[RESOLU]internet rame
Bonjour,
J'ai une box sfr,
un pc portable avec ubuntu 14.04 et une connexion wifi debit 130mbs
un pc bureau avec ubuntu 14.04 et une connexion filaire 1G
Sur le pc fixe, sur internet, ça rame un max, lorsque je fais une recherche google, je tape 10x plus vite que l'écran affiche.
Sur le portable, j'en parle même pas.
Comment faire pour améliorer cela?

Bah c'est ta connexion internet qui a un problème, ça vient pas d'Ubuntu. Essaye de redémarrer ta box, fais un test de débit pour voir.
Sinon les débits que tu donne 130 mbs/1G ça veux rien dire du tout, ce n'est pas du tout le débit d'internet, c'est juste le débit maximum que peux supporter ta connexion entre ta box et ton pc.

Je viens de recevoir ma nouvelle box, je l'ai branchée il y a 2h et ça marche aussi mal qu'avec l'ancienne.

Cette latence lors de l'écriture me laisse penser que c'est le PC qui rame et non pas la connexion 
Connais-tu la configuration matérielle de tes deux ordis ?
Edit : +1 pour le Speedtest. On sera fixé

Peut être qu'il a voulu dire qu'il peux taper rapidement une recherche sur google mais qu'ensuite quand il valide cela prend du temps a trouver une réponse.
Pour savoir si cela vient du pc ou de ta connexion internet, fais un test de débit ici : http://www.speedtest.net/fr/
tu nous donne les résultats (ou capture d'écran) ici et on verra si ça vient du pc ou d'internet.
Il nous faut notamment :
ton ping :
ton débit descendant :
ton débit montant :
si tu le connais ton débit théorique que t'a donné ton FAI (exemple 8 Mega, 12 Mega, 20 Mega...).

résultats du test sur le portable:
ping : 60 ms
débit descendant: 21.04 Mbps
débit montant : 0.69Mbps
Lorsque je suis sur ce forum, "j'ai le temps de taper" ce qui est entre les guillemets avant que cela s’affiche

Tu as beaucoup d'applications ouvertes ? Il me semble anormal qu'ils soient autant chargés en mémoire !

J'ai testé le même nombre d'ouvertures et je consomme beaucoup moins de mémoire sur mon fixe.
Est-ce que tu aurais une résolution d'écran trop importante ? (carte graphique trop poussée dans ses retranchements ?)
Quels sont les pilotes graphiques installés ? Ceux recommandés (libres) ou propriétaires (à éviter parfois) ?

Les 2 pc rament même sans onglets.
Les pilotes sont ceux d'origine, je ne pense pas avoir autre chose.
Concernant la résolution d'écran, c'est toujours la même, avant les pc dropaient maintenant ils rament

Je serais d'avis de tester Xubuntu. Ca résoud beaucoup de problèmes de lenteur. Même si tes PC semblent suffisamment pour Ubuntu. Les installations d'Ubuntu datent de quand ?

environ 2 ans, mais je ne veux pas changer de système d'exploitation, il y a 2 mois ça marchait fort, donc pour moi, la solution est ailleurs.
Un virus?
Des applications qui ne se ferment pas et qui pompent des ram?
il est étrange que le phénomène soit sur mes 2 PC. Sur 1 seul OK on peut dire on va changer me système, car il vieilli le pc, mais la c'est sur les 2 et en simultané

La coïncidence est bizarre en effet.
Par curiosité, peux-tu lançer une session Live Ubuntu ou Xubuntu (Utiliser un DVD ou une clé USB d'installation et essayer sans installer) ?
Et regarde si le problème persiste depuis une session live.

Je suggère de faire un "top" sur chacune des bécanes pour voir ce qui pompe les ressources.
