Voila mon soucis, sous gusty, mon wifi marcher un pec, et depuis le passage sous Hardy, impossible de me connecter. Je voudrai me connecter au réseaux "Tarzan" (identification en wap).
L'utilitaire est bien régler en mode "itinérant". N'arrivant pas à me logger, j'ai télécharger wifi-radar. Il détecte bien les réseaux present, mais il m'indique "Connected to None (IP address :127.0.0.1)". Je ne peut pas deconnecter, ni editer le profil de "TARZAN" !!!
Modifier le fichier /etc/wifi-radar.conf pour mettre le paramètre : "commit-required = True" ne donne rien...

J'ai la même carte WiFi que toi ( donc, ne désespère pas )
et j'ai eu la même réponse lorsque je faisais un iwconfig

Maintentant que ca fonctionne, j'ai

Ton problème, selon moi, n'est pas grave. (Pas de driver à télécharger et à installer)
Selon moi, "unassociated" signifie que le bouton WiFi est allumé
(si la LED était éteinte et que tu fais un iwconfig, le message devrait être différent)
Le problème, selon moi, est surtout lié au fait que ESSID est vide.
Ce qui signifie qu'il ne connaît pas le nom du réseau ...
Solution (simple). Allez dans Système > Administration > Réseau et introduire manuellement les bonnes valeurs, à savoir :
- le nom du réseau WiFi
- la clé WEP ( qui doit être assez courte et la même que celle du routeur )
Et comme adresse IP, personnellement, je préfère que ce soit le routeur qui l'attribue (donc DHCP)
NB : l'adresse IP de la carte Wifi et celle de ta carte filiaire doivent être différentes ...
