Epson scan dx4400 (résolu)

Bonjour,

Après avoir regardé tous les tuto et chercher sur le forum, j'ai essayé plusieurs choses mais sans succès, je n'arrive toujours pas à faire fonctionner le scanner de mon imprimante "Epson scan DX4400".

si quelqu'un à déjà eu ce problème pour m'aider, car sur Ubuntu tous fonctionnes sauf le scan en alternative je dois faire mon dual boot sur Windows pour scanner c'est franchement dommage...

Bonjour Christina,

normalement lorsque tu veux utiliser la partie scanner d'une imprimante epson, il faut passer par le logiciel image-scan fourni par epson sur son site.

Tu as suivi de nombreux tuto ,cependant nous ne savons pas exactement ce que tu as fait .

afin d'obtenir le max d'infos , d'avoir une vison globale de ton système, des pilotes installé dessus ou pas  ,
rentre les commandes suivantes dans un terminal et donne nous leur retour entre "balises codes"

cat /etc/lsb-release
lsusb
dpkg -l | grep epson
dpkg -l | grep iscan

ça permettra de savoir quels sont les pilotes installés sur ton système,
ensuite si ces infos ne sont pas suffisante pour creuser un peu tu peux donner le retour de ces commandes :
  

dpkg -l | grep sane
sane-find-scanner
sudo sane-find-scanner
scanimage -L
ls /etc/sane.d/
cat /etc/sane.d/dll.conf
cat /etc/sane.d/epkowa.conf

avec toutes ces infos , on aura toute les infos utiles et on devrait pouvoir trouver ce qui cloche ou du moins cerner le problème.

merci pour les retours.

je vois que tu n'as aucun pilote installé pour la partie scanner de ton imprimante ,
les pilotes qui te correspondent (ubuntu, 32 bit) sont dispo ici :

ce qu'il te reste à faire :
telecharger les pilotes correspondant a ton architecture , les decompresser et lancer le script d'installation d'epson .
pour lancer ce script tu dois malheureusement passer par le  terminal en te rendant au préalable dans le dossier decompressé via la commande "cd" car il n y a pas moyen de le lancer ce script de manière "graphique"
pour te simplifier la tache , comme le terminal est indispensable de toute façons ... et que je ne sais pas où ton navigateur internet téléchargera les pilotes ... je te propose de copier coller les 3 commandes suivante dans un terminal , ce qui te permettra de telecharger, decompresser et d'installer tes pilotes directement.

1 télécharger le pilote

wget https://download2.ebz.epson.net/iscan/plugin/cx4400/deb/x86/iscan-cx4400-bundle-1.0.0.x86.deb.tar.gz

2 décompresser le fichier obtenu

tar -xvf iscan-cx4400-bundle-1.0.0.x86.deb.tar.gz

3) lance le script d'epson pour installer les pilotes:

 sudo ~/iscan-cx4400-bundle-1.0.0.x86.deb/install.sh

une fois fait , utilise le logiciel image-scan (que l'installation des pilotes installe )pour faire un scann et dis nous si ça fonctionne.

le script d'epson a voulu mettre a jour ton système cependant :

ce qui a provoqué l’arrêt du script.
les pilotes pour le scanner ne sont pas installés .

visiblement tu ne peux pas mettre ton système à jour a cause d'un ppa qui n'existe plus hmm

Je suppose qu'il t'es impossible de faire des mises à jour ...

histoire de comprendre où se situe le problème donne le retour de ces commandes :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

cela permettra de voir ton sources.list et surtout de repérer le ppa incriminé .

okay . le sources.list est bon ...
il reste donc qu'a  enlever le ppa qui déconne

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/u2t-bleedingedge*

puis vérification que les update soient dispo

sudo apt-get update

puis mise à jour du système 

sudo apt-get upgrade

(ça peut prendre du temps si ça à pas été fait depuis longtemps neutral mais après tu aura un système à jour donc sécurisé smile)
une fois fait tu peux relancer le script d'epson 

 sudo ~/iscan-cx4400-bundle-1.0.0.x86.deb/install.sh
