[Résolu]. Windows7 pas dans le grub.
Bonjour,
Après pas mal de difficultés et avec l'aide de la communauté, j'ai installé proprement W7 et xubuntu.
Je n'en suis pas à ma 1ère install, mais je n'avais pas encore rencontré ce problème (souvant abordé dans le forum), à savoir : W7 pas affiché dans le grub de démarrage. Je reste sans solution, malgré la commnde ci-dessous.

essaye boot repair
si ça fonctionne pas poste le retour de
sudo fdisk -l
LinuxMint18.1 + Mate / je regrette toujours la 10.04

A partir de 3 Dvd de bonne source ..., mais pas des origines énumérées. Soit Win 7 Pro 32bits + Win 7 SP1 + Loader.
J'ai toujours utilisé ces 3 Dvd pour des install en dual sur différents PC sans problème. J'utilise W7 très rarement (lorsque pas possible ubuntu). Si accès difficile par le grub, quelle autre solution pour ouvrir W7 ?

Je déteste cette procédure - parce que d'habitude Grub fait bien mieux l'affaire que le gestionnaire de boot de Windows - mais dans le cas présent, tu peux essayer cette procédure : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/comme … ec_bootmgr
Avec cette dernière procédure, plus de souci pour démarrer Win7 puisque c'est le gestionnaire de démarrage de Win7 qui sera à la manœuvre : s'il doit y avoir quelque difficulté, c'est plutôt pour démarrer Ubuntu.

bizarre que boot repair ai pas réussi
franchement je te conseille de réinstaller au propre:
Windows en 1er et Ubuntu en 2ème
sinon tu peux aussi essayer en bootant sur l'iso de boot repair

J'avais installé proprement et à 2 reprises W7 puis Xubuntu avec le même problème de Grub.
Boot-repair n'y change rien.

arrive tu à installer que 7 et le faire fonctionner ?
ton 7 a crée 2 partitions, la première doit etre pour les récupérations, perso je préfèrerais une seule partition Windows mais je sais pas si c'est possible avec 7
as tu essayé de réparer le démarrage de win en bootant sur le cd ?

Installation et fonctionnement W7 seul = ok. Pas le choix pour l'install sur ce PC "2 partitions".
Réparation avec DVD W7 : réponse tout est ok.
Je rejoindrais l'avis de "malbo", le PC est vraisemblablement tatoué, d'où les dysfonctionnements.

Jeanjd63 m'a donné la solution.
Tu modifies le fichier 40_custom :
sudo gedit /etc/grub.d/40_custom
qui devrait ressembler à ceci :

Tu rebootes et tu devrais avoir le choix de 2 windows. Tu tentes chacun d'eux et si l'un des 2 fonctionne, tu remodifies le fichier /etc/grub.d/40_custom (comme ci-dessus) en supprimant le mauvais paragraphe.
Tu sauves et tu revalides le tout par :
sudo update-grub

C'est bien étrange. Pourrais-tu passer cette commande dans un terminal :
sudo os-prober
et poster le résultat obtenu.
Si Windows 7 n'est pas présent dans ce résultat, c'est que le souci est dû à os-prober lui même (sachant que quand on passe la commande "sudo update-grub", elle implique un lancement automatique de os-prober suivi d'une mise à jour de grub.cfg, le fichier de configuration Grub). D'autant que je viens de voir dans la doc :
NB: il semblerait que os-prober ait encore quelques problèmes avec le RAID

Il reste peut-être des traces de RAID dans ton disque dur qui font que la détection de Win7 par os-prober ne fonctionne pas.

Effectivement, j'ai eu quelques problèmes avec le RAID. Maintenant tout est ok "je suis resté en Wi-Fi".

Tu as toujours des traces de RAID qui sont la cause du non-fonctionnement de os-prober. Tu peux appliquer la solution détaillée dans le lien suivant par PatHybulaire, qui lui a permis d'obtenir une détection correcte de Windows 7 et une entrée pour Windows 7 dans le menu Grub : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … 1#p3690731

Voila ce que cela donne maintenant. Comme avant, W7 est dans le Grub et j'ai toujours affiché le choix de lancer Xubuntu ou W7.
Je me retrouve maintenant avec un dossier "dmraid.pdc" dans le home. Comment l'en sortir ?

Dans la partie "sda3/boot/grub/grub.cfg" du Boot-Info, on voit :

Ce qui signifie que os-prober n'a pas trouvé d'autres OS dans l'ordi, alors même qu'on peut voir dans la partie "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION " :

Je suppose que tu n'as pas appliqué complètement ce qui était décrit dans le post de PatHybulaire à savoir que tu n'as pas dû passer la commande :
sudo update-grub
Si c'est la cas, peux-tu passer cette commande et vérifier après cela que ton fichier /boot/grub/grub.cfg contient bien une une partie "30_os-prober" qui n'est pas vide.

Comment je sors de home le dossier dmraid.pdc comprenant les 3 fichiers : sda.dat - sda.offset et sda.size

Pour supprimer ce dossier, tu peux passer la commande :
gksudo nautilus
pour lancer le gestionnaire de fichiers avec pouvoir administrateur. Et là tu peux naviguer jusqu'au dossier home/dan/dmraid.pdc et le supprimer.

En principe, pour démarrer sur Windows 7 en passant par le menu Grub, tu devrais utiliser l'entrée Windows 7 trouvée sur /dev/sda1 puisque /dev/sda1 est une partition bootable. Ce qui ne veut pas dire que l'entrée trouvée sur /dev/sda2 ne peut pas fonctionner mais le fonctionnement normal, c'est de démarrer Windows 7 en passant par la partition bootable /dev/sda1.
A présent que tu as un fonctionnement correct de os-prober qui détecte bien Windows 7, tu pourrais supprimer les lignes que tu as créées dans le fichier /etc/grub.d/40_custom et qu'on peut voir dans cet extrait du Boot-Info du post #19 :
