Installation UEFI Toshiba Satellite C50 (résolu)

Bonjour,
Ca fait plusieurs semaines que je galère misérablement à essayer d'installer Ubuntu et je me décide donc à demander un peu d'aide !!
J'ai donc fait "installer Ubuntu 14.04" à partir de mon CD, mais quand j'éteins l'ordi il ne veut pas démarrer dessus, sans le CD. J'ai donc essayé de corriger le problème avec le programme "boot repair", mais à la fin j'ai eu un message comme quoi il y avait eu un problème pendant la réparation et me demandant d'envoyer l'url suivant http://paste.ubuntu.com/8750135/ à telle adresse et maintenant j'attends depuis des semaines qu'une âme charitable me réponde et rien ne vient évidemment...
Est-ce que par hasard quelque pourrait me sortir de ce bourbier ?...

Au premier constat, tu as bien installé ubuntu

Au second constat,   EFI n'a pas été informé de cette installation.

Peux-tu donner les caractéristiques exactes de ton micro. Il est possible que ce problème soit connu.

Peux-tu rebooter via le CD et faire la commande suivante
               sudo efibootmgr -v

Merci de m'avoir répondu !
Mon pc est un Toshiba Satellite c50-b-13n flambant neuf. Je précise que j'ai eu un mal de chien à lancer le boot repair puisqu'à chaque fois j'avais le message : boot repair not found. Et là idem avec la commande que tu m'as indiquée : command not found...

Bonjour,

c’est normal que boot-repair disparaisse du CD après redémarrage, il faut le réinstaller à chaque fois.
Idem pour efibootmgr.

sudo apt udpdate

sudo apt install -y efibootmgr

sudo efibootmgr -v

Questions subsidiaires :
Windows 8 était-il installé à la livraison de ce Tosh. flambant neuf ?
Si oui, souhaitais-tu le supprimer ?

Arrh ok ! Je suis totalement novice en "terminal" et en saisie de commandes à vrai dire...
Oui oui il y avait Windows 8 bien sûr et j'ai directement voulu le supprimer (comme je suis un peu téméraire).

J'ai donc tenté le efibootmgr et voici la dernière partie du résultat :

Tout est bien installé. C'est seulement que ton ordi à tête de lard de chez Toshiba refuse pour l'instant de te laisser accéder à ton Ubuntu parfaitement installé.
Je te suggère de graver un CD Super Grub2 Disk (SG2D) et de t'en servir pour démarrer ton Ubuntu installé suivant ce tuto : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p13655091
Le version à télécharger indiquée dans le tuto est obsolète : c'est "super_grub2_disk_hybrid_2.00s2.iso" le nom de l'ISO à télécharger puis à graver sur CD (ou CD ré-inscriptible). Une fois que tu arriveras à démarrer ton Ubuntu installé, on verra pour faire une réparation qui permette de démarrer sans avoir besoin du CD SG2D

Oui oui il y avait Windows 8 bien sûr et j'ai directement voulu le supprimer (comme je suis un peu téméraire).

Au moins les choses sont claires et tu as donc bien réussi à le supprimer.
Pour le reste, malbo a vu juste (comme d’habitude). Tu n’as donc plus qu’à suivre ses indications.

Non mais en fait je suis un peu... inquiète quoi, parce que je n'ai jamais réussi à graver le fameux cd boot repair, sur aucun pc ! C'est assez mystérieux on va dire...

Et tu sélectionnes "Everything" : SGD2 va alors te proposer un menu avec tous les choix de démarrage possibles et imaginables. Tu les essaies tous jusqu'à ce que tu parviennes à démarrer sur ton Ubuntu installé sur le disque dur.

Bon je n'ai pas réussi. Dans le meilleur des cas j'ai un message qui s'affiche :
GNU GRUB version 2.02
Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere elese TAB lists possible device or file completions.

Et là quand je tape sur la touche tabulation il y a une liste qui apparait...

Oui tout à fait, j'ai donc fait "eveything" comme tu m'as indiqué puis j'ai essayé tous les éléments du menu et il ne s'est rien passé sauf ce que j'ai décrit dans mon avant dernier post...

C'est très rare que SG2D ne fonctionne pas. As-tu bien réglé "Boot Mode" sur "UEFI Boot" comme on peut voir dans cette vue de l'UEFI d'un Toshiba : http://www.top-password.com/blog/wp-con … t-mode.jpg
Motif : si tu sélectionnes "CSM Boot" au lieu de "UEFI Boot", ton ordi a la capacité de démarrer en mode non-EFI sur un périphérique. Et ça n'est pas ce qu'il faut : il est nécessaire que l'ordi démarre en mode EFI sur le liveCD SGD2.

Alors il y a un vrai souci, c'est que le menu UEFI Boot est en grisé, je ne peux pas y accéder !!!

Tu dis que c'est grisé mais peux-tu préciser ce que tu peux lire pour le "Boot Mode" même si tu n'y a pas accès pour le changer ?

Merci je ne demande qu'à te croire !! (bien que je commence à avoir quelques doutes...)

Alors j'ai bien réussi à repasser en mode UEFI en débloquant la sécurité mais ça ne change rien, je n'arrive pas à démarrer Ubuntu sur SG2D...

Au démarrage de ton ordi, quand tu vois le logo Toshiba, presse la touche F12 pour faire apparaître le Boot Menu. Dis-nous si tu y parviens et si oui, qu'est-ce que tu vois comme choix dans ce menu ?

Bonjour. Je suis nouveau sur le forum.
J'ai moi aussi installé Ubuntu par le biais d'un DVD que j'avais préalablement gravé via le net. J'ai donc fait une installation directe en écrasant xp. L'installation c'est parfaitement passée, au redémarrage j'ai bien eu sur mon écran la page d'accueil de ubuntu  mais dès mon premier clic doit sur un icône pour lancer une application... dans un premier temps blocage de la souris puis l'écran devient complètement zébré tout est alors bloqué et je doit éteindre en force ! Pensant que cela pouvait venir du choix 32 bits ou 64 bits j'ai essayé les deux versions... mais toujours le même problème ? J'ai fait une recherche sur les différents forum mais je n'ai jamais trouvé de cas similaire... Pourriez-vous m'aider ? Pour info mon ordi est un Acer Aspire T-180.
