[Résolu] Pas de dual boot....
Bonjour
J'ai du faire une bêtise lors de l'installation d'ubuntu 14.04.3 sur un PC qui contenait déjà Win7.
Je n'ai pas eu la proposition "Installer Ubuntu à côté des autres".
Alors j'ai choisi "autre chose". J'ai bien créé les partitions swap et / (root) en suivant le tutoriel.
A l'allumage du PC, je n'ai pas le choix de l'OS.
Ubuntu démarre bien, certes.
J'ai bien tous les fichiers Windows dans le périphérique System (visible depuis Ubuntu)
Comment ajouter Win7 au boot ?

j'ai le même problème je ne peux activer a faire fonctionner Grub pour avoir windows7 et ubuntu
pouvez vous me guider ?
je débute dans linux.

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Boot-Repair]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

Tu as juste à passer la commande suivante depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé (n'essaie pas de la taper : utilise le copier-coller) :
sudo apt-get purge linux-signed*
Après cela, au prochain démarrage, tu auras une entrée pour Windows dans le menu Grub. Magique.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi je n'avais pas eu la proposition "Installer Ubuntu à côté des autres" vu que Win7 était déjà installé...
Peut-être un problème EFI / Grub que je n'ai pas bien compris. Lors du choix du boot pour la clé d'install, j'avais le choix entre EFI USB ou USB tout court et quand je sélectionnais cette dernière, j'avais une invit /grub et il fallait visiblement taper des commandes. Alors j'ai choisi EFI USB pour installer Ubuntu.
Mais bon, maintenant tout va bien ! Alors merci encore.

Comme tu avais démarré en mode EFI sur ta LiveUSB, l'installateur s'était positionné pour réaliser une installation de Ubuntu en mode EFI. Dans ce mode, l'installateur ne pouvait détecter qu'une installation de Windows faite en mode EFI. Ton Windows 7 installé en mode non-EFI ne pouvant pas être détecté par l'installateur, tu n'as pas eu la proposition "Installer Ubuntu à côté des autres".
Lors du choix du boot pour la clé d'install, j'avais le choix entre EFI USB ou USB tout court et quand je sélectionnais cette dernière, j'avais une invit /grub et il fallait visiblement taper des commandes. Alors j'ai choisi EFI USB pour installer Ubuntu.
Ton explication m'aide à comprendre dans quel contexte on peut arriver à ce problème.
Pour ce qui est de l'invit /grub dont tu parles, je n'ai pas d'explication sur l'origine de cette anomalie.
Je te prie de modifier le titre de ton PREMIER message afin qu'il devienne :
