Je ne l'ai pas encore parcouru entièrement. Mais ils expliquent qu'il y a un script (/usr/share/doc/conky-all/convert.lua) qui permet de faire la conversion du .conkyrc. Normalement les scripts lua ne doivent pas être modifiés. Pour l'utiliser, il faut le copier, le rendre executable. Ce qui donne :

cp /usr/share/doc/conky-all/convert.lua ~
chmod u+x convert.lua
./convert.lua .conkyrc .conkyrc_1.10

Ensuite il faut vérifier que tout est ok dans le fichier .conkyrc_1.10 puis remplacer l'ancien fichier (.conkyrc) par celui-ci.
Pour moi ça a marché : le script génère un fichier qui me permet d'afficher une partie du script. Par contre je suis obligé de commenter certaines parties parce que sinon des erreurs empêche l'affichage complet du conky. Mais il y a beaucoup d'incertitudes, d'hésitations et d'info divergentes. D'ailleurs je me demande pourquoi cette mise à jour est poussée dans les dépôts si elle oblige à tout refaire... roll

La solution que j'ai utilisé fut de retourner en v1.9 et de bloquer cette version pour les mises à jour... Cette version 1.10 ne correspond pas à mes attentes, et aurais bien trop de modifs de codes à faire pour que tous mes scripts refonctionnent... Je ne voudrais non plus lancer un débat "à la  sauce systemd..."

Bonjour ragamatrix.
Je me suis déjà lancé dans l'étude du topic dans crunchbang, ainsi qu'un thread sur archlinux, mais c'est vrai que, comme tu le dis si bien, cette version 1.10 est un "unbearable nightmare" .
De toute façon, je n'utilise la version 1.10 que sur ma Fedora 24 rawhide de test, quand elle passera en stable (d'ici 6 mois) et si conky 1.10 ne s'est pas améliorer, je retournerais sous la version 1.9.

Tout est dans tout et réciproquement....

je suis maintenant sur une xubuntu 15.04 et le conky loungeradio ne fonctionne plus, j'y ai il me semble apporté les modifications selon le nouveau code, mais je dois avoir oublié quelque chose... l'image ne s'affiche plus et la radio ne démarre pas j'obtient néanmoins les infos du morceau en cours.
Le terminal n'est pas très content:

J'ai essayé mplayer (avant fonctionnait très bien) mplayer2 et seulement smplayer démarre la radio mais reste avec l'interface visible sad
pour conky je l'ai doublé avec conky1 pour raison de facilité d'usage avec les autres conky

Donc voila je suis coincé avec le loungeradio et une petite aide serait bienvenue, merci.

Je ne comprends pas très bien ce que tu attends. Si c'est les fichiers tu les trouveras ici : https://transfer.sh/12ESGP/conky-1.10 (sachant que le principal fichier lua s'appelle script.lua, tous les autres qui commencent par 'script' sont des sauvegardes). Si c'est une image de ce qui marche en version 1.10, je l'ai mise ici http://pix.toile-libre.org/?img=1447884842.jpg. Merci Ferod, apparemment chez toi le scrip lua fonctionne, à part pour la partie météo, chez moi rien ne fonctionne en lua, mais je pense que la version conky 1.10 de Fedora n'est pas encore au point.

Je vais voir à récupérer les source de la version ubuntu et regarder ce qui diffère.

J'en ai eu marre... Je suis revenu à la version 1.9 et j'ai bloqué la mise à jour de ce paquet. Ne perd pas trop ton temps cheploq.
D'autre part comme j'utilise openweather pour la météo et qu'ils ont rajouté une clé associé à mon compte ça risque de ne pas marcher pour toi. C'est les chiffres et les lettres qui sont après appid. D'ailleurs comme c'est lié à mon compte je vais supprimer les liens vers cette archive...

Je ne pers pas de temps, je fais cela car j'aime bien comprendre et quand les choses fonctionnent correctement.

Je cherche sur le net, et je viens de voir une chose :
pour les scripts lua, il y a quelqu'un qui a fait ceci

dans la partie setting il a mis :
lua-load = /chemin/vers/le script-lua ,

et dans la partie text

${lua le_nom-de_fonction-lua }

ce qui pourrait donner, pour un script nommé meteo et une fonction conky_main :

lua_load = /chemin_vers_meteo ,

et
${lua main}

En cherchant un peu, je viens de voir que ce que je t'ai donné ne fonctionne uniquement que si le script retourne une sortie "string", c'est à dire une chaîne de caractères, si c'est une image tu auras une erreur.

lua    function_name (function parameters)    Executes a Lua function with given parameters, then prints the returned string. See also 'lua_load' on how to load scripts. Conky puts 'conky_' in front of function_name to prevent accidental calls to the wrong function unless you put you place 'conky_' in front of it yourself.

Par ailleurs j'ai pu obtenir un résultat avec un conky intégrant un script lua en installant par compilation le conky de GitHub : https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky

Il a fallu quand même que je le bidouille un peu, cette version ne prenant en charge que lua 5.1 et 5.2, alors que sur ma fedora j'ai lua en 5.3

J'ai donc modifié le fichier /conky/cmake/ConkyPlatformChecks.cmake , ligne 252 ainsi : 

pkg_search_module(LUA REQUIRED lua5.3 lua-5.3 lua>=5.1 lua5.1 lua-5.1)

J'ai ensuite suivi ce qu'il y avait indiqué dans le fichier README.cmake, avec l'option ccmake ../

Et après installation, j'ai eu un bon résultat :

Suite et surement pas fin de mes test avec conky 1.10.

J'ai un conky calendrier qui m'indique aussi les phase de la lune avec une image de cette lune.
Malheureusement il fonctionne avec deux script lua, et je n'arrivais pas à les faire fonctionner en même temp.
Je me suis souvenu d'un sujet de wlourf : http://u-scripts.blogspot.fr/2011/02/ho … conky.html , qui permet de lancer deux script lua par l'intermédiaire d'un troisième.

BINGO !!!
Après quelques tâtonnements cela fonctionne.

Mes deux scripts se nomment square_to_round.lua et calendar.lua, avec un appel à une variable pour le second.
J'ai donc créé un script loadAll.lua :

Le probleme est survenu en mettant trop de texte dans un de mes "widget"
J'avais pourtant mis des # devant chaque ligne inutile pour le moment pour eviter de faire un truc trop grand mais le conky refuse toujours de s afficher...
Actuellement je suis sur une config dual screen. L'ecran ou le conky ne s affiche pas est en 1920x1080 pour 27 pouces (vivement la 4k ^^).
Alors que sur mon autre ecran en 19 pouces n est qu'en 1280x1024... Pourtant celui ci n a pas de souci. Voici son conky attitré :

Essaye en augmentant le text_buffer_size  a 1024, voir à 2048

Je viens de tester le text_buffer_size en 1024 et cela fonctionne a merveille apres un reload du conky complet.

Depuis, la font Ubuntu ne s'affiche plus, je ne peux d'ailleurs plus changer de police.

qui fonctionnait lui aussi tout-à-fait, ne se lance même plus.

Il faudra réécrire le script du conky, depuis la màj du soft conky, tout à changé cfr la doc ou chercher conky new code, si je retrouve le lien je le posterai.

Qu'a tu fais pour que les polices ne soient plus reconnue ?
reconfigurer les fonts pourrait résoudre ton problème.
Sit u veux je te donne mon conkyrc avec le new code , juste pour voir si ca passe mieux.

J'ai fait la mise-à-jour vers la 16.04, et depuis mon conky est comme ça.
Je n'ai pas touché à mes scripts Conky.

Oui c'est ça, le soft conky à installé la dernière version, soit tu change ton conkyrc soit tu rétrograde de version de conky, mais le problème te suivra dans ce cas advitam, le mieux c'est de faire la conversion de ton rc une bonne fois

C'est donc bien la version 1.10 de conky que tu as, et il faut donc ré-écrire ton conky pour qu'il fonctionne de nouveau.
Consulte le lien que t'a indiqué enebre, si tu as des problèmes dis le nous.
