[Résolu] Blocage à l'installation de la 14.04

Bonjour,

j'ai créé un live usb d'ubuntu 14.04 et donc d'installer tout ça sur mon ordi en dualboot avec win8 fraichement réinstallé.
J'ai partitionné 300go après mes 2 partitions ntfs pour installer ubuntu. Je lance sans problème l'installation via le live usb.
Au moment de cliquer sur "suivant" dans la fenêtre où l'installation me propose de télécharger les mises à jours et les pilotes
proprio mp3 flash, ça bloque....Pourtant, j'avais déjà installé ubuntu 12.04 sur mon ordinateur auparavant (j'ai un asus n550jk). Donc un peu
bizarre....

Au lieu de lancer l'installation, sélectionne "Essayer Ubuntu" et fais un Boot-Info en suivant cette procédure simplifiée : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p16690381
Tu posteras l'URL du Boot-Info dans ta réponse. J'espère voir ce qui peut bloquer dans ce Boot-Info.

J'avais créer une partition de 300go pour installer ubuntu à côté de windows. Je l'ai effacé depuis hier pour faire des sauvegardes d'un DD HS. Donc tout est normal si tu vois que 2 partitions ntfs, j'avais prévu là place avant pour ubuntu.

Le modèle du portable est Asus N550JK-CM141H. Je veux garder le dualboot car ça me dépanne toujours un peu en attendant d'être autonome sous linux.

Il reste des traces de l'ancien partitionnement GPT qui existait sur le disque sda (on le voit dans cet ancien post). C'est la raison de ce qu'on peut voir dans le Boot-Info :

Warning: /dev/sda contains GPT signatures, indicating that it has a GPT table.
However, it does not have a valid fake msdos partition table, as it should.
Perhaps it was corrupted -- possibly by a program that doesn't understand GPT
partition tables.  Or perhaps you deleted the GPT table, and are now using an

Pour te répondre, j'ai besoin déjà de savoir comment l’ancien partitionnement GPT a été remplacé par un partitionnement MSDOS. As-tu utilisé un outil de partitionnement (si oui lequel ?) pour faire cela ou bien est-ce que c'est l'installateur de Windows 8 - "fraîchement réinstallé" d'après ton post #1 - qui a créé automatiquement ce partitionnement ?

C'est moi qui est créé les partitions au moment de l'installation :
- 200 go pour win8
- 400 go ntfs pour les sauvegardes et le pont entre win et linux
- 400 go réservé pour ubuntu le temps que tu m'aides à débloquer le problème.

* je veux dire que l'ancienne table de partition GPT n'a pas été totalement effacée.

EDIT : au temps pour moi. Excuse-moi d'avoir douté de ton installateur Windows 8. Je viens de faire la manip et effectivement l'installateur de Windows 8.1 est buggé.
Voici la manip faite avec VMware Player :
La machine virtuelle est configurée en mode non-EFI. J'ai un disque dur virtuel ayant un partitionnement GPT. Je démarre sur le CD virtuel de Windows 8.1 (*). Je supprime toutes les partitions existantes et j'obtiens ceci :

Avec la possibilité de cliquer sur "Nouveau" qui apparaît après que j'ai supprimé ma dernière partition et que tout l'espace a été non-alloué.
Je clique donc sur "Nouveau" et j'accepte la proposition qui m'est faite par l’installateur de créer lui-même les partitions. j'obtiens ça :

Je fais l'installation qui fonctionne bien.
Après l'installation, je fais un Boot-Info depuis une session live de Ubuntu 14.04.1 et j'obtiens la même mention que toi dans le Boot-Info :

En conclusion de la manip : cette petite peste d'installateur Windows 8.1 est capable d'engendrer ce monstrueux partitionnement. Je tiens le coupable. EDIT le 8 sept 2014 : j'ai refait la manip avec une install toute neuve pour être sûr de mon coup (voir post #18) et je confirme que l’installateur de Windows 8.1 est bien merdique comme je l'ai indiqué.
Petite enquête pour rechercher les cas sur le forum de préinstallés Windows 8 qui ont mal tourné (avec les traces de GPT) :

Entre l'uefi et ça....Franchement ils abusent (microsoft comme constructeur). Pas moyen de gérer son ordinateur en toute indépendance !
En gros, la prochaine fois, je fais des partitions avec gparted et ça devrait régler le problème ?

Si mes souvenirs sont bons, j'ai fais comme toi dans le post 12, car je voulais diminuer la taille de la partition système qui était à l'origine de 300 ou 400go.

- si tu dois diminuer la taille de la partition Windows, tu le fais toujours depuis une session de Windows lui-même comme expliqué dans la doc : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/repartitionne … _windows_8
- à part ça, tu retouches le partitionnement des autres partitions seulement depuis une session live de Ubuntu avec Gparted.
- Si tu dois changer de type de partitionnement, tu utilises Gparted pour créer une nouvelle table de partition.

Je squatte dans ce fil pour mentionner la manip de vérification que j'ai faite suite au post #12. J'ai fait une installation toute neuve de Windows 8.1 en mode EFI, puis j'ai supprimé toutes les partitions et fais une installation de Windows 8.1 en mode non-EFI. Je confirme la cata du post #12 avec les traces de GPT.

État de départ : installation toute neuve de Windows 8.1 en mode EFI sur partitionnement GPT. Je lance l'installateur de Windows 8.1 en mode non-EFI :

Suppression de toutes les partitions :

Après avoir cliqué sur "Nouveau", je fais ce qu'il faut pour que l'installateur fasse le partitionnement automatique à sa sauce et l'install démarre :

Mise en évidence que l'install est pourrie : depuis une session live de Ubuntu 14.04.1, lancement de Gparted :

Après avoir cliqué sur "No", on va avoir confirmation du gros malaise.

EDIT : j'ai pu vérifier ultérieurement que le DVD d'install de Win 8.1 possède bien tout ce qu'il faut pour faire correctement le travail : il faut sélectionner "Réparer l'ordinateur" > Dépannage >  Options avancées > Invite de commande et ensuite mettre en pratique ce qui est décrit au début de ce post : http://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/Hardware/M … 3233_1.htm
à savoir :
diskpart
list disk (on repère le numéro du disque dur)
select disk n (n étant à remplacer par ce numéro)
clean
convert mbr
exit
Après ça, on peut relancer l'install et faire les choix que j'ai détaillés plus haut en images : on obtient au bout du compte une installation de Windows 8.1 en mode non-EFI qui n'a pas de trace de GPT. En somme, il est indispensable de créer la nouvelle table de partition MBR (on dit aussi "MSDOS") au lieu de GPT et c'est diskpart qui s'en charge (avec la commande "convert mbr").
