installation d'une imprimante canon pixma mg2550

Bonjour,

J'ai sur mon ordi un Ubuntu Studio 10.14 (si je ne me trompe pas...)
J'avais une imprimante hp, et quand je l'avais branchée, elle avait été reconnue immédiatement... Je me suis dit : "voilà au moins une chose qui est plus simple sous linux !
Mon imprimante est tombée en panne, obligée de la changer.
Ne soupçonnant aucune complication de ce côté-là, je n'ai pas cherché plus loin, j'ai trouvé une imprimante qui me convenait, je l'ai achetée.
Je la reçois, avec, bien sûr, le cd d'installation, puisque je l'ai achetée neuve... et là, rien à faire. Je ne peux pas installer l'imprimante sur mon pc.

J'ai beau chercher, j'ai beau fouiner : pas de canon pixma mg2500 dans les listes de drivers dispo. Et bien sûr, pas moyen d'ouvrir le cd fourni !

Je ne vous cache pas que je commence à en avoir un peu marre, d'être obligée de passer au minimum une journée entière sur mon pc au moindre petit truc à télécharger ou installer... franchement, si j'avais su ça avant, je ne serais jamais passée à linux. Jusque là je me disais que, au moins, pour la toute simple bureautique, ça pouvait le faire, mais apparemment, même pas.

Enfin, bref, tout ça pour vous demander si quelqu'un a réussi à installer une imprimante de ce type sur son Ubuntu...
J'ai absolument besoin d'imprimer rapidement des documents, et je n'ai pas les moyens de racheter une autre imprimante, donc là j'en arrive à me demander si je ne vais pas baisser les bras en ce qui concerne linux...

Bonjour Mag2,

tes pilotes sont là

à enregistrer sur ton disque,
en premier lieu tu prend en compte la remarque d'alca94 et installe libtif4
ensuite tu ouvre un terminal et tu rentre ces 4 commandes :

cd Téléchargements
tar zxvf cnijfilter-mg2500series-4.00-1-deb.tar.gz
cd cnijfilter-mg2500series-4.00-1-deb
sudo ./install.sh

puis tu te laisse guider par le script de canon

N'oublier pas d'installer LIBTIFF4 suivant votre architecture avant les pilotes CANON

je viens de verifier ce sont les memes pilotes que fournis canon pour la mg2550 donc tu peux appliquer ce que j'ai dit dans mon premier message
que j'ai légérement modifié suite á la remarque d'alca94

Bonjour,
eh bien j'ai déjà libtiff4, j'ai vérifié dans synaptique...
et pourtant ça ne marche pas. Mon ordi refuse ces commandes.

J'ai cependant réussi en passant par un  autre chemin à entrer canon mg2500serires dans mon ordi, en passant directement par localhost.
Alors, en effet, maintenant dans mon gestionnaire de paramètres, mon imprimante semble installée, mais quand on lance une impression, rien ne se passe. En bref, ça ne marche toujours pas.

Alors, je vous remercie malgré tout pour votre tentative de m'aider, mais je laisse tomber. J'ai un vieil ordi qui fonctionne sous windows. C'est pas super-pratique, mais je passe par lui pour imprimer, et voilà...
En attendant d'avoir le temps de tout sauvegarder et de repasser mon ordi plus récent sous windows...

bon ben, c'est dommage !!
il a du se passer une erreur lors de la suite de commande, si tu pouvais repasser chacune d'entres elles à la suite des autres dans un terminal et nous donner le retour de ce qui s'affiche nous pourrions savoir où ca a cloché, ca peut etre un probléme trés trivial genre ton dossier Téléchargement s'appelle en fait Download et du coup l'ensemble des commande suivante ne peuvent plus marcher sad
c'est pour ca que nous avons besoin des retours.
naturellement, si tu en a assez de te prendre la tête avec ca , et que tu veuilles repasser sous windows c'est une décision des plus respectable .

Merci pour tout, la page de test s'imprime, aucune difficulté particulière, si ce n'est patienter quelques secondes que l'imprimante et son port soient reconnus par le logiciel de configuration après avoir cliqué sur "Ajouter". La feuille s'envole (Faut tirer les languettes télescopiques de réception). Fin du retour.

bonjours, ou en est ce problème d'impimante ? Mon système a été mis a niveaux vers xubuntu 16.04.1 hier. L'installation de cette pixma mg2550 a été un franc succes grace à cette discution. J'ai pas eu à installée libtiff il était déjà dans synaptic et installé. J'ai juste pris le driver qu'à indiquée sylvain et en allumant l'imprimante. Xubuntu l'a détecté et put régler cette canon pixma. Toutes les fonctions marches parfaitement.
