(RESOLU)Installation UBUNTU à la place de W8

Bonjour à tous
J'ai un nouvel ordi : marque HP processeur AMD A8, acheté chez Boulanger et -hélas- avec Windows 8 préinstallé.
Ce Windows 8 étant réellement insupportable j'ai essayé de le virer et de passer sous ubutu ... malgré les appréhensions dues à l'UEFI.
Bien sûr ça bugue.
En utilisant le live CD j'ai utilisé boot-repair et obtenu le boot-info suivant :

bonjour c quoi qui exactement qui bugue , t as reussi a installer ubuntu sur une autre partition que win8  et le dual boot bugue ou alors tu as virer win8 et installer ubuntu a la place ( as tu garder ta partition recovery pour ta garantie comme ton ordi est neuf ?? )

d accord donc si je comprend bien ton probleme tu as bien reussi a installer ubuntu sur sda2 mais quand tu demarre l ordi ubuntu ne se lance pas ??

sous le live usb une reparation recommandé avec boot-repair (avec purge et reinstallation du grub ) n as pas regler le probleme ?

Ton Bios est en mode Legacy paramètre à modifier depuis le Bios :

Le démarrage de votre PC est en mode Legacy. Veuillez le passer en mode EFI.

Salut,

Confirmation ici...

This live-session is not in EFI-mode.

Sur HP, lorsque tu tapotes F9, le pc doit te proposer des entrées de boot... Tu choisis l'option cd-rom (ou usb) mais en uefi, et tu refais un boot-info.

Par ailleurs, une simple remarque: quand on sait que les HP W8 sont verrouillés pour booter sur WBM, on se dit qu'avoir viré W8 est une décision lourde de conséquences.

Non, ici c'est son installe qui démarre pas. Il faut qu'il vérifie puis modifie le paramètre Legacy/UEFI depuis le Bios.

Là, on est d'accord... Son boot-info a été fait en mode legacy (c'est un fait exact), mais Serge a bel et bien installé son ubuntu en uefi (la partition faT32 avec les fichiers efi a été créée, et rien n'est écrit dans le mbr. L'installation à donc été bien faite)...

Donc, son bios boote (ou a booté) dans les deux "systèmes"... sinon, il n'aurait pas pu le faire ainsi. Il a dû changer les réglages dans un second temps, ou alors il n'a pas fait attention en faisant booter son live-cd pour faire le boot-info, dans le choix au démarrage.

L'explication (une fois le bios remis sur uefi) du démarrage impossible réside probablement dans le lien de mon premier message. HP bride les pc pour booter sur WBM.

Bon et alors en bref : je fais quoi ?
Je ne vois même pas où je peux avoir accès aux modes legacy ou uefi ...

J'avais précédemment installé Ubuntu sur un ordi sous XP, ça s'était fait sans douleur et j'espérais qu'il en serait de même ici.

Quand je "tapote" F9 au démarage j'ai le message :
             sélectonner le périphérique de démarrage
avec les choix suivants :
            > Source de démarrage UEFI
                      ubuntu
               sources de démarrage héritées
                      lecteur de  CD-ROM/DVD ATPI SATA2
               Disquette /CD-ROM USB
               Disque Dur SATA0
               Controleur réseau (Realtek PXE BOI D00)
Je crois bien que j'ai essayé toutes les possibilités ...

Est-il seulement possible de retrouver W8 ? Je le trouve vraiment très désagréable mais si c'est la seule solution...

Il faut que ton bios soit réglé en legacy (bof) ou sans secure-boot (mieux).

Bon,

On va faire simple... démarre ton pc avec le live-cd dans le mode qui t'est proposé... Depuis le Terminal, tape ceci

1. Si ça te renvoie "mode classique", ouvre gparted, crée une nouvelle table de partitions ms-dos sur ton disque dur, et refais l'installation. Comme ton pc est configuré pour booter dans ce mode, ton ubuntu devrait alors démarrer.

2. Si ça te renvoie "mode uefi", on verra plus tard.

Refais un boot-info, alors...

Je soumets cette adaptation de ce que Maxire a trouvé pour Toshiba, avec une procédure d'installation en chroot pompée sur un site US, à savoir http://superuser.com/questions/376470/h … -grub2-efi (testée une fois avec succès pour faire un grub-install "simple" sur vmware) en espérant  que ça puisse d'adapter à HP (mais si ça boote sur cd, ça devrait aussi sur disque dur)... on connecte le live-cd à Internet, puis :

sudo mount /dev/sda2 /mnt 
sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot/efi 
for i in /dev /dev/pts /proc /sys; do sudo mount -B $i /mnt$i; done  
sudo cp /etc/resolv.conf /mnt/etc/

Attends tout de même un avis là-dessus (de Nany, de maxire ou de malbo). On n'est jamais trop prudent. Et il est fort possible qu'il faille désactiver le "secure boot" dans le bios, si ce n'est déjà fait.

Est-il seulement possible de retrouver W8 ? Je le trouve vraiment très désagréable mais si c'est la seule solution...

Je vois ceci dans le boot-info:

SecureBoot enabled.

Tu devrais réessayer la procédure par  chroot et tenter de démarrer avec le boot secure désactivé, pour voir si quelque chose change.

Si c'est toujours pareil, le plus simple de refaire l'installation en mode classique : tu passes le bios en legacy, tu démarres le live-cd dans ce mode legacy (tu l'as fait une fois, lors du premier boot info), et après conversion de la table de partition en mode ms-dos (avec gparted), tu réinstalles ubuntu.
