[Résolu] Quel grub au lancement ?

Bonjour
je viens d'installer Hardy sur ma partition /dev/sda7
J'ai Gutsy sur une autre partition /dev/sda3
Je partage le /home et la zone de swap.

Au redémarrage j'ai toujours la liste des systèmes disponibles est la même qu'avant : aucune trace de la 8.04
Je suppose que cela veut dire que c'est le grub précédent qui prend la main au démarrage.

J'ai verifié dans ma partition Hardy le fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst contient bien tout ce que je voudrais avoir comme choix au démarrage 8.04, 7.10, les anciennes partitions Windows

Comment faire pour que ce soit ce grub là qui démarre ?

Si tu est sur du grub, tu doit le mettre dans le mbr du dique dur. (bizzare que l'install de hardy ne l'ai pas fait)

grub
root(hd0,6)
setup(hd0)
quit

Si jamais au redémarrage ça ne marche pas, tu pourra restorer l'ancien grub (celui de gutsy) en faisant

grub
root (hd0,2)
setup (hd0)
quit

Démarre Gutsy, et, en Terminal :
sudo update-grub

ça va chercher les différents systèmes présents sur le disque et modifier le menu.lst en conséquence.
Petit conseil : sauvegarde le menu.lst actuel (et device.map), ça peut servir

J'ai mis en pratique la manip de geenux et ça marche .... presque
Le menu.lst créé par l'installeur de Hardy identifie les partitions en (hd2,x)
si je change la ligne au boot en (hd0,x) ça marche
Je vais donc changer hd2 en hd0 dans le menu.lst et tout devrait rentrer dans l'ordre
Il y a des lignes bizarres (pour moi !) dans le menu.lst du genre "map hd0 hd2" qui expliquent peut être le mélange

Tu peut poster ton menu.lst actuel s'il te plait. Du coup j'ai du mal à m'y repérer moi...

Salut

change cette ligne aussi  (hd0,6)

# groot=(hd2,6)

pour info, lors d'une maj de noyau ou d'un update-grub
cette ligne est utilisé.
En laissant telle quelle tu te retrouveras de nouveau
avec (hd2,6) et grub erreur
