Installation d'Ubuntu effective mais retour du terminal qui m'inquiète

Bonjour,
L'installation de la 16.04 est à peu près réussie mais j'ai dû réinstaller Unity ce matin.
Le retour du teminal est le suivant:

~$ sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

autrement dit , changer "upgrade" pour "full-upgrade", et ensuite nettoyer et purger  tout ce qui est devenu inutile.

Le PPA ,n'existe pas en  16.04 launchpad.net/~kalgasnik/+archive/ubuntu/ppa

pour la lisibilité stp, changes purement et simplement les balises bold  , par les balises codes, remplaces "b" par "code", dans les balises; Ca donnera le texte formaté comme je l'ai publié.

...... edit :  et m... 'me suis gourré :  il manque un & avant la commande de nettoyage :
remplaces "& sudo apt autoremove" par "&& sudo apt autoremove"

Donc il n'y a rien à changer et je peux garder le système en l'état ? Est il possible de supprimer le PPA " http://ppa.launchpad.net/kalgasnik/ppa/ubuntu xenial Release " sans dommage pour le système ?

Ou bien alors faire une nouvelle installation d'Ubuntu ?

Hello,

d'abord merci pour les balises code, cela rend l'apparence id au terminal, et il est plus facile de déceler des erreurs de frappe.
Enlèves l'espace entre full et le tiret upgrade
c'est : 

apt full-upgrade

  et non  : 

apt full -ugrade

Faire attention à la syntaxe qui est non pas délicate , mais précise et  à respecter.

Salut Bruno,
Oui, il faut le souligner la syntaxe est précise: donc j'ai supprimé l'espace entre full et le tiret upgrade et le terminal me renvoie la même chose.
Est il possible d'aller plus loin dans la recherche ? Je peux tenter la suppression mais je ne sais pas s'il y a des
dépendances ?

Tu peux simplement désactiver le ppa - en attendant qu'il soit un jour agrémenté d'une branche xenial - soit via
- configuration / dépôts dans synaptic
- ou en ajoutant un # devant la ligne le concernant dans son fichier *.list qui se trouve dans /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

Cela dit - si je comprends bien - ce ppa concernait une modif' de lightdm c'est ça ? Pas dit qu'il soit très utile de le garder.

Par ailleurs, quand on upgrade de version d'Ubuntu sans réinstaller, c'est 'achement plus prudent de désactiver tous les ppa - certains ppa existant pour une version y d'ubuntu et pas forcément pour la version y+1…

Oui, ça doit avoir un rapport avec lightdm que j'ai désinstallé depuis.Je vais commenter le ppa dans le fichier sources.list.
En fait tu as raison, autant faire le ménage avant d'upgrader.

Pour moi ton installation a l'air propre , à 1 chose près :
Retirer les ppa qui posent problème :
-> Assurément celui que le système de trouve pas : kalgasnik,  voir 3 et 5 : 

Ign:3 http://ppa.launchpad.net/kalgasnik/ppa/ubuntu xenial InRelease

et

Err:5 http://ppa.launchpad.net/kalgasnik/ppa/ubuntu xenial Release             
  404  Not Found

Ce ppa ( dépôt ), pose problème , pour ma part, je l'enlèverais purement et simplement.
2 méthodes :
2.1 : ligne de commande , voir là :
https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/ppa, point 3 Suppression d'un PPA

2.2 : graphique , gestionnaire de paquets synaptic.
s'il n'est pas déjà installé, faire : 

sudo apt install synaptic

et utiliser l'appli, qui marche très bien.

Dans ton sources.list supprime les lignes contenant « saucy » ainsi que les lignes en doublon(s).

Autrement dit tu es sous xenial, donc toutes les lignes doivent faire référence à xenial ( or quelques cas particuliers. )

Par contre un ppa n'est pas censé se trouvé ajouté au sources.list.
Chaque ppa fait l'objet d'un fichier dans le dossier /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
Supprime là le fichier concernant kalgasnik.

Tu sais pourquoi tu as supprimé lightdm ?

Je sais pourquoi j'ai supprimé lightdm: la suite logique d'une tentative d'installation du bureau Gnome. Mais l'installation ne doit pas être possible avec Ubuntu. Je me souviens avoir installer plusieurs bureaux au choix sous Debian et j'ai eu envie de retrouver Gnome 3 sous Ubuntu.

Je viens de relire plusieurs fois mon sources.list mais je n'ai pas trouvé de ligne concernant Saucy .
Zut, j'ai oublié l'option d
Nouvel essai avec nano, mais plus rien quand il s'ouvre.

Des  "Proposed" mais j'ai commenté.
En fait surprenant de la part d'un lambda sous Linux. Tout simplement de la curiosité. La curiosité qui m'a poussé à installer une Debian alors que je maîtrisais mal le clavier: ce fut douloureux mais ça valait le coup ! smile

Ah oui ok, tu upgrades de version en version sans jamais nettoyer tes listes de dépôts ?

En gros : tu peux supprimer tout ce qui se trouve dans le dossier /sources.list.d/
il n'y a là pour l'instant aucun ppa utile à ubuntu xenial.

Oui, ça doit diablement alourdir mon système.
En fait, sans connaissances de la syntaxe des lignes de commande, si je veux passer par le terminal ça risque d'être un peu
galère ?
A moins qu'un petit "sudo apt-get autoclean" fasse le travail ?
Si tu peux me donner un exemple de suppression de PPA en ligne de commande je suis preneur...
Ou alors, au point où j'en suis, refaire une install et ce sera une bonne base pour repartir.

Exemple avec la commande rm ( à manier avec précaution car c'est de l'effacement définitif ! )
à copier-coller dans un terminal :

sudo rm -I /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

après le - c'est un i majuscule : cela te demandera confirmation avant d'effacer, répondre par o ou n

Ça n'alourdit ni ne ralentit tant que ça ton système, ces fichiers sont juste inutiles.

À priori pas la peine de réinstaller - sauf si à l'usage tu constates foule d'autres pépins…

DES fichiers. Pas les fichiers… En l'occurrence, ces dépôts sont désactivés ( des # partout en début de ligne ) donc ils ne seront pas interrogés par ton gestionnaire de mises à jour. Mais ces fichiers seront lus : ça prend un ( tout petit ) peu de temps et de place pour rien. Tu peux les enlever tranquillement, par souci de lisibilité et de « rangement » car des dépôts-ppa tu risques tôt ou tard d'en ajouter.
