des fonctionnements bizarres avec Ubuntu
Bonjour
j'aurais besoin d'avis pour me dépanner, voilà ma config :
Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS + dual boot Windows XP
Processeur Intel® Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00GHz × 2
Mémoire 2Go
installation qui fonctionne bien depuis longtemps
Mon imprimante laser NB Samsung ML 3710ND a brutalement cessé de fonctionner, précisément l'état d'impression affiche «Traitement en cours » puis peu après : « arrêté ».
J'ai rebooté sur XP et là l'impression se fait normalement. Ce n'est donc pas un problème matériel de l'imprimante qui est en cause.
Autres bizarreries : 1) je n'arrive plus à graver un CD audio depuis quelque temps, il plante aléatoirement en cours de processus, le graveur est neuf
2) sous windows, extrêmement lent ce qui ne me gêne pas vu que je ne l'utilise jamais
3) parfois des ralentissements sous ubuntu (firefox, LibreOffice) avec plantages.
J'ai suspecté un problème de mémoire vive (2Go) j'ai donc testé la mémoire avec memtest86+ toute la nuit, résultat 0 errors.
Faut-il ajouter des gigas ?
Quelqu'un(e) aurait-il ou elle une idée pour faire d'autres tests et dans quelle direction ? Merci

Avec 2Go ce serait plus vivace avec une 32bits et surtout avec une Xubuntu.
Sinon, passe ton HDD par smartmontools

A quoi te sert neubot ? (pas pigé l'usage)

no talloc stackframe at ../source3/param/loadparm.c:4864, leaking memory
C’est un bug samba (voir la réponse #61 pour éventuellement pouvoir corriger). Mais il y a sans doute autre chose à l’origine des problèmes rencontrés.

Bonjour J'ai essayé le réponse #61 indiquée par nany (merci) - je ne vois plus apparaître le leaking memory, c'est déjà ça, ça me plaisait pas trop mais ça ne règle pas le problème... Je vais rajouter de la RAM déjà...

1 mois plus tard, me revoilà, because un peu beaucoup occupé... avec mon problème d'imprimante bloquée non résolu, j'ai fini par réinstaller ubuntu 14.04.2 à partir d'une iso sur DVD, Classique. Et l'imprimante est repartie tout de suite... Ubuntu devient donc instable au bout d'un certain temps ? Le système est plus rapide maintenant. Merci de votre aide
