Dongle GPS USB : GT-730FL-S non détecté.

Bonjour, la communauté.

Dongle GPS GT-730FL-S

Je possède une Clé USB GPS : GT-730FL-S et sans parler de logiciel, la clé n'est pas reconnu par mon pc alors que mes ports USB fonctionnent correctement. Je voudrais récupérer les donnée GPX enregistrer. Je suis sous Ubuntu 14.04 lts.
J'ai trouvé des drivers  compatible avec Linux (Redhat) sur se site : http://www.canadagps.com/CanmoreGT-730FL-S.html
Mais pas impossible de les exploiter.

Comment faire ?

Que dit dmesg (la fin) quand tu insères ta clé ?
Tu dois avoir déjà un module pl2303 dans les drivers du noyau.

Sur Ubuntu rien.

Pour info:
Sur Windows il n'y a aucune réaction au branchement de la clé. Par contre sur Windows avec le programme fourni, il est possible de consulter les données enregistré sur la clé.

Que lsusb ne donne rien est étonnant : dmesg dit qu'il y a quelque chose qui a pour identité :

idVendor=0483, idProduct=5740

et ces numéros sont ceux d'une montre GPS vendue chez decathlon, me semble-t-il et je vois au moins 3 autres dispositifs usb.

Bizarre, j utilise plusieurs programme comme ( GPSPrune, Foxtrotgps, viking... ) mais aucun n'arrive a détecter automatiquement une source usb. D'autre par, si la clé est vraiment reconnu, je suis incapable de donner un chemin accès au logiciel pour qui récupère les fichier GPX stocké dedans. sad

As-tu essayé avec gpsman ou gpsbabel ?
Ces 2 programmes voient en principe les gps connectés sur un port série, ce qui, me semble-t-il, est le cas de cette clé, le driver servant à simuler un port série sur le port usb.

As-tu essayé avec xgps.

Pour ma part je possède un GPS USB (Sur Amaz... USB GPS Récepteur 65 Canaux SkyTraQ Venus & Chipset USB GPS Receiver) et xgps le reconnaît parfaitement, ainsi que viking et navit.

As tu suivis les indications données sur la partie GPS de la documentation Ubuntu ?.

Les logiciels que j'ai essayé sont : xgps, gpsman, gpsbabel, GPSPrune, Foxtrotgps, viking... Bref je dois mal mi prendre. SVP que dois-je faire une foi la clé connecté ?

Salut, j'espère que tu ne l'a pas jeté wink j'ai la même ici, et ça marche bien smile (version avec puce sirf4) .
Je reconnais que ce n'est pas du plug and play et que ça demande un peu de recherche en anglais pour y arriver.
d'abord ce n'est pas une clé reconnu directement en usb comme une clé usb traditionnelle, mais une interface série usb pour dialoguer avec la clé.
tu peux utiliser skytraq-datalogger pour la configurer (choisir temps, distance et vitesse de déclenchement)

le déchargement / effacement des traces se fait en ligne de commande avec gpsbabel et le module "skytraq" en input, par exemple:

gpsbabel -i skytraq -f /dev/ttyACM0 -x simplify,error=0.003k -o gpx -F gps/vol145.gpx

(le "-x simplify,error=0.003k" sert juste à enlever les points qui gardent la trace dans moins de 3 mètres d'erreur, pour avoir une trace moins chargée, mais c'est facultatif)

pour effacer ce qui est sur la clé:

gpsbabel -i skytraq,erase,no-output -f /dev/ttyACM0

note que cette clè est aussi reconnue en tant que gps externe par gpsd, sous reserve de ne pas lui faire changer de vitesse de transmission (elle se bloque alors et il faut attendre le vidage batterie pour qu'elle reparte) d'où l'option "-b" avec gpsd (dans mon cas, peut être que les versions à base de puce venus marchent correctement pour ça)

gpsd -Nb /dev/ttyACM0

tu peux alors l'utiliser avec navit, dans josm avec le plugin livegps etc...

ah oui j'oubliais, il faut qu'elle soit allumé et pas utilisée par gpsd pour pouvoir la décharger avec gpsbabel.
