[RESOLU] Windows 8 / Ubuntu 14.04 Impossible ! Rapport boot-repair
Bonjour à vous tous et milles merci à cette communauté qui m'à permis de passer sur ubuntu en toute confiance il y à de ça plusieurs années maintenant !
Je viens vers vous suite à l’acquisition d'un nouveau notebook ASUS R510C avec bien entendu windows 8 de pré installé.
J'ai décidé d'y installer directement ubuntu en dual boot et à ma grande surprise, pour faire cela sur un pc "récent" vive les galères (EFI, secure boot...).
Je m'explique, une fois le bios parametrer comme il faut pour booter sur ma clé usb d’installation Ubuntu 14.04 et une fois son installation terminé, le pc ne boot que sur windows.
Cela fait 2 jours que je parcours des forums (beaucoups de post sont consacrés à ce problème) dont le votre pour trouver une solution en suivant des tutos (repair boot, easy bcd...), mais rien n'y fait, je doit vraiment mal faire quelque chose.
Merci d'avance pour vos réponse, et si un expert des fichiers boot-info passe par là et peut me décrypter tous ça sa serait sympa :

De retour vers vous pour une info importante, mon installation de ubuntu par la clé USB live a été faite en mode legacy (bios classique), et apparemment il aurait fallu la faire en mode efi.
Le problème est que je n'est réussi à booter sur la clé USB qu'en mode legacy, une fois le mode efi parametré dans le bios, une seule option est disponible pour booter : Windows loader (plus possible par CD ni clé USB).
Si vous pouvez m'aider a paramétrer mon bios pour pouvoir effectuer l'installation d'ubuntu en mode efi se serait vraiment cool.
Je posterai des images de mon bios dans la soirée.

Ta machine n'est pas démarrée en UEFI. c'est là dans le rapport.

Dans le Bios section Boot.
Si tu mets ==> Launch csm sur "enable" , est ce que tu peux démarrer ta session live en UEFI ?.
Il me semble avoir lu qu'on active le mode UEFI comme çà sur certaines machines ...

J'ai découvert Ubuntu avec la 07.10.... Et alors?!... Depuis je regarde de temps en temps si Windows marche toujours....

Salut badu89 et merci pour ton retour, quand je met launch csm sur enable je peut booter sur ma clé usb ou même un DVD alors que si il est sur disable un seul choix s'affiche : windows boot loader.
Par contre en mettant launch csm sur enable, quand je boot sur ma clé (echap au démarrage ==> choix de ma clé usb) la session live s'ouvre sur une fenêtre violette d'ubuntu avec les icônes en bas et si j'ai bien compris il faudrait avoir une fenêtre noir type grub avec les choix session live, installer ubuntu... Pour que la session live démarre en UEFI.
Donc pour te répondre, une fois cette option sur enable je n'arrive pas a démarrer la session live en UEFI.
Par ailleurs et en comparaison d'autre bios qu' asus utilise pour ses notebook, je n'est pas pour le choix des boot (echap au démarrage avec launch csm enable) UEFI d'afficher comme par exemple :
choix 1 : USB kingston
Choix 2 : UEFI USB kingston
Voilà voilà si cela peut avancer a régler mon problème ...

Bonjour.
Par ailleurs et en comparaison d'autre bios qu' asus utilise pour ses notebook, je n'est pas pour le choix des boot (echap au démarrage avec launch csm enable) UEFI d'afficher comme par exemple :
choix 1 : USB kingston
Choix 2 : UEFI USB kingston
OK.
Et en activant " Fast boot " dans l'onglet " Boot " de ton Bios, tu as quoi comme choix au démarrage en utilisant soit Échap soit une touche fonction, qui devrait être indiquée en bas de l'écran au démarrage de la machine.
J'ai ce menu ( F8) dans une machine desktop avec une CM Asus . Çà me permet de choisir le périphérique au démarrage sans avoir à entrer dans le Bios.Mais ma machine n'est pas en UEFI, donc...

Re babdu89, j'ai réglé mon problème, il venait de ma clé usb (Verbatim USB 3.0).
Je m'en suis rendu compte en voulant mettre à jour mon bios, j'ai utilisé une autre clé usb (2.0) pour y mettre la mise à jour, et dans mon bios qui été configuré en EFI, avant de lancer "EASY FLASH" j'ai repéré dans l'onglet BOOT, qu'une deuxième option de boot été présente : UEFI : USB ...
J'ai quand même mis à jour mon bios et ensuite créer l'USB live d'unbuntu sur cette clé USB et elle s'est bien booté en EFI, j'ai procédé à l'installation et comme par magie au démarrage GRUB2 été bien la me proposant UBUNTU et Windows loader !!!
Par contre faudrait il que je fasse un nouveau post pour cette question, mais serait il possible que le choix de lancement d'ubuntu se fasse par le loader de windows (à la façon EasyBCD) et non par Grub 2 ?
Merci encore pour ta tentative d'aide, maintenant je dois m'occuper du Wifi car ubuntu ne me le détecte pas !
