Bien, 3 partitions ont été créé manuellement sur mon hdd interne WD 500Go et Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS installé dans Sda 2 apparemment.
Le redémarrage en mode legacy a donné un résultat différent, pas de message.
Puis diagnostique avec Boot Repair:

J'ai regardé dans 'Emplacement de Grub' et je trouve
OS par défaut au démarrage - sda2(Ubuntu 14.04.1LTS)
placer grub dans sda, pas d'autre choix.
Je laisse comme ça pour l'instant sans rien faire en attendant votre aide merci.

Apparemment ça marche ? essaye de faire un sudo update-grub pour avoir le grub V2
a sa place, a partir du terminal et fait un screen de la partition de l'installe avec gparted
pour voir exactement comment c'est partitionné , merci

Non, ça ne marche pas comme je suis sur un live cd de Boot Repair les commandes sur le terminal ne donnent rien et je ne peux pas faire une capture de l'écran apparemment.
J'ai mis le grub dans sda comme indiqué dans 'Emplacement de Grub', il n'y avait pas d'autre choix de toute façon.

J'imagine que grub devrait être en sda2?
Je suis revenu à la situation antérieur avec des messages au demarrage du style, read error, read or write outside HD0.

Avec un redémarrage je suis maintenant sur la page de Grub 2.02 avec choix entre Ubuntu et Ubuntu (recovery mode).
Les deux n'arrive pas à démarrer Ubuntu il ne trouve pas les fichiers nécessaires apparemment.

Tu peux tenter de faire un live CD BRD , dans BRD tu as la possibilité de te servir de firefox (acces au forum), de te servir de gparted(pour le screen avec" la toile libre") et de thunderbird ...pour la com
essaye pour voir si tu peux essayer ces possibilités ??A moins que babdu89 va te donner un gros coup de main en plus... Comme tu es maintenant ça bloque QQpart .....On va y arriver

Depuis Boot-Repair réessaye en cochant la case "Purger Grub avant de le réinstaller" depuis "Options avancées" l'onglet "Options du Grub" et en sélectionnant "sda" comme périphérique ou serra installer le programme de démarrage "Grub" puis applique.

Ok !!
Comme c'est une installation toute fraîche. Je te propose de tout formater, puis réinstaller tout ça proprement en sélectionnant cette fois si "sda" pour périphérique ou serra installer le programme de démarrage, avec système de fichier "ext4" pour le home et non pas "ext2".

Bonjour, J'ai voulu forcé la main à un ami pour le faire passer sur ubuntu il y a deux jours. Son ordi est un portable Asus de 2011 avec w7 embarqué. Je lance donc l'install depuis une live usb et tout semble bien se passer jusqu'à la fin de l'installation mais au redémarrage pas de grub et w7 qui redémarrait... Et c'est là que je m'enfonce dans ma bêtise de novice qui croit pouvoir trouver une solution en moins de deux... Donc, sous w7 je trouve le programme easybcd sur le net et je tente l'install d'un multi-boot, je tente un redémarrage et là... toujours w7 donc je me dis que je ne vais pas insister donc je supprime le multi boot toujours via easybcd et là c'est le drame, le programme m'avertit qu'aucun système d'exploitation ne sera lancé au prochain redémarrage, du coup je panique un peu et je lance une restauration système en espérant sauver les meubles mais hélas la restauration provoque un redémarrage et depuis plus rien...En session live on peut voir que w7 est toujours là et les documents aussi mais le mbr/bcd doit être corrompu...
Trop dégouté pour mon ami qui n'avait rien demandé et possédait jusqu'alors un ordi en parfait état de marche.
J'ai honte
J'aimerai lui rendre l'ordi avec un w7 qui démarre mais les cd de réparation que j'ai pu faire via d'autre w$ ne veulent pas se lancer.
J'ai apporté l'ordi chez un professionnel qui me propose juste de sauvegarder les donnés et de réinstaller w7 en version sortie d'usine, le tout pour 198€
Après avoir fouiller sur les forums j'ai fini par trouver un boot-repair live usb (car j'ai fini par comprendre que j'était en uefi)
Ma question est donc la suivante : Si je lance "boot repair" pour tenter de réparer le démarrage vais je perdre les documents présents sous w$ ?

Sur ce que j'ai vu , tu devrais faire ce qu'a suggeré Malbo dans le fil.....Deja en premier ! J'ai vu aussi que dans le boot-info tu avais installé la version 13.04, qui n'est plus soutenue , ce qui revient a dire que , même si tu pouvais te servir de la 13.04 il te sera impossible de faire des Mises a jours ! Tu as BRD sur une clé USB , je crois qu'il serait bien, puisque dans BRD il y a os-uninstaller, de supprimer avec cet outil la 13.04, ça te permettra de ne plus avoir de linux dans ta bécane. Apres ça, il te suffit de télécharger/graver ou utiliser la clé USB pour y installer une version plus récente comme Ubuntu 14.04.2 Lts
Qui elle sera soutenue durant QQs années encore ..

J'ai vu que l'équipe boot-repair a repris des activités et que des changements sont intervenus dans le fonctionnement de boot-repair.
Je souhaite faire part d'une information à l'équipe boot-repair. Je ne sais pas si c'est la bonne façon de faire.

Voila le problème: Boot-repair est affecté d'un grave défaut lorsqu'il veut réparer un boot EFI que l'installateur UBUNTU a mal fabriqué.
Tout comme lui, il considère qu'il est nécessaire d'avoir une partition avec un drapeau boot. C'est une hérésie.
Il faut seulement une ou des partitions ayant un format FAT32 sur un disque ou des disques ayant un partitionnement GPT.
D'ailleurs boot-repair pourrait proposer la création d'une partition FAT32 de taille conséquente qui aurait seulement le répertoire /EFI/ubuntu ansi que les log de boot-repair...

Ajout. Le plus simple serait que l'équipe se donne les moyens de disposer d'un micro EFI ayant seulement un windows pré-installé.
Au besoin: En ayant préalablement éliminé les lignes ubuntu présentes dans le démarrage du bios .
En ayant vérifié que le drapeau 'boot' est bien absent.
En ayant supprimé les partitions EXT4.
En ayant vérifié que windows met bien en route.
Il restera alors à installer la version ubuntu 14.04.2 et à réparer sans positionner le drapeau boot.

D'ailleurs boot-repair pourrait proposer la création d'une partition FAT32 de taille conséquente qui aurait seulement le répertoire /EFI/ubuntu ansi que les log de boot-repair...

Seulement , lorsque l'on est un "maniac" comme moi, j'utilise et teste beaucoup avec Boot-Repair.
À chaque lancement, il ajoute un log dans les dossiers indiqués. Çà devient vite très lourd, une partition petite partition /boot/efi risque de ne pas aimer ;

Le dossier fait 222 Mo actuellement, la partition efi va être vite remplie.

Moi, je trouve qu'indique uniquement le chemin du log qui concerne les manips dans le partition /boot/efi est bonne. Çà ne charge pas trop la partition efi.

Je ne serais pas étonné que YannUbuntu ,ou les contributeurs qui aident à améliorer Boot-Repair .
Demandent à l'utilisateur dans la discutions indiquée ci-dessus . De leur envoyer une archive zippée des log fait par Boot-Repair.

En haut, en rouge, on voit la date et heure de la création du boot info. Il n'y a pas réparation de faite, mais on voit du changement, puisque le contenu la partition /boot/efi à été changé.
Et la date et heure du log indiqués dans cette partition, sont différentes de celles indiqués pour la création du boot info.

Donc pour savoir ce que Boot-Repair à fait comme réparation, et comment il a eu accès à cette partition. Il faut avoir le contenu du dossier /var/log/boot-sav à disposition .

J'essaye d'installer ubuntu sur un packard bell easynote TE69CX en dual boot avec windows 8 préinstallé en uefi et en efi.Une fois installé pas moyen de faire démarrer ubuntu.

bonjour à tous
bon, la bête est vraiment malade maintenant, impossible de redémarrer le portable avec windows et bien sûr avec ubuntu!!!! suite à avoir décoché le démarrage rapide sur l'interface windows options d'alimentation, et modif du boot sur boot secure, "enable"!!!! ou des manips de ma part hasardeuses???!!!! ça sent le sapin sur appareil neuf!!! rire
Donc je n'ai pu que faire une restauration complète, qui est en cours, je vous tiens au courant, de la suite, mais je voudrais mettre ubuntu quand même après avoir remis windows à neuf car c'est pour ma fille, en 1 mois elle a complétement vérolé firefox en allant sur des sites de streaming films!!! avant elle a eu un vieux portable sous kubuntu, des années avec les mêmes utilisations sans aucun problème.....!!!!
je voudrais que vous m'aidiez et m'accompagniez pour le dual boot et l'installation, est ce que vous pensez que je vais pouvoir faire marcher ce portable? grâce à vous?
