Prolème d'instalation d'un deuxième ecran

Bonjour a tous, j'ai un ordinateur portable Medion avec ubuntu 8.10

Je désire mettre un ecran de bureau LCD en deuxième ecran.

J'ai commencé par sauvegarder mon "xorg.conf"  au cas ou il y est un problème...

J'ai installé le paquet "xrandr." 

Je n'arrive pas a configure "xorg.conf"

Je vous join quelque info suplementaire:
