[Résolu sans trop savoir comment]Imprimante M1212nf MFP/Ubuntu 16.04
Salut à toutes et à tous,
Je viens de passer, sur un ordinateur portable, d'Ubuntu 14.04 à Ubuntu 16.04 .
L'ordinateur détecte bien l'imprimante Laserjet (noir-blanc) M1212nf MFP (reliée par câble USB).
Mais quand je demande d'imprimer (un fichier odt, avec LibreOffice, ou un fichier pdf), les fichiers sont maintenus en attente. J'ai beau cliquer sur Reprendre, ils restent maintenus en attente, sans pour autant disparaître de la fenêtre de l'activité de l'imprimante.
D'où peut venir le problème ?
[Il n'y avait pas de problème avec Ubuntu 14.04 .]

Je pense qu'il te manque le plugin, regarde la page hplip de la doc.

Quand je suis sur cette page, je télécharge le fichier dans quel dossier ?
Et après, je fais quoi ?
Je ne suis pas encore habitué aux diverses fonctions de base du terminal, aux diverses commandes de base...
D'un autre côté, je ne suis pas contre si on peut installer un logiciel juste avec des commandes du terminal et une connexion internet, sans devoir télécharger un fichier sans savoir où le télécharger.

Bon, on me dit que hplip est déjà installé sur mon ordinateur.
Ma version minimale pour cette imprimante est : 3.10.4 .
Par contre, on me dit aussi :
This printer REQUIRES a downloadable driver plug-in, which is required to enable print, fax or scan support. Use hp-setup to install the printer, and to download and install the plug-in. Driver plug-ins are released under a proprietary (non-open) license and are not part of the HPLIP tarball release.
Même la page de test (quand je vais dans les paramètres de l'imprimante) ne s'imprime pas.
Sinon, j'ai :

Je suis en train de réinstaller hplip et compagnie via Synaptic.
[Marrant que j'aie dû installer Synaptic comme un vulgaire logiciel via la Logithèque. Avec Ubuntu 14.04, je le trouvais parmi les paramètres système.]

Bon, après réinstallation des paquets qui étaient déjà installés, j'ai eu le même message d'erreur dans le terminal.
Par contre, après installation d'autres paquets (qui apparaissent quand je cherche hplip dans Synaptic et qui n'étaient pas installés), je n'ai plus le message d'erreur dans le terminal. J'obtiens :

HPLIP détecte mon imprimante via USB.
Par contre, quand je clique Download and disable, ça ne marche pas. J'ai une fenêtre qui m'indique d'aller sur cette page.

Je ne peux pas m'empêcher de dire, bien que ça ne résolve pas ton problème, mais pourquoi diantre passer de la 14.04 à la 16.04 ? D'une part la 14.04 est maintenue jusqu'en avril 2019. Et d'autre part la version 16.04 LTS est seulement à la 16.04.0. Ce n'est que quand la 16.04.1 sera sortie que le gestionnaire de mise à jour proposera la mise à niveau en ligne. La 14.04 dans ton cas marchait correctement, je serais toi je ne me poserais pas de question : sauvegarde sur DD externe du /home, et réinstallation de la 14.04.

Grigouille m'a devancé, il manque seulement le plugin proprio, si hplip ne le télécharge pas automatiquement, il y a la procédure pour le faire manuellement c'est très facile il suffit de connaître la bonne version d'hplip : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/hplip#le_greffon_proprietaire

Moi, je dirais que c'est Sainte Démerde la patronne de l'informatique qui a fait un miracle 
Un peu comme moi hier qui me suis battu avec le branchement wifi sur une Voyager 16.04, marre, je laisse tomber, je redémarre sur une autre distri, je reviens et BINGO ça marche 
Vive Richard Stalmann, Linus Torvalds, et tous les fondus de Linux.
De l'Ordinosaure fait à 90% de récup, à deux portables LDLC, neufs sans système et une carte mère sans boitier, tous libres !!

Bon, sinon, un léger hors-sujet, mais je n'allais ouvrir une discussion juste pour dire que :
- Avec Ubuntu 16.04, je n'ai eu aucun problème à l'afficher sur un écran 3840*2160 via le câble HDMI.
[Il y avait un problème avec Ubuntu 14.04 .]
