dans cette direction

Aller dans le repertoire source

cd /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source

Décompression du fichier vmnet

sudo tar -xvf vmnet.tar

Patch du fichier filter.c avec le fichier créé plus haut

sudo patch vmnet-only/filter.c < ~/vmnet313.patch

# re compression du fichier

sudo tar -uvf vmnet.tar vmnet-only

#effacement de l'ancien fichier

sudo rm -r vmnet-only

relancer VMWare Workstation qui va a nouveau compiler les modules

cette manip fonctionne parfaitement chez moi

Bonjour, j'essai votre solution mais cela ne fonctionne pas cela bloque sans doute à cette endroit:
/usr/lib/vmware/modules/source$ sudo patch vmnet-only/filter.c < ~/vmnet313.patch
patching file vmnet-only/filter.c

J'ai réussis l'installation de Vmware Workstation 10 sur ubuntu 14.04 LTS, enfin tout ca pourvoir pendant un mois gratuis,
aprés faut payer domage !!

Bonsoir,

Je pense que la "solution" plus basique peu aider.
VMWARE vient de mettre la version 10.0.2 en date du 17 avril 2014 en ligne. A priori elle comprend un correctif pour la 14.04
Je la télécharge actuellement pour tester.

redit : Après téléchargement et installation de workstation 10.0.2, tout fonction correctement. Si vous avez un serial pour la 10.0.1, il passe pour la 10.0.2.
