Pilote Brother DCP8025D

Bonjour
Sous Lubuntu 16.04 64 bits.
L'installation du pilote la semaine dernière s'est déroulé sans problème. J'ai vu ensuite que les pilotes Brother DCP étaient pour du 32bits alors que je suis en 64bits. Bref, ça a fonctionné.

Hier, par contre je n'ai pu imprimer que des pages blanches avec l'erreur "ERROR NAME undefined COMMAND De OPERAND STACK".
Je réinstalle le pilote et la bug général : l'appli d'install du .deb, la logitheque lubuntu etc.

Synaptic plante à chaque ouverture : 

E: Le paquet dcp8025dlpr:i386 doit être réinstallé, mais il est impossible de trouver son archive.

et
Gdebi : 

« l’index des logiciels est corrompu » vérifier /etc/ept/sources.list… le paquet dcp8025dlpr:i386 doit être réinstallé mais il est impossible de trouver son archive.

J'ai tenté sans succès: 

sudo apt-get --purge remove  dcp8025dlpr:i386
sudo dpkg -P –force-all 
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo dpkg -r --force-remove-reinstreq

Question :
Tu as utilisé la méthode demonipuch  --->ICI ?
Si c'est cette méthode - en théorie aucun problème - sauf avec l'utilisation du scanner ou une solution provisoire existe ICI
Provisoire en attendant la mise à jour de demonipuch smile

Pour le "paquet" cassé, essaies

sudo apt-get clean

puis postes le retour de

sudo apt-get update

et de

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Je viens de la tester... Failed.

Installation du fichier : brother-udev-rule-type1-1.0.0-1.all.deb
Sélection du paquet brother-udev-rule-type1 précédemment désélectionné.
(Lecture de la base de données... 156320 fichiers et répertoires déjà installés.)
Préparation du dépaquetage de .../brother-udev-rule-type1-1.0.0-1.all.deb ...
Dépaquetage de brother-udev-rule-type1 (1.0.0-1) ...
(À noter la disparition de dcp8025dlpr:i386, qui a été complètement remplacé.)
[FAIL] Restarting lpd (via systemctl): lpd.service failed!

Il semble que pour les 64bits il faille utiliser le "dépôt universe". qu'est ce donc?

Exact et c'est bien précisé par demonipuch :

Note 2 : si vous utilisez Ubuntu version 64 bits, il faut activer le dépôt universe.

Merci ares pour le lien vers les explications mais là, même avec bcp d'efforts, ça me dépasse... Les dépôts, les backports, les packages, ... Je pige rien :-(
Existe-t-il une méthode pas à pas, pour les nuls?

De plus, pour les 64bits, il faut installer ia32-libs, qui n'est pas dispo dans la logithèque.

Bon, j'y suis... Dépôt activé tant bien que mal...Avec Synaptic :
deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty universe multiverse

Faut il inclure aussi ces deux ci?
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu trusty-security universe multiverse
deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates universe multiverse

Ensuite Synaptic me donne le message d'erreur suivant :

Échec du téléchargement de tous les fichiers d'index
Le dépôt ne semble plus être disponible ou ne peut être contacté à cause de problèmes de réseau. S'il existe un fichier d'index plus ancien, il sera utilisé. Sinon, le dépôt sera ignoré. Vérifiez votre connexion réseau et corrigez l'adresse du dépôt dans les préférences.

Et :
Une erreur s'est produite !
E: Impossible d'obtenir le verrou /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (11: Ressource temporairement non disponible)
E: Impossible d'ouvrir le descripteur de fichier -1
E: Impossible de verrouiller le répertoire des listes de dépôts

Bonsoir,

Il semble que la liste des "paquets" (logiciels) est corrompu... rien de grave smile
Il faut d'abord vérifier et réparer... avant de reprendre l'installation de l'imprimante Brother.

1) Vérifies avec la commande "cat"

 cat /etc/apt/sources.list

La présence des lignes suivantes :

deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ xenial universe
deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ xenial-updates universe

2) Si c'est pas le cas il faut ajouter les lignes :

sudo editeur_prefere /etc/apt/sources.list

Ou lire la relire la doc pour la version graphique.

3) Et que donne :
Pour le "paquet" cassé, essaies

sudo apt-get clean

puis postes le retour de

sudo apt-get update

et de

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

J'ai rechargé et "tout mis à niveau" chez Synaptic, rebooté l'ordi et... Miracle !!
Elle imprime !

Pourquoi « trusty  » ?
Tu as fait une mise à jour ?

Modifies le fichier source de cette façon :

# deb http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty universe multiverse
# deb-src http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty universe multiverse

Si le logiciel Synaptic est actif et que tu lances une des commandes dans un Terminal, c'est normal d'avoir cette réponse :

E: Impossible de verrouiller le répertoire d'administration (/var/lib/dpkg/). Il est possible qu'un autre processus l'utilise.

Il faut fermer Synaptic et reprendre depuis le début ! smile

Hum ! je suis pas un spécialiste pour la gestions des paquets, vu que en pratique c'est TRÈS stable.
