Partition

Bonjour,
J'ai installé Ubuntu14.04.3 sur mon ordi à la place de Windows 10. Je souhaite réinstaller windows en dual boot mais je n'y arrive pas. Je démarre l'ordi sur le DVD windows mais rien ne se passe. Je n'arrive pas non plus à partitionner mon disque en utilisant Gparted. Je n'ai plus de partition NTFS. Bref je nage. Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ?

Je te prie de démarrer une session de ton Ubuntu installé, de faire un Boot-Info depuis cette session et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.
D'autre part, peux-tu donner le nom du modèle de ton ordi et son fabricant ?

Bonjour,

@LESCAMELA : j'ai supprimé ton deuxième message qui n'était qu'une citation du premier sans information supplémentaire.

Par ailleurs, le lien "Signaler aux modérateurs" ne doit pas être utilisé pour attirer l'attention sur ton problème mais seulement en cas de problème de contenu de message en infraction avec les règles du forum (spam, insultes...)

Ton premier problème, c'est ça. Il n'y a pas de "raison" que le DVD ne démarre pas. Vérifie ton bios (ordre de boot), le lecteur DVD et e DVD lui-même.

Si tu tentes de le faire depuis ton Linux installé, c'est "un peu" normal. Essaie depuis le live-cd. Mais pour faire un dual-boot, inutile de formater ton Ubuntu.

Ton boot-info a un peu parlé.
Dans ce groupe, on installe souvent ubuntu après windows, Personnellement j'ai souvent installé windows après ubuntu.
Je peux te dire une chose importante: IL faut environ un espace entre 40 et 60 Go de libre (ou formaté NTFS et surtout pas EXT4 qu'il ne connait pas ) pour qu'il s'installe.
Ton boot-info, montre qu'il n'y a rien de libre. Je pense que l'installateur de windows a un bug et qu'il n'a pas prévu que ce cas pouvait lui arriver.
Je te conseille, avec gparted de lui faire un peu de place  dans SDA1. Cela devrait être possible de retrécir cette partition car il y a 839G  de libre.

Ce qui signifie que tu as peu de données dans cette partition. Aussi je te recommande le scénario suivant :
1) sauvegarde sur disque dur externe ou sur clé USB des données que tu peux avoir dans cette partition
2) installation de Windows 10 sans tenir compte de Ubuntu en écrasant tout ce qu'il y a sur le disque dur et vérification que Windows 10 fonctionne bien (*).
3) installation toute neuve de Ubuntu en cohabitation avec Windows 10 en faisant attention à installer Ubuntu dans le même mode que Windows 10 (voir tuto)

(*) si tu "nages" pour installer Windows 10 tout seul dans ce disque dur, demande de l'aide sur un forum Windows

Bonjour, encore merci pour vos réponses.
J'avais Windows 10 sur mon PC, j'ai fait un dual boot avec Mint 16, j'ai aussi installé Ubuntu et tout fonctionnait très bien. En allumant le PC je choisissais mon système d'exploit. Seulement l'ordre me génait, window s'allumait par défaut. J'ai souhaité que Ubuntu s'allume par défaut, alors j'ai viré Mint 16 et réinstallé Ubuntu mais "a la place de windows" cette fois-ci. Et là impossible de remettre Windows. Il semble que je n'ai plus de mbr ni de partition NTFS. J'ai essayé d'installer en dual boot, windows 7, Handylinux, Opensuse, Mint 17 mais ça ne marche pas. Mon PC redémarre systématiquement sur Ubuntu. Merci de votre aide.

Ce que tu as sur le disque n'a pas d'importance.
Il faut que tu trouves soit le cdrom/dvdrom d'installation de windows, soit la clé USB au cas ou cela serait windows10.
Il faut que tu mettes en route en allant immédiatement dans le bios.
      Si tu ne sais pas faire et que la mise en route de ubuntu te propose un choix, en prenant la dernière ligne tu seras dans le bios.
Dans le bios il faut que tu mettes prioritaire le support de boot (cdrom ou clé USB) par rapport au disque.
Et cela devrait démarrer

Bonsoir,
Je sais faire, aller dans le bios et choisir de démarrer sur le CD/DVD. C'est de cette façon que j'ai installé Ubuntu et Mint 16. Mais ça ne marche pas quand je veux réinstaller windows. Ubuntu démarre systématiquement.

Je t'ai dit plus haut de vérifier ton lecteur de DVD... il est peut-être simplement HS. Sinon fabrique une clé usb bootable de ton W7.
