[RESOLU]Installer W7 sur disque séparé alors qu'on a déjà Kubuntu

Bonjour à Tous,
Sur ma bécane du bureau, j'ai depuis longtemps Kubuntu 14,04 LTS. C'est installé sur un SSD de 120Go. Le home est sur un disque de 1,3To (300Go d'utilisé et j'ai un autre disque de 1,3To sur lequel j'ai installé virtualbox, mais ça ne marche pas pour l'appli qui m'intéresse (Dialux). Et j'ai besoin par ailleurs des liaison usb (pour changer les ROM de mon smartphone).

Les divers tuto et discussions de forums ne mentionnent pas ce cas et je crains que l'installation sur le disque où il y a la virtualbox (à effacer) ne soit pas facile à diriger. Qu'en pensez-vous ?
Quelles précautions dois-je prendre avant de me lancer?

Bonjour
Tu y vas avec précaution.
Commences par disposer d'une partition NTFS libre d'une taille de 50 Go environ.
Lances alors l'installation et vois si l'installateur peut te proposer le choix d'une partition existante (cas pour windows8 et windows10).
S'il faut seulement de l'espace inutilisé, tu supprimes cette partition, Je serais surpris qu'il exige  la totalité du disque.
Peut-être voudra-t-il seulement s'installer sur SDA.   Dans ce cas, une opération de débranchement de deux disques sera à faire.

Salut

Si j'ai bien compris, tu veux supprimer Virtualbox de ton disque, qui sera donc vide, et installer Win7 dessus ?
Alors supprime les partitions de ce disque-là avec Gparted, puis éteins la machine, ouvre-la et débranche les 2 disques durs auxquels tu ne veux pas toucher.
Et ensuite lance l'installation de Win7, puisqu'il n'y aura qu'un seul disque branché il s'installera forcément dessus, et les autres ne seront pas touchés.

Une fois lm'installation finie et Win7 opérationnel, rebranche tes disques durs, lance Ubuntu et fais en terminal :

sudo update-grub

pour que Win7 soit ajouté au menu de démarrage.

Pour passer un sujet en résolu : modifiez le premier message et ajoutez [Résolu] au titre.

Merci Bougron et Xabilon,
Je viens de désinstaller virtualbox.
Je ne vois comment supprimer les partitions du disque sur lequel c'était avec Gparted (Ni avec le manager de partitions de KDE).
Quand je clique sur cette partition (ou les autres) le "supprimer" est grisé, non-cliquable. J'ai mm démarré en sudo.

Je me demande si j'ai un disque de ~3To ou 2 x ~1,4To sur le mm ?

Tu as un disque de 3 To que tu as découpé en deux partitions qui sont actuellement en cours d'utilisation.
On ne peut pas détruire une partition en cours d'utilisation.
L'une s'appelle le /home, elle est indémontable , l'autre est une partition que tu as montée dans /media. En cliquant dessus, tu devrais avoir une fenêtre qui s'ouvre  dans laquelle l'option de démontage devrait être proposée.

Ce n'est pas du tout la même chose neutral
Il va falloir installer Win7 sur un disque où il y a déjà une partition à conserver, donc une partie de mon message #3 n'est plus valable.
En revanche, pour l'installation tu pourras toujours débrancher l'autre disque (le SSD) pour éviter que Win7 n'écrase le Grub de Ubuntu.

Pour passer un sujet en résolu : modifiez le premier message et ajoutez [Résolu] au titre.

Donc, J'ai "libéré" cette partition qui est sur media.
Si je résume : je débranche le SSD et que je lance l'instal, mon home sera préservé ?
La partition libérée sera formatée par W7 en ntfs ?
Merci de votre aide à vous deux. Je suis un vrai noob, voyez-vous.

Débrancher le SSD oui, ton système Ubuntu et ton menu de démarrage Grub seront préservés (à moins que ton Grub soit sur l'autre disque, mais ce ne serait pas logique).
En revanche il faut faire gaffe pour le /home, puisqu'il est sur le même disque que celui où tu vas installer Windows, et que celui-ci ne reconnaît pas les partitions Linux.
Il faut donc, comme le conseille Bougron, créer une partition NTFS avant l'installation (utilise Gparted) pour forcer Windows à s'installer dessus, sans qu'il touche à ta partition /home.
Dans tous les cas, il serait tout de même plus prudent de sauvegarder tes documents importants, adresses et mails, avant de te lancer

Ça a marché. Il a fallu faire attention parce que l'installateur windows indiquait à un moment les deux partitions en les nommant pareil !
Après installations de moult drivers, ça fonctionne à peu près correctement.
À peu prêt car le grub ne me donne pas le choix. Il faut que je passe par le BIOS pour choisir un disque ou un autre afin de démarrer sur l'OS qui y est présent.
Il y a-t-il une solution par le GRUB dans mon cas et si oui, comment ?

Depuis une session de ton Kubuntu installé, je te prie de faire un Boot-Info. Tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.
Motif de cette demande : il faut être sûr que Kubuntu et Windows sont installés tous les deux dans le même mode (*). Sinon, ce ne sera pas possible de pouvoir sélectionner l'un ou l'autre en passant par le menu Grub. L'examen du Boot-Info permettra de savoir ce qu'il en est.

(*) soit tous les deux dans le mode EFI, soit tous les deux dans le mode non-EFI (mode Bios classique)

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Boot-Repair]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

Ça marche. Le Grub a une allure de terminal des années 80 et je ne m'attendais pas à ça. Qu'importe :-)
Par contre les diverses mises à jours de W7 se sont mal passées et il faut que je réinstalle cet après-midi.
Merci en tout cas, je pense que c'est résolu.

Tu l'as dit. On n'en a rien à battre de l'esthétique de Grub. A ce sujet, si tu peux rester éloigné de cette daube de Grub Customizer, ce serait bien. Parce que personnellement je n'aide pas à réparer quand je constate que ce logiciel a foutu ses sales pattes dans une installation de Ubuntu. A bon entendeur.

Comme je le disais au post #15 j'ai des pb avec Windows. Ce n'est pas les mises à jour qui ont posé pb mais bien le nouveau GRUB. J'ai un message quand le rendre le DVD d'installation pour refaire l'installation qui me dit que la partition a un MBR (Master Boot Record).
Vu sur le Net qu'il est impossible de démarre un DD avec un systeme UEFI.
Je ne peux mm pas réinstaller...
Peut-on rechanger le Grub ?

Euh oui, je ne me suis pas relu.
Entre temps, j'ai réussi à refaire l'installation de W7 mais que sur une partie de l'ancienne partition NTFS.

Si tu veux dire "possible" de "réunir" du ntfs et de l'ext4, vois "système de fichiers" dans wikipedia.
