Problème double carte graphique

Bonjour,

C'est un pc portable MSI, acheté tel quel et que je n'ai jamais ouvert d'ailleurs !
Du coup, c'est l'écran d'origine, les cartes graphiques d'origines...

L'ubuntu à fonctionné à merveille pendant 3 mois avant que ça marche.

Euh du coup je sais absolument pas où est branché l'écran

Mais quand j'ai installé Ubuntu, tout c'est bien configuré tout seul...

sinon j'ai essayé ton var.conf, je le met depuis la console, en gardant bien uniquement tes sections, donc moins de sections que mon var.conf initial.
Et au reboot, le problème est le même et l'ancien var.conf à été restauré...
Je précise que j'utilise sudo nano pour l'éditer, et qu'avant le reboot, je le réouvre et il a bien pris en compte les changements.

Pour la question des cartes graphiques, je n'ai pas de cartes graphiques intel à proprement parlé, mais le processeur Intel est à même de servir de processeur graphique, comme sur les PC sans cartes graphique quoi.

Et donc en théorie, pour les applications gourmandes, la carte Nvidia prend le relais.

J'ai peur d'avoir mal expliqué.

Ça me semble être un cas classique puisque c'est le cas d'à peu prêt tous les nouveaux ordinateurs portables qui ont eu carte graphique.

Puisqu'il en existe des sans, avec uniquement le processeur qui fait le travail, et d'autres où, pour certaines applications on peut choisir de les lancer avec la carte graphique Nvidia. Du moins, c'est comme ça que je procède sur Windows.

Après quand ça marchait sur Nvidia, je ne sais pas comment cela fonctionnait..

mon xorg.conf ça donne quoi, au démarrage ? et le log associé
d' où vient ton xorg.conf ?
qui gère, à la volée le changement de carte vidéo?

ATTENTION: SI TU AS REBOOTÉ (OU STOPPER X), LE FICHIER LOG EST LE PRÉCÉDENT

J'ai tenté ton xorg.conf, (c'est que je disais en mettant var.conf), il est rejeté au reboot, et restauré par l'ancien.
Mon xorg.conf bah je sais pas, je n'y ai jamais touché avant ce problème.

Et sinon je suis incapable de te dire comme fonctionne le changement de carte, en fait je pense qu'il n'y en a pas, puisque c'est au lancement de l'application qu'on peut choisir quelle "carte" sera utilisé.

Je ne reboot pas mais lance startX.

suite à ton signalement, je confirme que les nouveaux portables ont bien deux cartes graphique,
une pour ne pas consommer et la seconde pour les jeux
par contre vu le retour de

Malheureusement une reconnu par Ubuntu et deux dans la boite...

En vrai ça ne me dérange pas de ne pas avoir accès à la carte graphique Nvidia depuis Ubuntu, donc si il est possible de résoudre mon problème plus facilement en isolant, sur Ubuntu uniquement, la carte Nvidia, je suis preneur.

Je n'ai pas d'interface graphique, lorsque je démarre j'ai le message running in low graphic mode.

Le seule moyen d'accéder à une pseudo interface grahique c'est de faire un startx depuis un noyau précédant.
Et là encore, ce n’est pas vraiment de l'interface graphique vu que les images ne chargent pas.

Alors je viens de regarder cette liste, et visiblement, il me faut le 352.55.
Quelqu'un pourrait-il me donner la suite d'instruction pour désinstaller proprement l'ancien driver et choisir lequel et réinstaller ?

installer un pilote nvidia pour une carte intel me semble inutile, il faudrait déjà commencer par celle qui est reconnu

J'ai dumper le log pour le récupérer et je suis aller sur le noyau le plus vieux.
Sur lequel je me suis connecté en version graphique sans soucis.
Je ne sais pas quelle carte graphique tourne, mais ça refonctionne, du moins sur ce noyau.
A noter que quand j'ouvre le xorg.conf sur ce noyau il est vide...

Je vais retenter le boot sur le dernier noyau et je vous tiens au courant.
