augmentation du cache apt

slt - je suis supra novice sous linux et j'ai un souci avec apt qui ne sais plus lire la liste des paquets
apres avoir consulter plusieurs post je vois que l'on peut remplacer le fichier status par status-old
ou bien meme simplement augmenter le cache limite apt dans apt.conf,
mais en fait tout cela et bien je ne sais pas le faire
j'essaie de deplacer le fichier status afin de renommer ensuite status-old mais un encart jaune apparait " fichier non lisible" pareil pour la mise en corbeille ou la suppression
et pour ce qui est de mon essaie d'augmentation du cache, j'arrive dans un dossier apt.conf.d
et là........... où quoi faire?:cool:

ce serait plus simple que tu donnes les messages d'erreurs.
Que renvoient les commandes

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

??

si je lance sous KDE aptget-installer :

La base de données APT n'a pas pu être ouverte ! Cela peut être dû à une mauvaise configuration de APT ou à un problème similaire. Essayez de lancer apt-setup et apt-get update dans un terminal et voyez si cela résout le problème.

si je reboot en mode recovery ça se termine par :

the package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened

Hummm...
Déjà, tu peux faire

kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list

et éditer le fichier en commentant (en ajoutant un # au début de la ligne) les lignes du cd.
(les lignes cd, c'est celles qui ressemblent à ça : "cdrom://Kubuntu 8.04.1 _Hardy...")

(si tu sais pas, donne le résultat de 

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

)
Si ça corrige rien, redonne le résultat de update / upgrade (après la manip')

en effet je sais pas trop,

à noter qu'en essayant de resoudre mon probleme d'erreurs de lecture des listes de paquets en augmentant le cache apt sans savoir le faire j'ai modifier le contenu du fichier racine/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/00trustcdrom
où il est maintenant ecrit uniquement : APT::Cache-Limit "42123456";
au contraire du texte préalable que l'on va dire perdu/oublier/effacer...

Mon problème est presque resolu,

j'ai edité dans kate le fichier /var/lib/dpkg/status ainsi que le status-old et intervertit
les contenus sans essayer de renommer les fichiers.

ensuite apt-get update / upgrade  -  reboot recovery  -  repair broken package  - yes, i ....

mais bon j'ai maintenant 600mo de paquets installés considérés comme cassés qui ne demande qu'à etre effacer à la prochaine utilisation d'aptget installer.

y a t'il une solution autre que l'effacement?

Moi, je vois qu'une seule solution :

1) Tu insères un LiveCD de Kubuntu (version 8.04 de préférence)
2) Tu le réinstalles (au préalable tu sauvegardes tes données persos sur un disque dur externe, une clé USB ou sur une autre partition)
3) Tu as un système niquel... cool

Yep. J'pense que t'as plus cassé que réparé, là. Pour les paquets cassés, faut essayer de réparer avec des trucs du genre

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get -f install

et si règle rien, désinstaller, éventuellement de force.

je vais essayer de reinstaller tous ces fichiers qui le sont déjà

y a pas le choix, la réinstallation d'uniquement les paquets abimés ne fonctionne pas,
faut une réinstalle globale.
