[Résolu] Console illisible - NEC Powermate VL2 - Lubuntu 14.04
Bonjour,
Ce fil fait suite à cette première discussion plus générale : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1582701
Sur une vieille tour où j'ai installé lubuntu 14.04, je rencontre plusieurs problèmes donc celui-ci :
Quand je passe en mode console, celle-ci est illisible !
Sinon, dans un terminal ou sur internet, je n'ai jamais vu ce genre d'affichage. Et je précise que depuis une session live Lubuntu 14.04, je ne rencontre pas ce problème.
Autre précision, j'ai essayé Zorin OS 6 lite basé sur Lubuntu 12.04 et maintenu 5 ans : J'y ai rencontré le même problème.

Il faut jouer avec les paramètres grub pour l'adapter à ton couple écran/carte graphique.

Une autre piste, mais toujours avec grub, est indiquée là ./viewtopic.php?pid=17685931#p17685931 par serged.

Cette solution là est sensée marcher, j'ai eu une fois ce problème et ça l'a résolu. Par contre, si le grub se met à jour, il faut penser à dire à debconf qu'il faut garder le fichier de configuration modifié pour ne pas perdre le bénéfice de la manip.
Dell Latitude D830 et Thinkpad X220 - Xubuntu 16.04 et 18.04
En cas de problème, appliquez une pincée de poudre verte.
Et pensez aux parrains linux pour une aide IRL. %NOINDEX%

Merci à vous pour vos réponses ! La solution ci-dessus que vous m'avez envoyé a fonctionné ! 
Par contre, je n'ai que le fichier modifié présent sur le PC en question. Dois-je dire quelquechose à debconf dans ce cas ? (Faire connaissance avec lui pour commencer car je ne vois pas de quoi tu parles ^^ )

Je cite la solution pour éviter qu'elle soit perdue :
Quel carte graphique et quel pilote ?
Avec les pilotes propriétaires NVidia (et je suppose d'autres), il y a effectivement une mauvaise prise en compte des consoles texte.Pour celà dans le fichier /etc/default/grub, il faut (après l'avoir sauvegardé) rajouter la ligne :
# Hack to force higher framebuffer resolution GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX="1280x800"(tu remplaces 1280x800 par la résolution que tu désires et que supporte ton écran).
et un petit :
sudo update-grubpour pérenniser tout ça et tu redémarres !

Debconf ne te parlera qu'en cas de mise à jour ^^
Je m'explique : apt et les autres gestionnaires de paquets sont construit de manière à faire le maximum de choses automatiquement. Cependant, tu as modifié un fichier de configuration. Lors d'une mise à jour (du grub je crois), le nouveau paquet arrive avec ses nouveaux binaires et ses nouveaux fichiers de configuration, et normalement, les nouveaux fichiers de configuration viennent automatiquement prendre la place des anciens. Il va donc y avoir un conflit entre le fichier de configuration que tu as modifié manuellement et celui qui vient avec le nouveau paquet. Debconf va donc te demander quel fichier il doit conserver, et c'est là qu'il va falloir penser à garder le fichier modifié manuellement sous peine de devoir recommencer la manip.

Merci de ta précision. Seulement je prévois de donner ou vendre le PC en question. Dans ce cas, il faudra que je donne ces infos au futur utilisateur. Ce sera surement quelqu'un qui ne connait pas Linux donc j'espère ne pas trop l'embrouiller. Au pire, il perdra l'affichage de la console, qui ne devrait pas lui être indispensable au début
