[Résolu] Démarrage impossible : "entering rescue mode... grub rescue"

Bonjour,

J'ai un problème au démarrage de mon PC où cohabitent normalement Ubuntu 15.04 et Windows 7 en dual boot. Je n'ai pas réussi à résoudre ce problème malgré diverses tentatives...

Le problème
Quand mon ordinateur démarre, je n'arrive pas au GRUB, j'ai tout de suite le message suivant :

Edit : la solution est donnée au post #9 : il suffisait de changer l'ordre de boot des disques dur dans le BIOS

Première solution testée : Boot-repair

J'ai tenté d'utiliser le réparateur de démarrage comme indiqué ici Comment réinstaller GRUB. Une fois le processus terminé j'obtiens le fichier suivant mais après redémarrage le problème persiste

Deuxième solution : via un LiveUSB (procédure sans chroot)
J'ai testé la méthode suivante de la même page Comment réinstaller GRUB, qui s'intitule Via un CD Ubuntu (procédure sans chroot)
Seulement quand je tape dans un terminal sudo os-prober, j'ai le message suivant

Troisième solution testée : Super Grub2
J'ai vu la solution [TUTO] Démarrer Ubuntu avec Super Grub2 Disk en UEFI mais apparemment le fichier iso ne peut pas se mettre sur clé USB depuis une session Ubuntu. Il faut obligatoirement passer par Windows et YUMI. Or je n'ai pas accès à ma session Windows...

Je suis preneur de toute solution qui m'éviterait d'avoir à réinstaller l'OS entier... Merci !

Dans le fichier Boot-Info de ton post #1, je vois plusieurs signes inquiétants concernant la table de partition de ton disque sdb, celui sur lequel est installé Ubuntu :

Oui j'ai déjà fait une copie de sauvegarde au cas où.
Mais que veulent dire ces messages d'erreurs ? C'est le disque dur qui flanche et qui ne va pas tarder à me lâcher ou c'est juste un problème avec le Grub ?

Dans ce post je donne des indications pour tester le disque dur. Romuald-25 donne aussi des instructions dans la même discussion (post #23 et #24). Inspire-toi de ça pour tester ton disque dur (comme tu as deux disques du même modèle - HD103SJ - ce serait intéressant de donner le résultat obtenu pour les deux disques, même si un seul est supposé être malade)

Pour moi, il n'y a rien qui est mauvais signe dans les résultats que tu as collés dans ton post #5. Tes disques sont en parfaite santé.

D'accord merci.
Mais du coup, si on revient au problème initial, si ce n'est pas un problème de disque dur, quel est le souci ?
Il y a-t-il moyen de réparer ou faut-il que je réinstalle complètement Ubuntu ?

Je pense qu'il faut réinstaller complètement Ubuntu avec création au préalable d'une nouvelle table de partitions sur le disque sdb (tout ce qu'il y a sur le disque sdb sera perdu). Si tu pouvais déconnecter ton disque sda pour ne laisser connecté que le disque sdb (pour éviter la bonne grosse connerie de te tromper de disque), tu pourrais faire une installation en automatique (choix "Effacer le disque et installer Ubuntu"). L'avantage c'est que l'installateur créerait automatiquement la nouvelle table de partitions et ferait automatiquement le partitionnement.

Bon j'ai au final tout réinstallé et cela fonctionne. Mais, en redémarrant après l'installation, j'avais toujours le même fameux message :

error: no such device: 5e4364d7-6d8e-4e08-8c79-c20a86420375
Entering rescue mode...
grub rescue>

Du coup j'ai compris que le problème venait du fait que, pour une raison inconnue, mon PC bootait sur le mauvais disque dur, c'est-à-dire pas sur celui sur lequel est installé le Grub...
Après avoir modifié l'ordre de boot, tout fonctionne très bien. Donc à mon avis j'ai réinstallé pour rien...
