Carte son "SoundMax ADI1888" j'ai du son sur 1 HP uniquement !

Bonjour,

Suite à une panne de ma carte mère, j'ai du m'en racheter une autre.
Voici ma nouvelle carte mère :
Asus P5P800 SE avec un chipset audio : SoundMax ADI1888
J'ai installé kubuntu breezy 5.10, et au démarrage j'ai bien du son, mais uniquement sur un haut parleur..
Si je lance xmms avec le plugin de sortie par default ( OSS ), je suis obligé de killer les 3 artd sinon xmms me dit que ma carte son est mal configuré.
Une fois les artd killé, xmms fonctionne en OSS !! bizarre !!
Je suis un peu perdu car dans la liste des cartes son qui posent problèmes, la mienne n'y est pas.
Pouvez vous m'aider à résoudre ce problème, car je joue sous linux avec cedega, et il faut absolument que le son fonctionne parfaitement.
Il y a aussi une chose que je ne comprends pas, pour quoi cedega ( emulateur de jeux windows sous linux ) me fait un test de son avec ALSA et OSS ?
Est il possible de fonctionner uniquement avec ALSA sans que cela ne pose problème avec mon émulateur, ou faut il avoir les deux ?

J'ai trouvé un driver linux mais je n'arrive pas à l'installer !!!

J'ai installé une carte son SB live que j'avais puis compilé les derniers drivers alsa 1.0.1.0 et c'est bon ca marche nikel !!
