[Résolu]Dual bot avec W8
Bonjour à tous
Je suis nouveau et je débute sur Linux, j'ai donc installer Ubuntu ce matin sur mon Asus G750J en dual boot avec W8.1, avec un usblive.
L'installation s'est bien passée, mais voilà mon problème:
J'arrive sur le "Gnu GRUB", avec plusieurs choix dont Ubuntu ou W8.1 : -Avec Ubuntu, nickel, tout marche
- Avec W8, problème: "W8 failed to start / File: /Boot/BCD / Status:0xc000000e / Info:The boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contain error"
Si je règle pour passer par Windows Boot Manager, j'arrive directement sur W8.1.
J'ai fait un boot-info (http://paste.ubuntu.com/8578470/).
J'ai chercher des solutions sur internet, mais il y a de nombreux conseils différents, et ce que j'ai essayer pour l'instant ne marche pas. Est ce que quelqu’un peut me filer un petit conseil ?

Salut
une fois sur windows, essaie de rétablir le MBR de celui ci grâce à cette vidéo : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFyKksGAQQU
Tout ça, ce sont des âneries... Tu as deux disques durs. Ton W8 est installé en mode UEFI sur un disque dur (sdb) au format gpt, et ton Ubuntu est installé en legacy sur un second disque dur (sda) au format mbr.
Les deux sont incompatibles. Règle ton bios pour ne démarrer qu'en mode uefi, convertis le disque sda au format gpt avec gparted ou Windows 8 lui-même, et réinstalle ton ubuntu en mode uefi (en utilisant le partitionnement manuel "autre chose" ) en plaçant grub sur /dev/sdb.
Edit. Tu pourrais même placer grub sur /dev/sda, après avoir créé une partition efi. Tu en aurais une sur chaque disque, ce qui laisserait le disque sdb intact. Et je pense que grub serait capable d'aller chercher la base bcd de l'autre disque (je n'ai jamais testé).

N'oubliez pas de régler votre BIOS pour qu'il amorce sur le fichier sdb1/efi/.../grub*.efi
Ou alors, tu oublies le dual boot et bascule de l'un à l'autre en fonction de tes besoins.

Merci de vos réponses!
D'accord j'ai bien compris, je viens de convertir sda en gpt par W8, j'aimerais réinstaller ubuntu, mais impossible de booter sur la clé en mode uefi, j'étais passer en mode legacy sans savoir que ça poserais ce problème.
J'ai essayer de passer par l'option boot override (en tout logique, ça force le démarrage sur la clé, c'est bien ça?), mais ça me dit alors :"\EFI\BOOT\fallback.efi": 14
J'ai pourtant suivis tout les étapes de différents tutos, rien ne marche

Théoriquement, dans \EFI\BOOT\ c'est le fichier bootx64.efi qui devrait être exécuté. Vérifie ton usb.

Le problème vient peut être de la façon dont est installée l'iso sur l'usb ?
convertir et inciter les gens à utiliser Linux :)

Je te recommande fortement de refaire ta liveUSB en commençant par créer une nouvelle table de partition MSDOS sur cette clé puis en créant une partition primaire en FAT32 qui occupe toute la place. Tu mettras le flag boot sur cette partition. Ces opérations peuvent être faites avec Gparted. Salut et merci pour vos réponses.
Ça y est, tout est installer et fonctionnel!
Par contre, j'ai fait ça hier soir et je n'ai pas eu le temps de voir vos réponses depuis mon dernier message, mais je suis arriver à me débrouiller. L'installation n'as pas été facile: après avoir toucher un peu à tout ce qui était possible dans BIOS (ça a été long), j'ai finis par arriver sur l'écran correspondant a un boot sur ma usb live en mode UEFI. Mais, impossible de lancer "Try Ubuntu", si je le sélectionne, rien ne se passe (pc qui tourne à fond, écran noir, j'ai attendu jusqu’à 15 minutes, rien à faire).
Je retourne donc sur W8, pensant que le défaut viens peut être de la clé (au vu de vos messages, c'était une bonne idée). Mais, toujours la même chose, soit erreur "\EFI\BOOT\fallback.efi": 14, soit écran noir si je veut démarrer une session live.
J'ai finis par essayer "Install Ubuntu", et là tout se lance nickel, j'ai pu suivre l'installation jusqu’au bout, le dual bot fonctionne aussi, bref, tout va bien
Mais du coup, l'erreur ne semblait pas venir de la clé (les deux fois, j'ai fait la même procédure).
Merci particulièrement à Malbo: depuis le début, je me suis basé sur tes tutos (que ce soit pour faire la clé ou l'installation en dual boot), qui sont super bien fait. C'est de ma faute, une fois la live usb booter, je n'ai pas fait attention entre la distinction entre l'écran du lancement en mode UEFI ou non, ça m'aurait éviter une installation dans le vent et de venir vous déranger pour pas grand chose.

EDIT : je souhaiterais ajouter ton modèle dans la Liste des portables « Asus »
Peux-tu confirmer qu'il s'agit du modèle Asus G750JX-CV030H qu'on peut voir là : http://www.laptopspirit.fr/134546/asus- … 1699e.html (on y voit qu'il y a deux disques durs de 750 Go ce qui est ton cas)
