[Résolu]Perte résolution 1024x768

Bonjour,

240/03/15. 22h30. C'est en allant sur un autre forum que la solution m'est venue  solution en reconnectant correctement le câble VGA sur le moniteur ... Dans mon 1ier post je ne l'avais pas dit mais j'avais effectivement vérifié la connectique moniteur / carte mère, trop vite apparemment roll

Je passe donc le sujet en résolu.

Ouverture de session à nouveau avec une résolution dégradée en 1024x768.
Cette fois-ci j'ai essayé de suivre les manips proposées par Résolution écran (avancé)http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/resolution_ecran_avance

Points 2.1 et 2.2 exécutés ce qui donne :

Au point 2.3 problème. En passant par Menu / Préférences / Affichages j'ai bien la résolution 1920x1080 disponible mais en la sélectionnant et en l'appliquant l'affichage disparaît puis revient toujours en 1024x768 + 2 messages d'erreur :
« La configuration d'affichage sélectionnée ne peut pas être appliquée - impossible de définir la configuration pour le CRTC 63 »
Puis
« Échec de l'application de la configuration : %s
GDBus.Error:org.gtk.GDBus.UnmappedGError.Quark._gnome_2drr_2derror_2dquark.Code2: impossible de définir la configuration pour le CRTC 63 »

Manip répétée 3 fois. Au bout d'un temps variable, immédiatement à quelques secondes, après le 2nd message d'erreur ma session ferme inopinément et reboote sur l'écran d'accueil toujours en résolution 1024x768.

Je vais essayer de chercher par rapport à ces messages d'erreur si il y a une solution trouvée.




21/03/15. A l'ouverture ce matin de ma session (10h30) la résolution d'écran était revenue à la normale sans que j'ai rien fait de particulier depuis hier après avoir posté ma 1ière demande d'aide.

Pour info, un xrandr fait à l'instant donne :

où l'on voit que mon titre est faux puisque la résolution normale est 1920x1080. Une autre différence aussi dans la 2ième ligne où est mentionné aujourd’hui "510mm x 290mm" alors qu'hier c'était "0mm x 0mm"

En outre une commande Affichage (via Tous les paramètres) me donne :
Ecran reconnu : Goldstar Company Ltd 23"
Résolution : 1620x1080 (16:9) --> logique ...
Le bouton Détection d'écran fonctionne.

Enfin, une comparaison entre le fichier Xorg.0.log édité hier et celui d'aujourd'hui montre la différence suivante avec ces lignes apparues aujourd’hui, absentes hier :

J'attends un peu pour passer en Résolu une ou des réponses malgré tout pour m'expliquer comment faire (si c'est possible) pour retrouver cette résolution si je la perdais encore, voir m'apporter une explication sur ce comportement erratique ?

Depuis 2 jours l'affichage de l'écran (session admin et invité) est en résolution différente de sa résolution habituelle (1024x768), type 800x600 ou plus grossière.
Le problème est apparu depuis environ 15 jours : les premières fois un redémarrage suffisait à avoir un affichage correct. Puis la fréquence d'apparition du problème a augmenté au fil des démarrages. La manœuvre consistant à faire on/off devait être répétée 2 fois puis 3 puis 4. Jusqu'à avant-hier où de multiples tentatives de on/off n'ont plus rien donné.

Un démarrage en recovery avec choix de l'option « redémarrage en mode normal » donne beaucoup d'informations toutes avec un signal [ok] sauf pour cette ligne :
Starting load fallback graphics devices             [fail]

et pour une autre impossible à noter car le défilement était trop rapide.

Un démarrage sur une clé type Multisystem avec LM17 puis Ubuntu 14,04 donne les mêmes résultats en résolution d'écran, type 800x600 ou plus grossière.

Une recherche exhaustive sur Google avec "Starting load fallback graphics devices" ne m'a rien donné de probant. Tout comme un tour sur la section du forum Affichage et cartes graphiques.

Voici le résultat de quelques autres recherches :

J'ai suivi le lien Résolution écran (avancé)http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/resolution_ecran_avance

Résultats 
Commande  « sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg » ne donne rien = retour curseur clignotant et rien de plus.

Pas suivi le reste de la page puisque les conseils donnés consistent à rajouter une résolution aux résolutions existantes. Or celle que je veux (1024x768) existe déjà mais n'est pas détectée. De plus je n'ai pas de fichier  gdm dans /etc (point 2.3 en fin de page) mais un fichier gdb.

Merci pour toute piste permettant de résoudre ce problème.

Merci à ton post Muscovite, à un an de distance tu m'a évité des heures de recherche! D'autant que le problème qui me concernait: "Affichage inconnu" dans mes paramètres d'affichage, n'était pas référencé dans les forums!
c'est beau la communauté Ubuntu big_smile
