Carte graphique qui chauffe pour casi rien
bonjour
depuis la mises a jour vers 15.04 avant en 14.04 (j'ai pas utilisé la 14.10)
mon pc chauffe depuis et je pense que le probleme vient de la carte graphique
avant en 14.04 des video en 1080p sa chauffer et le ventilateur tournait je trouve sa un peu normal
mais depuis en 15.04 juste avec firefox les ventilateur tourne a fond !!
quesque je peut faire pour y remedier
merci d'avance pour votre aide

je viens d'essayer d'installer le pilotes propriétaires mais j'ai abandonner afin d'avoir plus de solutions/réponses ici
comment savoir si il utilise optimus ? (certainement oui)

Tu as bien 2 GPU.
nVidia Optimus : la vidéo hybride
Je n'ai pas de PC avec cette technologie, mais sur le forum il y a pas mal de discussions sur le sujet.

Effectivement ton pc est équipé de la technologie optimus, je te suggère d'installer bumblebee auquel on peut rajouter le paquet intel-microcode s'il n'est pas déjà installé pour voir si ton cpu chauffe moins :
sudo apt purge nvidia*
sudo apt install intel-microcode
sudo apt install bumblebeePC : i7-4770k 24Go RX 580 120Go SSD + 1Tox2 HDD: Archlinux/Plasma

comme avant sa chauffe quand juste pour le demarage de firefox

Bonjour,
Je suis aussi équipé de la technologie Optimus et mon PC chauffe...
J'ai donc :
1- désinsaller tout les drivers nvidia
2- installer bumblebee
Mais au final ma carte graphique fonctionne toujours (je n'en ai pas l'utilité sous ubuntu)...
$ glxinfo | grep rendering
direct rendering: Yesps : Erreur lors de l'utilisation d'optirun
$ optirun glxgears
[ 311.515208] [ERROR]Cannot access secondary GPU - error: Could not load GPU driver
[ 311.515284] [ERROR]Aborting because fallback start is disabled.Un peu d'aide serait le bienvenue !
