problème après mise à niveau de 14.4 à 16.4-PROBLEME RESOLU.
Bonjour!
Mon système est dual boot windows10 ubuntu 14.4J'ai voulu mettre ubuntu 14.4 vers le 16.4 LTS.L'opération terminée, je n'ai plus accès à aucun des OS bien le choix me soit proposé. Quand je ubuntu, qui est en premier sur la liste j'obtiens cette réponse:

J'essaye de réparer avec une liveusb 14.4 en suivant la procédure classique=Echec
Je pars sur les forum et je tente le coup avec BOOTER-EPAIR.C'est le cauchemar.Windows a disparu de l'écran.Il ne reste plus que Ubuntu, qui ne démarre pas aussi.
Alors je m'adresse à vous car à mon niveau je n'ai plus d'inpiration.

C'est le taux d'occupation des différentes partitions. On peut voir que la partition /dev/sda3 - c'est ton disque C: de Windows - est occupé à 100% donc c'est normal que ton Windows ne puisse plus fonctionner. Je te conseillerais de supprimer des gros fichiers - genre fichiers vidéo - dans cette partition /dev/sda3 afin de faire baisser son taux d'occupation. Comme tu ne peux pas démarrer une session Windows, tu peux faire cette manip de suppression de gros fichiers depuis une session live de Ubuntu. J'avais déjà viré quelques dossiers.J'avais gonflé ainsi la Sda3 de quelque giga . J'avais relancé Boot repair qui s'est porsuivi sans sans aucune recommandation.L'opération avait réussi mais mon pb était resté.Je reprends tout à zéro suivant tes instructions et je rends compte.

Je reviens pour vous signaler que toutes mes tentatives avec Boot-repair ont échoué.
J'ai donc encore besoin de votre aide.
Il reste 28.22 Ga sur sda3 puique , c'est d'elle qu'il s'agit , après dégraissage de cette partition.

C'est à croire que mon pb n'intéresse personne.Pourtant c'est bien à la suite d'une mise à niveau de 14.4 à 16.4 que ubuntu 14.4 est inexploitable et que windows 10 n'est plus proposé dans le choix.Windows10 a disparu.

J'ai dégraissé ma partition sda3 contenant ubuntu 16.4.
J'ai récupéré un iso 16.4 sur internet
Avec ce cd j'ai réinstallé ubuntu 16.4 sur sa partition hôte , soit la Sda3.
J'ai récupéré ainsi le mbr et j'ai accès aux deux OS.
J'ai oublié de dire qu'avec GPARTED j'ai d'abord vérifié toutes les partitions.
Il suffisait d'y penser.
