Revenir sur un ancien noyau es-ce possible ?
Bonjour,
Je suis actuellement sur la version "3.2.0-58-generic" du noyau de Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS x64.
Je voudrais savoir si il est possible de revenir sur le noyau "3.2.0-34-generic" des mises à niveaux ?
Si oui comment procéder ?

Salut,
quand tu démarres, tu choisis le kernel que tu veux quand il apparaît dans Grub (il faut peut-être passer par Options avancées si la liste des kernels n'apparaît pas). Limitation: ne s'affichent que les kernels encore enregistrés.
Tu vérifies les kernels présents avec
ls /boot

Au démarrage de mon PC, Grub m'affiche toujours la dernière version mise à niveau !

Essaies ceci :
sudo apt-get install linux-image-3.2.0-34-generic
Note: Je n'ai pas vérifié si ce noyau est réellement disponible dans les dépôts, je ne suis pas sous Ubuntu en ce moment.

Mais hélas durant l'installation, des messages d'erreurs s'affichent :

J'ai redémarre, au démarrage j'ai sélectionné "Previous Linux version"
Puis dans la liste, j'ai choisi "3.2.0-53-generic".
ça a marcher impec.
Finalement je ne pense pas qu'il était utile de réinstallé le noyau.

Bonjour.
je n'arrive pas à créer une nouvelle discussion donc je poste ici ma remarque qui ,porte à la fois sur le noyau et sur la carte graphique.
J'utilise Kubuntu 14.04 sur un portable ASUS F551MA (vendu sans système d'exploitation) avec un processeur Intel intégrant ValleyView gen 7 pour la carte graphique.
J'ai téléchargé les pilotes d'Intel pour la carte graphique, je les ai installés mais ça ne marche pas : au boot écran noir, la Konsole est inaccessible par Alt+F1. Je dois booter sur une clé Kubuntu 13.10 ou passer par le mode Recovery.
Tout fonctionnait sous la version 13.10 avant la upgrade du système.
En passant. par le menu du mode Recovery j'ai remarqué qu'en bootant "normalement"
sur le noyau 3.13.0-27 (celui de l'installation) j'avais l'écran noir
sur le noyau précédent 3.11.0-22 tout fonctionnait parfaitement.
Je ne suis pas capable d'expliquer mais il me semble bien que c'est donc le nouveau noyau 3.13.0-27 qui pose problème avec la carte graphique.
Je cherchais depuis 8 jours sur toutes les pages et tous les forum : tous mes autres essais pour réparer l'affichage ont été des échecs.
Sans doute faudrait-il poster le message sur le forum carte graphique mais je ne parviens pas à créer une nouvelle discussion, alors, je saute sur ..... le noyau.
