Lenteur au démarrage

Bonjour à tous,
depuis quelques temps mon ordinateur est de plus en plus lent au démarrage.
Une fois démarré, l'ouverture de Firefox ou de Chromium le freeze pendant quelques secondes puis tout va bien...

Après quelques recherches, j'ai compris qu'il fallait utiliser dmesg pour voir le log de démarrage. Mais là, je n'y comprends pas grand chose, j'ai besoin d'un avis éclairé...

Avec un disque rotatif et 3,5 Go de ram, 11 secondes, c'est très bien !

As-tu un SSD ?
si oui, donne ton dmesg complet,
si non, le ralentissement est après l'arrivée sur le bureau, non ? (tu parlais de tes navigateurs).

Le problème c'est que en chronométrant, je suis près des 2 minutes...
En revanche, la réponse de dmesg finit à 34 secondes. Donc pendant environ 1 minute et demi c'est le mystère...
Autrement, Je n'ai pas de SSD

Peut-être est-ce effectivement lié au bureau; il y a un freeze au démarrage des navigateurs (au démarrage et durant toute la durée d'une session)...

J'ai aussi près de 10 secondes entre ces opréations là:

"configuration de la wifi" : t'en sers-tu dès le démarrage ?
si oui, tu peux essayer ce que ça donne en désactivant l'IPv6 dans le système (cf. Doc) et dans network-manager, et en redémarrant.
si non, tu peux blacklister son module. (Tu pourras toujours le réactiver à la volée) :
Empêcher le chargement d'un module :
  éditer le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
  et y ajouter une ligne

blacklist nom-du-module

  Le blacklistage permet néanmoins de charger manuellement un module :

sudo modprobe -a nom-du-module # a comme Apporter

Cela dit, ça n'explique que 10''. Donc je te propose de redémarrer, et dès que tu arrives sur le bureau :

dmesg > dmesg-date-et-heure.txt

puis tu colles tranquillou ce fichier txt ici, entre balises-code.

C'est étrange, il s'agit d'un ordinateur fixe qui est relié à ma box par ethernet... pas de wifi, pas de carte wifi non plus...
Mais bon après désactivation de l'Ipv6 j'ai effectivement gagné une dizaine de seconde...

Bon lshw non plus ne voit pas de carte wifi. Ta carte réseau filaire utilise le module r8169 auquel nous ne toucherons pas.

Lance cette commande par copié-collé :

Elle met en pratique l'idée du #4 et...
elle t'écrit en prime le mémo pour réinsérer le module wifi dans le noyau, pour le jour où tu en auras envie ou besoin.

Ensuite, tu redémarreras et donneras le nouveau dmesg, histoire de mesurer le gain.


On voit des "ACPI Warning" qui te coûtent 6 secondes (de 6. à 12.),
mais je ne sais comment les traiter.
Si quelqu'un le sait, qu'il veuille bien intervenir, merci !

Si tu ne te sers pas de la webcam, on peut désactiver son module aussi.
Mais c'est plus pour être sûr qu'elle ne sera pas activée à ton insu que pour le gain de temps (0,03 s).

Par curiosité : tu arrives donc à te connecter à ton portable à domicile, depuis le boulot, est-ce compliqué à mettre en place ? Connais-tu un bon tuto ?

Sur le fil "réseaux", après "sur les APCI warnings" peut-être pourrais-tu rajouter les "19'' pour la connexion filaire" ?

*Mes erreurs VGA sont sans importance, le câble VGA ne passe pas les 4 bits Monitor ID. Les signaux reliés à la masse.

Bravo, c'est ce qu'on appelle "démarrer en cinq sec" !
Cela dit, si ta / est en ext4, j'ai peine à croire que tu n'aies pas une ligne comportant
"EXT4-fs" et ": re-mounted. Opts: errors=remount-ro"
puisque ça découle de cette paire de lignes de nos fstab :

#    /  was on /dev/(...) during installation
UUID=(...) /               ext4    errors=remount-ro 0       1

Peux-tu vérifier, s'il te plaît ?

1) Donne

ls -l .xsession*

2) Tu dis que tu en es à 1'25''. Peux-tu :
- ouvrir le fichier /etc/default/grub
- modifier la ligne

#GRUB_INIT_TUNE="480 440 1"

en

GRUB_INIT_TUNE="480 440 1"

- faire

sudo update-grub

- éteindre complètement ton pc,
- redémarrer en chronométrant
     le délai entre la mise sous tension et le bip de démarrage de grub,
     le délai entre le bip de démarrage de grub et la fenêtre de connexion (ou, si tu as réglé en login automatique, l'arrivée sur le bureau) ?

sudo apt-get install ncdu

(le paquet ne pèse que 26 ko),
et donne les premières lignes de

ncdu

  Naturellement, s'il y a un nom confidentiel, tu le modifies.
Le retour ressemblera à ceci

je ne sais pas ce que ça signifie, mais chez toi la connexion établie est ainsi formulée :

[nom du module] 0000:03:00.0 eth0: link up

alors que, me semble-t-il, on voit d'ordinaire, comme chez Ludovic :

ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready

Que sont les "screenlets" ?


Par contre, il y a deux gros malaises certains, peut-être trois :
1) peut-être /.config à 70 Mio (dans mes 12.04 : 18 et... 2 Mio), Mais surtout :
2) /.cache à 1,9 Gio !!! (dans mes 12.04 : 56 et 57 Mio),
3) /.local à    2 Gio !!!   (dans mes 12.04 :  4 et 0,6 Mio).
  Là, c'est délirant...
Parce que ce sont des répertoires-système lus à chaque lancement de ton /home. Et là tu demandes à ton système de manipuler 4 Go au lieu de 0,06 !

Dans la fenêtre de ncdu, descends dans l'arborescence (flèche bas, Entrée) et donne les retours, tant que tu trouves du volumineux.
(Pour remonter, flèche haut jusqu'à la ligne supérieure "/..", Entrée.)
  Plus de détails dans ce tuto ncdu : ./viewtopic.php?id=1761411 (comme il est très perfectible, ton retour sera bienvenu).

Ah oui, mais je n'avais pas vu ces lignes, ce n'est pas du tout au même endroit.

Moko, le cache peut-il être en rapport avec le nombre d'images ? un dossier d'images de 106,0GiB nécessite beaucoup de vignettes, si elles sont activées.

Les vignettes sont dans un autre répertoire, "/.thumbnails".
