problème grub après install hardy

bonsoir  à tous voilà,avant je possédait vista en dualboot avec ubuntu 7.10 et j'avais installer grub dans la partition linux,donc mon ordi démarrait avec le soft GAG qui était inscrit dans le mbr.

Tout à l'heure j'ai voulu installer hardy j'ai donc suivit le tuto suivant:

J'ai effacer la partiton de mon ancienne version d'ubuntu ainsi que le swap
j'ai recrée une parti ext 3 pour ubuntu et une parti swap (comme le tuto)
Ensuite j'ai installer ubuntu dans la partition ext3 avec l'outils de partitionnement de l'installer j'ai crée un point de montage / et à la fin de l'installer j'ai choisi d'installer grub (outils d'amorçage) dans la partition ext3 d'ubuntu

maintenant lorsque je choisis ubuntu via GAG au démarrage voici ce que je trouve:(

"Minimal bash - like editing is supported.

Voilà si quelqu'un pourrait m'éclairer sa serait sympa merci

Peux-tu lister le résultat de :
sudo fdisk -l depuis le livecd
ainsi que le fichier menu.lst

Il suffit de démarrer en LiveCd et de reinstaller le boot loader de grub :
sudo grub  -->grub>
là tu tapes :
find /boot/grub/menu.lst   devrait donner  (hd0,5)
la tu tapes :
root (hd0,5)
puis
setup (hd0)
et enfin
quit

Tu devrais trouver tes menus ubuntu et windows. Attention il faut choisir le 2eme Vista (le premier lance le soft de Dell Utilities)
Je te conseille de modifier ainsi ton menu.lst pour la partie Windows, ce sera + clair.
