[Résolu] Nettoyer mon système des paquets marqués "rc"
Bonjour
Il y a déjà une discussion sur ce sujet mais achevée depuis 2009. Donc voici: il existe des paquets marqués rc ce qui signifie qu'ils ont été marqués comme devant être enlevés, et que leurs fichiers de configuration sont encore présents.
Si on consulte ces pages (en anglais) https://linuxprograms.wordpress.com/201 … dpkg-list/ et https://linuxprograms.wordpress.com/201 … marked-rc/
Si je passe cette commande

alain@ubuntu:~$ Ça fait un paquets de paquets... Il faut dire que ce pc tourne sans réinstallation depuis Août 2012, j'ai seulement fait les mises à jour et les mises à niveau en ligne, et enlevés avec Kclean les noyaux anciens.
Vous me direz si ça marche, pourquoi s'en préoccuper, d'autant que je ne manque pas de place

alain@ubuntu:~$ Donc voilà, est-ce que ça vaut le coup de nettoyer tout ça, et avec quelle commande sans danger ?
Si la variété et le nombre de paquets concernés vous intrigue, cela provient du fait que j'anime un club informatique et que de temps en temps j'installe une appli pour la montrer ou voir ce que c'est et qu'ensuite je la vire n'en ayant pas l'usage personnellement.

Tiens, essaye ça (source : nany) :
dpkg -l | grep ^rc | cut -d' ' -f3 | xargs sudo dpkg --purgeÇa va te dégager les sinus ! Je l'ai utilisée récemment chez moi, aucun problème depuis.

Laisse tomber pour le sudo, la commande le demande.

Le terminal a rendu son verdict, plus de paquets marques rc, ça ne change pas grand chose côté df -i et df -h mais bon, la propreté ça ne se discute pas.

Si tu veux éviter le marquage rc, utilise purge plutôt que remove pour désinstaller.

J'installe mes applications avec la logithèque, et je les supprime de même. Jamais avec le terminal, sauf exception. Je n'utilise pas plus remove que purge, mais de temps en temps je chercherai si j'ai des "rc" qui traînent.
