1er jour avec ubuntu- WIFI impossible à connecter
Bonjour,
Je viens d'installer ubuntu 14.04 sur un nouveau portable (marque française, je ne sais plus si je peux citer la marque) acheté sans OS. L'installation s'est bien passée mais impossible de me connecter à internet via le wifi.
Je n'ai pas de câble éthernet et je ne suis pas un pro de l'informatique.

Bonsoir,
J' essaierais d'abord de créer une première connexion sans fil via l'interface graphique, en y ajoutant bien la clé de sécurité WiFi correspondante et sélectionnant le DHCP.

Change le ESSID de ta box: Bbox-052A75, et le mot de passe avec.
Le chiffrement WPA2, c'est bon, tu peux garder le même.
(Il y avait un "bug" chez Bouygues qui générait des MdP "trouvables" à partir du ESSID, car l'algo pour passer du ESSID au MdP était connu !)
Ensuite tu cliques sur le widget (correspondant à Network-Manager) pour te connecter à ton réseau Wifi avec la nouveau mot de passe, et tu nous dis ce qui arrive.
En effet, à vue rapide je ne vois rien de très anormal sur tes commandes : la carte Wifi est vue, active, elle peut scanner, pas de RFKill, etc...

J'ai créer de nouvelles connexion avec la bonne box en SSID, et le bon mot de passe mais rien ne passe. l'ordi cherche à se connecter puis abandonne.

ESSID:"Bouygues Telecom Wi-Fi"La première c'est bien ma box. La deuxième j'en sais rien. C'est peut être aussi la mienne ou un voisin.

oui ca détecte tout ce qui est dans le voisinage , ça peut être ta box si tu as ouvert l'accès libre par exemple, à voir sur l'interface graphique de configuration de la BBox apparemment http://192.168.1.254 selon google
Donc tu peux creer une connexion vers ta box Bbox-052A75 en utilisant wicd https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/wicd ou network-manager https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/network-manager selon ce que tu as installé
