Bonjour,

j'essaie d'installer Peerguardian depuis quelques heures déjà, j'ai chercher plusieurs posts sur ce forum ou des forums anglais et je ne trouve pas la solution. J'ai bien réussi à lancer l'interface graphique mais quand je clique sur start, on me dit que la commande pglcmd start failed to execute.
J'ai essayé de le réinstaller et j'obtient ça

pgld will soon be started ...
If any blocklists are missing, they will be downloaded. This may take several
minutes. Please be patient and don't abort. If you want to follow the update
process, then do in another terminal a
 tail -f /var/log/pgl/pglcmd.log
The lists are saved to /var/spool/pgl/.

downloading the blocklists fails temporarily, the installation will fail. In
this case you may turn the automatic starting off by setting in
/etc/pgl/pglcmd.conf:
 INIT="0"

J'utilise aussi pgld (avec pglgui), donc je vais peut-être pouvoir t'aider.
As tu exécuté

sudo dpkg-reconfigure --force pglcmd

comme le message te conseille de faire ?

Alors j'ai exécuté la commande que tu m'a donné
J'ai une première page de configuration sur la configuration de INIT (=turn on automatic start). Et ensuite j'ai CRON (=turn on automatic blocklist update). J'ai mis oui au deux et j'obtient ça :

 * Stopping PeerGuardian Linux pgld                                      [ OK ]

 * Starting PeerGuardian Linux pgld                                      [fail]

J'ai moi aussi l'interface graphique mais quand j'appuie sur start j'ai ça :
One or more command(s) failed to execute.
/usr/bin/gksudo /usr/bin/pglcmd start * .... fail!

Ah ok je crois savoir: as tu gksu installé ? C'est comme un sudo mais en mode graphique, car pour démarrer pgld a besoin de ton mot de passe.

sudo apt-get install gksu

J'obtiens ça avec la commande :

Edites ce fichier avec gedit par exemple:

gksudo gedit /etc/pgl/pglcmd.conf

et change la valeur de INIT

INIT="0"

enregistres, puis

sudo dpkg-reconfigure --force pglcmd

Alors en fait quand je fais

sudo dpkg-reconfigure --force pglcmd

Le terminal me demande de régler INIT yes = 1 et no = 0. Quand je le met en 0. J'ai vérifié à la fin du fichier il est écrit INIT=0 et CRON=1. J'obtiens ça :

ben là je sèche un peu.
Regarde de ce coté là:

runlevel:/var/run/utmp: No such file or directory

Il y a plusieurs réponses sur le net, par exemple ici, mais je ne sais pas si ça résoudrait le problème.

En cherchant un peu sur les liens que tu m'a donné j'ai trouvé dans pglcmd.log l'erreur suivante :

*Could not load kernel module xt_mark, not starting pgld.
*Use a kernel with netfilter MARK support or reconfigure pglcmd
*to not use the MARKing feature (options REJECT and ACCEPT)

Je sais pas si ça peut t'aider à trouver mon problème.

Si tu n'y arrives pas désinstalle ce que tu as installé.

En ce qui me concerne j'ai installé pgl de la façon suivante :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jre-phoenix/ppa && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install pgld pglgui

Pour lancer pgl :

pglgui

Si tu n'as pas de lanceur tu peux le créer :

gksu gedit /usr/share/applications/pglgui.desktop

Tu copies/colles :

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Categories=System;Settings;
Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/pglgui.png
Name=PeerGuardian
Terminal=false
Exec=/usr/bin/pglgui
Hidden=false

Tu enregistres et tu fermes.

Le raccourci PeerGuardian se trouve dans Administration.

@bishop: Tu as raison, j'avais installé pgld/pglgui avec ce ppa quand j'étais sous 14.04. Et le lanceur a été créé automatiquement, ça a fonctionné de suite.
Sinon, pour le .desktop, pas besoin de le rendre exécutable, ça fonctionne sans.

Tu as raison. Il n'est pas nécessaire rendre le fichier exécutable.

Quand j'ai réinstallé le raccourci a été créé mais il ne fonctionnait pas. Ça arrive parfois et je ne comprends pas pourquoi. À l'édition il n'y a rien de suspect dans le fichier .desktop.mais il n'apparaît pas dans le menu. Du coup je supprime le récalcitrant et j'en créé un nouveau avec le soft Arronax.

J'ai ensuite lancé pglgui et cliqué sur start et j'ai ça :

Vu les erreurs ça ne peut pas fonctionner.

Avant d'installer le PPA et pgl il fallait que tu fasses le ménage de ta précédente installation ?
Là c'est la cata...

Désinstalle, si c'est possible les paquets pgld, pglgui et pglcmd :

sudo apt-get remove --purge pgld pglgui pglcmd

N'oublie pas de supprimer le dossier

rm -R ~/.config/pgl

Fait le ménage de ta précédente installation.

Puis tu mets à jour :

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Poste le résultat de la dernière commande (sudo apt-get dist-upgrade).
On verra la suite après et seulement s'il n'y a pas d'erreur avec cette commande.

Je ne pense pas avoir installer libnetfilter-queue1, j'ai rien qui ressemble à ça.

sudo apt install libnetfilter-queue1

sudo apt reinstall pgld pglgui pglcmd

explication
si tu télécharges les paquets pgl depuis launchpad.net et que tu les installes par gdebi ,tu as le message relatif aux dépendances
et par la logitheque il est installé d'office.

Pour l'erreur :

Il y a des solutions proposées dans la documentation ubuntu-fr :
Problèmes avec les gestionnaires de paquets => Paragraphe 4. Erreur de sortie d'état 1.

Essaie :

sudo apt-get remove --purge pgld pglgui pglcmd

sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/status /var/lib/dpkg/status-old

sudo dpkg --configure -a

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Puis tu réinstalles :

sudo apt-get install pgld pglgui
