[RÉSOLU] Bioshock Infinite refuse de se lancer : bogue de eon ?

Bonsoir,
décidément après Witcher 2, c'est au tour de Bioshock Infinite de faire des siennes...
Lancé depuis Steam il ne dit rien. Il tente de se lancer puis plus rien.
Lancé depuis le terminal, il est un peu plus bavard :

Une idée (ou plusieurs) de pourquoi le jeu ne va pas plus loin ?
Que signifie le « VPFS_Setup() failed » à la fin ?
Et puis c'est quoi eon ¹øÎûð©îûÊ ?!

eON c'est la technologie employée par Virtual Programming la société qui à porté Bioshock et aussi the witcher 2, d'ou le même problème sur tes 2 jeux. C'est un peu comme wine.

A tout hasard n'aurait tu pas modifié la configuration d'openAL? Certaines configuration font crasher le jeu apparemment, donc si tu l'as modifié efface ou renomme le fichier et lance le jeu.

Ah d'accord.
Par contre pour la configuration d'openAL... peut-être, mais comment on modifie ladite configuration ?
En plus je viens de regarder la page de la doc consacrée à openal et il me manquait le paquet libalut-dev...

il faut modifier le fichier .alsoftrc dans ton home, et normalement tu n'en as pas. Donc si tu en as pas dans ton home c'est que tu n'as rien modifié, et ce n'est pas le problème.

Je te conseille d'envoyer une demande de support ici (en anglais) ou bien de te faire rembourser pour ces 2 jeux, car ton problème reste bien mystérieux.

Tu peux toujours essayer avec une autre version du driver de carte graphique, on ne sais jamais.

Question idiote : est-ce que ces jeux sont censés fonctionner avec ton GPU, qui est une version mobile (tu joues vraisemblablement sur un portable) et donc avec certaines fonctionnalités manquantes ou limitées ? Je pose la question parce que lorsque le jeu teste les fonctionnalités 3D, on voit un "Supported and usable: EXT_stencil_two_side: no". Ça pourrait concerner une fonctionnalité optionnelle (certains paramètres graphiques avancés en jeu) tout comme ça pourrait être la liste de ce dont le jeu a besoin que le GPU gère au minimum...

À ta place, je me renseignerais sur le hub de Steam ou auprès des développeurs (du portage Linux) pour savoir si ces deux jeux prennent en charge ton matos.

non malheureusement je n'ai pas ce fichier.
Vue la tournure que ça prend je pense que l'envoi d'un courriel à cette société est la meilleure solution.
Je mets le sujet en [SUSPENDU] pour le moment, comme pour Witcher 2.

D'après les récentes avancées avec le sorceleur, gageons que ce jeu souffre du même problème, à savoir la carte graphique n'est pas suffisamment puissante et/ou le modèle ne lui va pas.
Bref, sujet passé en "résolu".
