Booter un autre os (Daphile) depuis grub2.

Bonjour,

voici mon fichier 40_Custom

jmp@ZBOX-BI320-Ubuntu:~$ cat /etc//grub.d/40_custom
#!/bin/sh
exec tail -n +3 $0
# This file provides an easy way to add custom menu entries. Simply type the
# menu entries you want to add after this comment. Be careful not to change
# the 'exec tail' line above.

menuentry "Daphile" {
   insmod chain
   insmod ext2
   set root=(hd0,8)
   chainloader +1
}

(???,gpt8)
Si quelqu'un sait m'aider ...

=================== Suggested repair
The default repair of the Boot-Repair utility would reinstall the grub-efi-amd64-signed of sda5, using the following options: sda3/boot/efi,
Additional repair would be performed: unhide-bootmenu-10s fix-windows-boot use-standard-efi-file

=================== Final advice in case of suggested repair
Please do not forget to make your BIOS boot on sda (1000GB) disk!

The boot files of [The OS now in use - Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS] are far from the start of the disk. Your BIOS may not detect them. You may want to retry after creating a /boot partition (EXT4, >200MB, start of the disk). This can be performed via tools such as gParted. Then select this partition via the [Separate /boot partition:] option of [Boot-Repair]. (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BootPartition)

The boot files of [The OS now in use - Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS] are far from the start of the disk. Your BIOS may not detect them. You may want to retry after creating a /boot/efi partition (FAT32, 100MB~250MB, start of the disk, boot flag). This can be performed via tools such as gParted. Then select this partition via the [Separate /boot/efi partition:] option of [Boot-Repair].

If your computer reboots directly into Windows, try to change the boot order in your BIOS.
If your BIOS does not allow to change the boot order, change the default boot entry of the Windows bootloader.
For example you can boot into Windows, then type the following command in an admin command prompt:
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\...\grub*.efi

=================== User settings
The settings chosen by the user will not act on the boot.

sda8: __________________________________________________________________________

    File system:       ext4
    Boot sector type:  Grub2 (v1.99-2.00)
    Boot sector info: Grub2 (v2.00) is installed in the boot sector of sda8
                       and looks at sector 1945674818 of the same hard drive
                       for core.img. core.img is at this location and looks
                       for (,gpt8)/grub.
    Operating System:
    Boot files:        /grub/grub.cfg /boot/grub/grub.cfg
                       /grub/i386-pc/core.img /boot/grub/i386-pc/core.img

Je pense que le pb vient de ce ... "core.img is at this location and looks for (,gpt8)/grub."

menuentry "clé Usb-live ou CD-ROM"  {
	insmod part_msdos
	insmod vfat
	search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root xxxx-xxxx
	chainloader +1
}

En remplaçant les xxxx-xxxx par l'UUID de la partitionFAT32 de ta clé usb.
Puis une maj de grub

sudo update-grub

Voici mon /etc/grub.d/40_custom :

#!/bin/sh
exec tail -n +3 $0
# This file provides an easy way to add custom menu entries. Simply type the
# menu entries you want to add after this comment. Be careful not to change
# the 'exec tail' line above.

# Daphile ...
menuentry "Daphile" {
        insmod part_gpt
        insmod chain
        set root='(hd1,gpt8)'
        chainloader /Daphile.efi
}

@malbo ?

Boot0004* UEFI: Corsair Voyager Mini 1.00	ACPI(a0341d0,0)PCI(14,0)USB(4,0)HD(1,8,7b8ff8,04030201)..BO

# Daphile ...
menuentry "Daphile" {
        insmod part_gpt
        insmod chain
        set root='(hd1,gpt8)'
        chainloader /grub/grub.cfg
}

AHCI bla bla bla
- sans la clé USB du type devive (hd1,gpt8) not found

Just in case !

J.
