Pour les caches des navigateurs, purge-les depuis les navigateurs eux-mêmes.

Supprime (en gardant le répertoire normal ~/.thumbnails) ~/.cache/thumbnails (0,5 Go et indû !)

N.B.1 : Quand on supprime par ncdu, la corbeille n'est pas utilisée.

N.B.2 : Attention à la place du point !
devant /   le point signifie "à partir du répertoire courant",
derrière /   il signifie "élément caché".


zeitgeist :
  Cette application est la trouvaille de Canonical pour stocker
- les positions de tes fenêtres
- et surtout les noms et emplacements des fichiers que tu as ouverts récemment ou... un jour.
  Si Canonical voulait concentrer des infos détaillées à la disposition de services de renseignement ayant connaissance de backdoors comme sous windows, pourrait-il proposer mieux ?,

J'ai désinstallé le mien en apprenant ce qu'il faisait et en constant qu'il occupait 100 Mo soit plus de 50% de mon home.
Pour info le tien est 2,5 fois plus lourd que l'ex mien : ça suggère que le répertoire /.local/zeitgeist ne se purge pas, qu'il garderait tout !
Pour info, mes deux homes les plus utilisés pèsent à eux deux 300 Mo. Compare avec ton zeitgeist...

Il est possible de désinstaller le paquet zeitgeist et ensuite de supprimer ce répertoire. Et de réinstaller ce paquet si on le préfère.

Quand tu auras fait ta première salve de purges, redonne ncdu, pour qu'on se situent avant la suite.

zeitgeist occupe certaines ressources de la machine.

Sinon, pour voir simplement la taille d'un répertoire : du -hs
exemple :

~$ du -hs  ~/.mozilla

Oui les sauvegardes des courriels à faire de temps en temps…

Jette un oeil à /.Téléchargements (qui est caché et qui n'est pas /Téléchargements)
d'après son contenu (en mode graphique) tu verras
- s'il est toujours actif ou non (dates),
- par quels logiciels tu l'as alimenté,
- et donc si tu peux ou non transférer ses contenus dans d'autres répertoires, puis le supprimer enfin.


Mais surtout, examinons avec ncdu ton /.config à 66,7 Mio (dans mes 12.04 : 18 et 2 Mio).

Oui, il doit y avoir un lien.
Pour avoir des détails, quand nous aurons examiné et éventuellement nettoyé /.config, tu redémarreras et tu donneras ton nouveau dmesg.

Quand je disais "les éléments de moins de 1 Mo ne m'intéressent pas", c'était dans la phase initiale de repérage du volumineux.
Mais pour ncdu /.config, je te prie de tout donner.
Ensuite on fera de même pour /.cache et pour /.local
Naturellement, s'il y a un "truc-confidentiel.ini", tu le renommes.

Tu as 4 navigateurs au moins (ffox, cette sal*té de chromium, et 2 légers : qupzilla et arora)
je te propose de sauvegarder ailleurs tes marque-pages puis

sudo apt-get remove --purge nom-d'un navigateur

puis tu vérifies que le dossier /nom-d'un navigateur/ a disparu de /.config/.

Je serais curieux de voir le contenu de /Google/, aussi.

Lance libreoffice, vérifie si c'est l'édition 3 ou 4, et referme-le.
Ensuite supprime le dossier inutile, entre /3/ et /4/.

Si tu entends des .wav inutiles dans /user/gallery, tu peux les virer aussi.

Donne aussi

sudo blkid|grep swap ; cat /etc/fstab|grep swap ; cat /proc/swaps ; cat /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume|grep UUID

Il n'y a pas d'incohérence entre les 4 endroits où est répertoriée la swap, très bien !

Maintenant redémarre, toujours avec chrono et donne dmesg, s'il te plaît.
