[RESOLU] Carte graphique non reconnu depuis MAJ en 16.04

Voila, je possède ce PC portable Lenovo équipé d'une CG AMD Radeon R5 M230.

Mon probleme est que depuis une réinstallation compléte d'ubuntu pour passer en 16.04, la R5 M230 n'est pas reconnu et l'ordinateur tourne uniquement sur la puce graphique du cpu...

Quand je vais dans les pilotes je ne trouve que ceux de la puce intel, et la commande lshw ne trouve pas la CG, voila ce qu'elle sort :

Petit up, je n'ai toujours pas résolut mon problème sad
En revanche, en regardant dans les logs de Xorg, j'ai remarqué qu'il parle de RADEON partout, mais je n'ai pas les connaissance pour l'exploiter plus que ca...

Simplement il me semble qu'il n'y a plus de pilotes propriétaires pour les ATI RADEON vous devez être avec le pilote libre . Avez-vous essayé de rechercher les "pilotes additionnels", vous ne devez pas en avoir.
Je ne sais pas si un remède existe.

Dans ce cas pourquoi la carte n'est elle pas utilisé ? Elle n'est même pas reconnu dans lshw et n’apparaît pas dans les pilotes additionnels.

Normalement, la première commande devrait exécuter le test en utilisant l'IGP (par défaut), la seconde en utilisant la carte ATI. On devrait assister à une différence de performances plus ou moins significative en fonction de la puissance des cartes graphiques de ton pc.

« Après un léger retard dû à mes voyages, je suis de retour, et [Linux] 4.7 est disponible », c’est par cette note que Linus Torvalds a annoncé la disponibilité de la nouvelle version du noyau, avant de mettre en avant les changements et améliorations. Linux 4.7 est donc officiellement disponible après 7 release candidates, dont la dernière a été publiée il y a deux semaines.

Cette nouvelle mouture met en avant le support des processeurs graphiques AMD Radeon RX480 (Polaris), implémenté dans le pilote AMDGPU. Il s’agit sans doute de l’une des plus importantes nouveautés introduites.

Linux 4.7 introduit également un nouveau module de sécurité baptisé LoadPin. Ce nouveau module de sécurité Linux permet de s’assurer que les modules chargés par le noyau viennent tous du même système de fichiers.

Linux 4.7 vient aussi avec le support des recherches parallèles pour accélérer les recherches de noms de chemins dans le même répertoire. Cette amélioration peut toutefois ne pas être remarquable pour de nombreuses charges de travail. Mais pour celles qui rendent très lourdes les recherches de noms de chemins dans le même répertoire, la rapidité des recherches, grâce au support de recherches parallèles dans un répertoire, sera plus perceptible.

Linux 4.7 ajoute également un nouveau gouverneur de fréquence schedutil au système CPUfreq qui permet de choisir le mode de fonctionnement de son processeur. Ce nouveau gouverneur devrait permettre de réduire considérablement le temps de latence pour faire des changements de fréquence à chaque variation de charge de travail. Une différence fondamentale par rapport aux gouverneurs existants est qu’il utilise directement les informations fournies par l’ordonnanceur pour prendre ses décisions. En plus de permettre plus de rapidité, le nouveau gouverneur de fréquence peut donc offrir également plus de précision.

On retiendra encore dans cette nouvelle mouture du noyau Linux un support pour créer des périphériques USB virtuels dans USB/IP. Cela permet par exemple aux téléphones émulés de se comporter comme des périphériques USB réels. USB/IP est un système de partage de périphériques USB sur un réseau IP.

Comme dans les versions précédentes, de nombreux pilotes ont été améliorés et de nouveaux ont été ajoutés. Linux 4.7 apporte également sa pile de corrections de bogues. Plus de détails sur cette nouvelle version sont disponibles sur le site Kernel Newbies. La sortie de Linux 4.7 annonce également le début du développement de la prochaine version.

Tu auras peut être plus de chance avec les mises à jour.

Pour être sur, à nouveau (j'ai oublié de te faire désactiver la synchro verticale pour le test précédent) :

vblank_mode=0 glxgears

DRI_PRIME=1 vblank_mode=0 glxgears

Le but étant avec ce petit test, de vérifier que la carte ATI est bien utilisable via la commande DRI_PRIME=1, étant supposée plus puissante que l'IGP, le nombre de FPS devrait normalement être plus important. Si c'est le cas, tu n'auras plus qu'à utiliser la commande DRI_PRIME=1 pour ouvrir tes applications en utilisant la carte ATI (ou à l'inclure dans tes lanceurs).

C'est une question de matériel et de pilotes après, et d'applications avec lesquels tu vas l'utiliser ... Le mieux reste encore de réaliser un vrai test benchmark mais je n'en connais pas et je n'ai pas le temps d'en chercher un.

A toi de tester maintenant selon tes besoins, avec quelle carte tes applications (ou jeux) tournent le mieux. Je sais que par exemple, avec un config similaire (HD 3000 et HD 7450m), ce test n'était pas très concluant non plus (la carte ATI étant vraiment limitée), mais j'ai tout de même assisté à une amélioration notable de performances en utilisant l'ATI (bon ça reste globalement faible quand même vu le matériel) pour la plupart des jeux au lieu de la carte Intel.
