Salut Malbo,
J'ai déjà passé beaucoup de temps sur cette affaire ( toi aussi et je t'en remercie.Je serais toujours à temps de faire cette expérience .
Si je ne t'avais pas rajouté cette question quelle aurait été ta réponse sur la base du résumé et des Boot Infos que je t'ai proposé
Ce qui me préoccupe beaucoup c'est aussi le message d'erreur du Sudo apt-get update : je fais des modifications qui ont l'air d'etre enregistrées, mais je ne peux pas mettre à jour grub et donc elles ne doivent servir à rien . Tu ne m'as jamais répondu sur ce sujet ??

Pour mettre à jour Grub, cela se fait depuis une session du Ubuntu installé (et non pas depuis une session live) et ce n'est pas la commande "sudo apt-get update" qui doit être utilisée mais la commande :
sudo update-grub

En fait, je ne sais pas pourquoi tu n'as pas réussi à obtenir le démarrage par défaut sur le menu de Grub. Je t'ai indiqué les actions que je croyais suffisantes pour atteindre ce but mais comme ça ne fonctionne pas, je suis sec et je ne sais pas quoi te proposer.

Je me suis trompé en écrivant le post (j'utilise mon ordinateur ancien pour envoyer les posts pour avoir un clavier français) : c'est bien de sudo update-grub dont je voulais parler . Pour la session ubuntu installé, je n'avais pas compris.

Actualisation de W, qui m'a laissé les partitions en l'état avec Ubuntu
et dans Trusty retour à la situation initiale en remettant les Microsoft/Boot et EFI/Boot avec la formulation d'origine des lignes corrigées

Ta situation semble complexe.
As-tu fais l'essai suivant Booter...
Disons que cela met en route windows.
et dans la foulée, sans rien modifier arrêter windows et remettre en route.
Disons que cela ne mettrait plus automatiquement en route windows.

Salut Bougron,
Essai non concluant, merci Quand même
en l'état actuel je démarre toujours sur W8.1 quelle que soit la méthode, et je commence à désespérer.
Il est tard et la journée a été longue : demain il fera jour e"t je vais réfléchir à réinstaller totalement Windows avec les CD de restauration, puis je referai les procédures proposées par malbo calmement, en analysant chaque fois les résultats, maintenant que j'ai compris, au moins en partie,ce que je fais et pourquoi je le fais
Avec toutes les modifs que j'ai faites et défaites, mes dossiers de boot ne sont plus fiables, j'en ai peur.
En attendant, je suis preneur de toutes les idées et je reviendrai de toutes façons sur le forum dés que j'aurai commencé une éventuelle nouvelle démarche , pour en discuter avec Malbo,, toi et ceux qui voudraient bien se joindre à la discussion

Piste idiote, Comme tu as beaucoup déplacé le fichier shimx64.efi au moins à deux endroits et que tu l'as renommé bootx64.efi
vérifies que ces 3 fichiers sont bien de la même taille en cas de fausse manip.
Cependant à ta place j'utiliserais super grub2 pour voir si je suis encore capable de booter avec shimx64.
car si c'est devenu impossible pour une raison ou une autre, le bios prend la solution de secours donc Windows.

Attention il faut absolument un cdrom pour booter
Ajout. Cependant comme tu as déjà booté avec shimx64 et que personne ne voit ce qui a changé, tu peux faire la solution 'buldozer'

De mémoire, J'avais du prendre un CD réinscriptible, Mais un DVD réinscriptible fait aussi l'affaire.
Après, tu bootes.
Le but est d'arriver à ce qu'il t'affiche tout ce qui semble bootable.
Dans mon cas, il avait affiché une quinzaine de fichiers, Pas mal n'étaient pas bootables.
4 ou 5 bootaient mais le boot se plantait et 2 avaient bien fonctionné.

La bonne nouvelle c'est que je sais que je peux lancer Ubuntu
La moins bonne c'est que la procédure est lourde, plus que celle utilisable immédiatement après l'installation qui était déjà moins simple que l'interface de Grub

j'ai suivi tes conseils, téléchargé super Disk Grub2 version EFI
Pour pouvoir le lancer j'ai du désactiver Secure Boot
Il n'a pas voulu accepter le changement de langue
puis j'ai lancé chaque système de la liste de Every Things + pour examiner le résultat : dès que j'ai pu lancer ubuntu , suite au conseil de Malbo, j'ai exécuté la commande sudo update-grub . Je me suis rendu compte beaucoup +tard que cela avait modifié l'emplacement des systèmes (de hd0 avant à hd1 après)

Par contre l'update a modifié l'emplacement des différents systèmes de hd0 à hd1 cf la liste actuelle dans la partie adressée à Bougron??? Explications à ta connaissance ???

On sait au moins que ubuntu est bien installé et qu'il est inutile de refaire une installation de A à Z qui de toute façon aurait pu ne rien donner de plus
Cette solution n'est que temporaire.
Tu as parlé de HD0 et maintenant de HD1....
Je ne vois pas trop le problème.
Mais comme maintenant tu peux booter ubuntu, Pour un récapitulatif complet, peux-tu donner
sudo blkid -o list
pg /boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu/grub.cfg (Je ne sais pas lequel des deux est présent)
pg /boot/grub/grub.cfg (Je ne sais pas lequel des deux est présent)

Si dans ce résultat, Malbo voit la bonne solution c'est préférable au bulldozer.

Si je comprends bien il n' y a pas trace de Ubuntu ???
En outre , dans les systémes Ubuntu accessibles dans les résultats de SDGrub2 il n'y a que 2 fichiers grubx64 : ne seraient pas ceux là avec lesquels il faut « tromper W8.1 », en les plaçant dans EFI/Microsot/Boot à la place de bootmgfw.efi au lieu de shimx64.efi ??

qui doit contenir 3 lignes de ce style

Malbo va devoir confirmer car il y a eu pas mal de modifs et je peux dérailler
Voici le scenario normal d'un boot efi
1) Bios positionné sur l'optionb EFI
2) Un Os lui dit de prendre un fichier spécfuifique pour booter, Il va booter dessus
sinon, Il propose la liste des fichiers possibles
3) windows propose /boot/efi/microsoft/bootmgfw.efi
ubuntu propose /boot/efi/ubuntu/shimx64.efi
==> tu te souviens que ce fichier on l'a bien trituré
4)Donc lorsqu'on choisit de booter avec ce fichier pour lancer ubuntu, ce programme de boot se pose la question de savoir où peut bien être localisé ubuntu
Pour cela, il veut lire ce fameux fichier de 3 lignes qui va le renseigner.
et lancer ubuntu
Dans notre cas particulier, sauf siu on déraille encore, On ne trouve pas ce fichier de treois lignes, donc on arrete le boot et on redonne la main au bios.
5) Le bios a de nouveau la main, Il sait que le premier boot n'a pas marché.
Il passe la main la main au second qui est dans l'ordre indiqué. Dans notre cas c'est windows
PS, Cherches encore un peu ce fichier,
Si tu ne le trouves pas, c'est pas grave, il est facile a faire, Mais, Je m'absente pour le repas familial.
Mais j'ai tout ce qu'il faut pour le fabriquer.

Démarre une session de ton Ubuntu installé sur le disque dur (en passant par Super Grub2 Disk si j'ai bien compris) et passe la commande suivante :
sudo efibootmgr -v
On devrait retrouver ce que tu as collé en bas du post #41 (pas de trace de Ubuntu)
Ensuite, passe la commande de réinstallation de Grub : elle devrait recréer l'entrée pour Ubuntu dans l'UEFI :
sudo grub-install
Pour vérifier la chose, tu repasses la commande initiale :
sudo efibootmgr -v
Tu devrais retrouver une entrée pour Ubuntu dans le résultat.
Dans ta réponse, colle le tout (les 3 commandes et leur résultat) comme ça on pourra bien voir ce qui s'est passé.

sauf que dans le Tuto, on est sensé accéder à Ubuntu en passant par Windows alors que toi tu y accèdes en passant par Super Grub2 Disk.

La seule différence que je trouve, c'est l'ajout d'un élément à la ligne BootOrder:0004, 0003,2003,2001,2002
Je n'ai toujours pas le démarrage avec Grub mais, sous W , dans la Fenêtre SHIFT+Redémarrer j'ai maintenant retrouvé le choix de Grub, comme après l'installation de 14.04
Ai-je une chance d'obtenir le menu grub directement ??

Tu es seulement revenu à ta situation d'avant, c'est à dire avec une entrée pour ubuntu dans le menu UEFI comme on peut voir dans cet extrait du post #12 :

J'ai appris beaucoup de choses, ce n'était pas du temps perdu !! au moins pour moi
Je vais donc refaire mon installation W avec les Cd de restauration pour obtenir des fichiers propres, et je vais recommencer calmement toutes les opérations que tu m'a proposées, maintenant je sais ce que je fais et pourquoi je le fais. Je reste persuadé qu'il s'est passé quelque chose avec les premières manipulations, qui t'ont d'ailleurs interpellé puisque tu as écris au post 16 :
en effet, je constate dans le Boot-Info que tu as réussi - je ne sais pas trop comment - à faire la modif du fichier 40_custom. On peut le voir dans la partie suivante du Boot-Info :

Avant d'appuyer sur le bouton rouge qui fait exploser la bombe thermo-nucléaire, penses au bulldozer. C'est le moment.
Ou alors restes sur ce principe de fonctionnement qui est maintenant devenu, si j'ai bien compris:
Lorsque je mets en route par power on , C'est windows qui met en route.
Lorsque j'appuie simultanément sur F9 et power on.
J'ai un menu à la noix qui m'oblige à répondre que je veux mettre en route UBUNTU.
alors que oui je voulais bien évidement le faire.
On doit facilement pouvoir améliorer ce point en disant que le temps de réflexion est de 0 seconde au lieu de 30? 10 ? 300?
