Samba Trusty vers Mac: réseau invisible

Bonjour à tous,

j'ai une 14,04 et je viens d'installer samba pour un partage de dossier (1) avec un mac.
Après avoir redémarré le serveur samba suite à config de smb.conf, rien dans Aller à / Réseau sur le mac.
Redémarrages pc inutiles.

Le réseau wifi est un réseau dont le SSID est masqué, et sans mot de passe. Les deux pc y sont bien connectés.

Le dossier partagé appartient à mon nom user, et les droits sont 777

En lisant les discussions ici, j'ai fait un

sudo apt-get -y --force-yes -f install samba

qui est ok.

Et aussi

sudo ufw disable

Puis un

sudo service smbd restart

qui donne :

smbd stop/waiting
smbd start/running, process 12918

Le conf est d'origine; j'ai juste ajouté à la fin ce qui concerne mon dossier partagé.

Bonjour,

apres une lecture rapide, 3 choses :

- Avoir un nom de machine identique au nom du workgroup, n'est vraiement pas une bonne idée
- le chemin dans "path = /mnt/temporaire/dossierpartagé" contient un accent (je sais pas si c'est genant, mais change cela, et renomme aussi le dossier correspondant)
- désactiver ufw, mais il y a toujours iptables (utilisant lui meme netfilter) qui tourne, donc plutot que de désactiver un pare feu, mieux vaut au contrare le laisser actif, et n'autoriser que ce qui est necessaire... donc les port a ouvrir sont mentionnés dans cette partie de la donc samba
- enfin ton sbb.conf me parait louche, c'est quoi ce "et" juste avant la section [FILMS]

ps: histoire d'avoir plus d'info, donne les retours de

sudo smbtree #entre le mdp root quand il est demandé, si on n'a pas définit de mdp root, laissé vide et valider par la touche Entrée
ls -la /mnt/temporaire/dossierpartage # j'ai modifié le é en e pensant que tu vas faire de meme

Salut,

et merci pour cette nouvelle intervention.

Comme j'ai essayé de multiples config, j'avais juste après mis "maison" comme nom netbios : idem
Le chemin path était une indication standard mais pas le vrai nom qui est, tout le monde s'en doute: films
le "et" ne devait pas être dans le code, c'est moi qui l'ai mis pour préciser qu'on sautait des lignes.

Pour terminer ce message, je viens aussi d'ouvrir les routes dans ufw et de le réactiver.
J'ai ensuite redémarré samba, nmdb et smdb.

Idem, aucune connexion.

Voici tout mon conf:

Linux est génial, mais dès qu'on sort de l'automatique on est complètement dépassés, et les recherches, en rebondissant de sujet en sujet intercroisés, n'en finissent pas !

Le monde informatique est séparé en trois grands groupes:
- windows : se configure en 5 minutes, s'écroule en 5 semaines
- linux : dure 100 ans, mais il faut un siècle pour tout mettre en place
- apple : c'est le crédit qui dure 5 ans

Je ne sais toujours pas où sauter... comment plonger quand on est déjà en train de se noyer ?

ton smb contient des merdes (nom des machine avec un espace = non,,, des directives manquantes, non, etc ).... soit tu as l'original et tu le restaure en y ajoutant ton partage, soit, tu désinatlle samba (y compris les fichiers de conf) et tu le réinstalle

PS quid des commande iag supplementaires demandé plus haut...

ben les commandes, tu vas trouver ça intéressant.
J'ai jamais réussi à modifier cette m$^=) de nom host. Tu vas me dire que ça a rapport...

oh oui, cela a un rapport ^^ déja le nom de la machine, avec un espace, je suis pas sur à 100%, mais a mon avis ton probleme vient de la (y a peut  etre pas que cela), un nom netbios ne doit pas etre avec un espace !!! a changer une fois changé de rebooter re essaye une commande commencant par "sudo" si il y a toujours l'erreur :


retour de

cat /etc/hosts
cat /etc/hostname

J'avais jamais réussi à changer ce nom d'hôte définitivement !


J'avais pourtant bien /etc/hosts

127.0.0.1	localhost Max

Mais il me manquait sûrement /etc/hostname, haha évidemment.

Voilà c'est fait et le problème reste le même: samba invisible depuis le mac.
Je vais essayer de rechoper un fichier conf normal, ou je sais pas.

Et sinon j'ai aussi

dès que je me log en root qui commence à me faire du mal.

Bon, voilà un conf de base que je viens de créer:

workgroup = chalet
netbios name = serveur

path = /mnt/temporaire/films

guest ok = yes

guest account = nobody

Sim-pleu !

Question brûlante: est-ce que j'ai bien fait en sorte de permettre l'accès à TOUT LE MONDE ?

alors dans ton fichier /etc/hosts remplace les 2 premieres lignes par celle la :

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 localhost Max

évidement ,dans le fichier /etc/hostname, tu dois avoir cela

ensuite ton smb.conf de base :
1/ il manque des info, je vais te mettre mon smb.conf (le temps de booter sur la 14.04)
2/ purée a chaque fois tu change de nom de workgroup, pourquoi ???? le principe du workgroup est que tout tes pc soit dans le même workgroup et après on y touche plus, sinon bonjour le petit bordel

Enfin pour terminer, "te logguer en tant que root" ????? mais pour quoi faire, c'est une très très mauvaise habitude/façon de faire et cela peut etre tres dangereux (comment pété un ubuntu en 2 centièmes de secondes roll ) la commande sudo est justement faites pour éviter d’être connecte en root

PS : au fait sur ton mac (j'y connais pas grand chose) il y a peut etre aussi un pare feu a configurer, peut être aussi samba ou les partages reseau a configurer.... creuser aussi de ce coté la avant de dire que cela vient d'ubuntu (oui je sais tu l'as pas encore dit, mais le raccourci serait facile)

smb.conf d'une 14.04, attention : la definition du partage est un peu spéciale car adaptée a mon besoin

Oui salut, donc pour le host c'était bon dès la dernière fois, j'avais juste eu à corriger hostname.
J'avais pas fait gaffe au workgroup, parce que rien n'a jamais marché.
Je vais essayer ça :

Est-ce que je suis obligé de créer le même user sur mon pc que celui qui est configuré dans le mac, ou bien l'ouverture à tout le monde permet de l'éviter ?

oui il faut redemmarer smbd a chaque modif du .conf
moi j'aurais forcé un user comme pour mon exemple, pour l'acces cela depent en tant que qui on se connecte (forcer un user est bien dans ce sens) et des droits sur le partage (donc le dossier de partage)...tu as dit que le dossier appartenait a ton user, mieux vaudrait donc forcer ce user....et qui plus y a aussi le fait que les fichier appartienne a root dans un dossier t'appartenant, il faut corriger tout cela et aussi creusé la piste du coté du mac ?
une fois que cela aura été fait re test, et si cela fonctionne toujours pas, que reponds

sudo smbtree
testparm

quel que chose a changer dans ta conf ???

check le smb.conf, si les service sont en marche (au besoin re demarre-les apres chaque modifs), et test aussi ta conf de partage a coup de

testparm
sudo smbtree
sudo iptables -L

J'avais bien ouvert les ports concernés par samba avec ufw, mais je vois rien ici qui soit en rapport.
C'est infernal, je ne fais que rebondir de concept en concept, et chacun est d'une horrible complexité ! J'ai l'impression d'être complètement débile, et de me confronter à un monde inhumain. PFFF

c'est clair que samba (et ubuntu) a beaucoup evolué, ce qui est parfaitement fonctionnel sur une 12.04 LTS ne l'est plus sur une 14.04 LTS ...

Oui, et aussi :
quand tout s'installe automatiquement => bonheur total
quand un périphérique ou un service ne s'est pas établi de lui-même => infernal cauchemar

Voilà pourquoi je me lance de moins en moins dans des installations Linux, avec tous les regrets que ça engendre. Pourtant, je suis dans un domaine où je peux convertir une large population !

Il me semble que Linux ne pourra (toujours) pas descendre dans la population si aucun effort n'est fait pour en simplifier la structure et les paramètres.
Les geeks qui pondent ces systèmes ne prennent pas assez en compte les réelles capacités, les réels besoins du commun des mortels.
Il y a des gens cultivés, intelligents, vifs, qui voudraient sortir du carcan windows, et ils ne peuvent pas parce que le côté informatique pur a été poussé à fond ! (en suis-je ?)

Comment expliquer, même à un esprit brillant, qu'on va passer 3 semaines sur une installation d'imprimante à 47 €, avec l'appui des forums, avec des flashes de firmware, des compilations de pilotes, la composition de commandes complexes et de leurs options innombrables, l'établissement de scripts ?!
Si la personne est logique, elle répondra qu'elle ne veut pas vivre ça, qu'elle trouvera une solution de contournement, parce que ça ne l'intéresse pas, et parce que son cerveau n'est pas prédisposé à manier tant de données abstraites interdépendantes, et que c'est réservé à une certaine tranche de population qui a la passion et les capacités associées, de l'informatique pure...et elle aura raison !

On retournera sous windows, on cliquera sur setup.exe, et l'imprimante sera installée !
Quel dommage !

il ne faut pas le prendre comme cela...

perso, j'ai commencé linux il y a 15 ans, quand j'y repense que de chemin parcourru, que de progres réalisé... alors certes, tous n'est pas rose, mais tous n'est pas de la faute d'ubuntu non plus : entre les fabricant de peripheriques qui ne joue pas le jeux du libre, ben libre a tous de les boycoté et de devenir des consomateurs intéligents.... entre l'utilisateur qui veut la dernière version (encore bien jeune), ben libre a lui de tourner sur une version plus ancienne, bien éprouvé et bien documentée...entre les choix fait par ceux qui font les distribs de ne pas (trop) incures de code proprietaires, libre a nous de choisir une autre distrib/os

Ps : professionnellement, je vais commencer d'ici une quinzaine de jours a qualifier Trusty.... au tant dire que je compte bien revenir ici avec la solution qui existe très certainement, mais qu'il reste a trouver
