[Résolu] Ubuntu sur SSD ne démarre plus (OS not found)

Bonjour,

J'ai un portable Sony Vaio (modèle SVF1521E2EW) qui tourne avec un SSD Crucial (le pc a 18 mois, le SSD 3).

J'ai pris l'avion hier matin pour partir en week-end. A l'arrivée, j'ai ensuite voulu allumer le pc, et là cata : "Operating system not found". Pourtant, dans le BIOS je vois bien "Hard Disk Drive : 512 Gb", donc le SSD est bien détecté. Mais je ne peux plus démarrer dessus, j'obtiens l'erreur « Operating System not found ».

J'ai été ce matin à une petite boutique de réparation près de chez moi. Le gars m'a dit que j'avais probablement paumé des fichiers de démarrage (je suppose qu'il parle de GRUB). Je ne sais pas si c'est possible, que des fichiers disparaissent tout seuls ? Ca me paraît louche Il m'a dit que les SSD Crucial étaient de mauvaise qualité et qu'il fallait prendre un Samsung pro.

J'ai essayé toutes les configurations possibles du BIOS (UEFI/Legacy, Security mode enabled/disabled), impossible de rebooter sur le SSD.

Je ne pense pas que ce soit un problème matériel, hier soir tout fonctionnait bien, et tout à l'air en place (broches,...). Le pc a peut-être été secoué lors des contrôles sécurité à l'aéroport (avec la délicatesse légendaire du personnel), ou peut-être c'est l'altitude (il était avec moi en cabine, pas dans la soute) ? Mais j'ai justement pris un SSD pour diminuer le risque de problème mécanique, donc j'espère que ce n'est pas ça.

Je viens de lire le tuto sur la résinstallation de GRUB. J'ai copié le rapport ici : http://paste.ubuntu.com/11144606/. J'hésite à lancer Boot Repair, car quand j'ai installé Ubuntu sur le SSD, j'ai chiffré toute la partition, je ne sais pas si cela peut empêcher la réparation.

A votre avis :
1/ D'où ça peut venir ? C'est possible que ce soit dû au voyage en avion ? Que puis-je essayer sans passer par le mode bazooka (réinstallation système,...) ?
2/ Puis-je lancer Boot Repair sur une partition chiffrée ? (j'ai monté la partition avec mon mot de passe, je ne sais pas si cela suffit)
3/ Y a-t-il un moyen de charger une config GRUB qui date d'il y a quelques jours (quand ça fonctionnait bien), ou de rétablir ces fichiers qui se seraient égarés ?

Edit : Boot Repair vient de m'afficher ce message :

La session actuelle est en mode Legacy. Veuillez redémarrer l'ordinateur, et utiliser ce logiciel dans une session EFI. Cela vous permettra d'utiliser cette fonctionnalité. Par exemple, utilisez un live-USB de Boot-Repair-Disk-64bit (www.sourceforge.net/p/boot-repair-cd), après avoir vérifié que votre BIOS est réglé pour démarrer l'USB en mode EFI.

Mais je croyais que UEFI c'était une sécurité de Windows (pour empêcher les autres OS) et qu'il fallait l'éviter ? Je suis paumé... sad

Non je ne peux pas y accéder.
Etant en vacances je n'ai pas de support externe suffisamment gros pour faire une sauvegarde.
Réinstaller GRUB supprime les données persos ?

Sinon est-ce que je boot-info apporte un éclairage sur le problème (en dehors du chiffrement) ?

edit : pas possible de voir mes données, en admin j'ai fait un ls -al et je vois uniquement ceci :

Je vais essayer de positiver
   Ton SSD va très bien. Le boot-repair a même trouvé du logiciel dans la partie cryptage.

J'en déduis que la partie de boot-efi n'est pas listée dans ce rapport.
Pour quelle raison, cette session n'a pas été lancée avec un bios positionné en EFI?
        => ton micro a certainement été bricolé... Remets d'abord EFI et refais un boot-info.
     Comme je suis optimiste, Cela va peut-être suffire.

En UEFI impossible de démarrer sur le live-CD :-( Je retombe chaque fois sur l'écran du Vaio Care.

Est-ce le CD qui  t'a servi a faire l'installation?

Je ne connais pas les écrans de démarrage en réparation  des SONY Mais, il se pourrait qu'ils soient comme les autres et que tu puisses trouver des fichiers EFI permettant de booter car ils sont bien présents au bon endroit.

AJOUT:  Tu as dis ' hier soir tout fonctionnait bien" C'est donc plutôt entre hier soir et ce matin qu'il faut axer tes recherches.

Oui c'est ce CD.

Désolé mais je ne comprends pas ce que je dois faire. En UEFI je ne peux pas booter sur le live CD, mais si je comprends bien il faut être en UEFI pour pouvoir faire la réparation ? Dans ce cas que dois-je faire ?

Édit : pour les dates mercredi soir tout fonctionnait bien. J'ai éteins le PC normalement. Jeudi matin avion (PC en cabine, pas en soute). Jeudi après- midi je l'allume mais impossible de démarrer l'OS, je n'ai absolument rien fait à part ce voyage (PC pas allumé dans l'avion).

Essaies d'appuyer sur la touche F2   pendant que tu mets sous tension.  Sicela ne marche pas avec F2  essayes avec F12 (C'est certainement le  démarrage rapide). Cela devrait te permettre d'accéder  au bios. C'est quand même bizarre que le 'care' ne te le propose pas.

Je me suis mal exprimé : j'accède bien au BIOS (l'écran Vaio Care permet d'y accéder, entre diverses autres options). Mais une fois dans le BIOS, je change leMode Boot en UEFI (au lieu de Legacy), ensuite je redémarre (Save and exit). Le lecteur de CD se lance bien (il est positionné en 2e lancement, entre le Internal Hard Drive et External Device, donc ce n'est pas un problème d'ordre de lancement), puis je retombe sur le même écran VAIO Care me demandant de réessayer. Si je remets Legacy, je démarre bien sur la session du Live CD. C'est bien cette option UEFI qui m'empêche de démarrer sur le CD.

C'est plutôt le CD qui n'a probablement pas ce qu'il faut.
Je te propose de passer par une clé USB  d'abord en téléchargeant  http://releases.ubuntu.com/trusty/ubunt … -amd64.iso
qui provient du site officiel  http://releases.ubuntu.com/
puis tu utiliseras un logiciel pour la mettre sur clé USB du style liliusbcreator ou unetbootin.

Question: Aurais-tu viré windows à un moment donné? et supprimé ses fichiers de boot de cette partition?

Je n'arrive pas à trouver un document montrant les possibilités du bios de  ton micro.
Si tu as vu une option administrateur, essaie de l'activer même si elle a besoin d'un mot de passe (que tu mettras le plus simple possible)
et tu exploreras toutes le possibilités, Il pourrait y en avoir une qui te montrera la  liste des fichiers de boot.

J'ai eu un Windows, vendu avec le PC. A l'époque j'avais mis un Ubuntu à côté. Puis il y a 3 mois, j'ai acheté le SSD, et je n'y ai mis que Ubuntu seul. S'il y a des fichiers qui ont été supprimés, ce n'est pas manuellement. Et je n'ai pas eu de problème de boot jusqu'à hier.

Bizarre...

J'ai créé une carte SD avec Ubuntu dessus. Je l'insère, je lance le pc, et là le système démarre... Depuis le SSD. J'ai essayé plusieurs fois, en repassant par le BIOS, en retirant la SD, ça reboote bien comme il faut.
Je ne sais pas si c'est la carte SD qui a « réparé » le boot, ou si c'est une coincidence (j'ai du tenter une cinquantaine de fois depuis hier).

La seule différence avec avant, c'est que je soulevais le capot du portable et cela l'allumait. Désormais je dois appuyer sur le bouton Power. Je n'ai pas trouvé ce réglage dans le BIOS, je ne sais pas trop où cela se paramètre.

Toujours est-il que cela fonctionne, je ne sais pas trop pourquoi. Merci pour votre aide smile

Par contre j'ai perdu la possibilité de me connecter en wifi, seul le filaire fonctionne. Je vais attendre un peu, si ça se trouve cela va aussi revenir seul roll

Bonsoir. Tout est bien qui fini bien.
Vu de loin, Cela s'apparente à une fonction de mise en sommeil /hibernation qui se transforme en arrêt définitif lorsqu'il manque du courant pour conserver le minima vital de données dans la RAM.

Une explication possible:  Il a perdu la mémoire de l'emplacement des fichiers de boot.
Et en standard, il doit faire comme tous les micros  EFI
             Lorsque tu  mets en route normalement, il utilise cette mémoire  et ne trouve rien...
              Lorsque tu lui mets un autre support, il rebâtit cette mémoire en parcourant le disque à la recherche des fichiers de boot.
